The Hosts were amazing! very very clean, hots responded to queries and requests instantaneously. the pool and spa on the roof were a great place to chill after a ‘long day playing tourist’. the bbq area on the roof made a great place to do brekkie and dinner. Great facilities in the apartment, pool towels provided, smart tv, every kitchen appliance and utensil you could possible need. we loved the property and there was not one thing that we didn’t like. yes there was building work next door but it did not disturb us at all….if I hadn’t read about it on the reviews I would’ve been oblivious. the building work had zero impact on us. We will be back!!

• Tim (7/5): Overall, a good place to stay but lacked convenience with parking. - Location to Beach. Car park - in particular car elevator was definitely not convenient or easy for anyone with a larger vehicle. Had I have known this was the mode of access in and out I would not have stayed here. Fine if you don't need a car during your stay but given we were in and out a lot of the time it was very inconvenient. Construction occurring next door was also not great..

• Mark (7/5): Building site next door AND unfriendly property manager - The view of Palm Beach. Could hear the waves; but the building site next door was noisy! Having the crane lift building materials and demountable buildings past our balcony all day (AND from 7am on a Saturday), was not fun. The building manager did not allow our stand-up paddle board storage AND demanded they be removed by 5pm. We were at the beach and the paddle boards were between our car and the wall -- not impeding anyone. This apartment was very expensive and sadly our experience was not relaxing. Would not recommend Periscope at Palm Beach.

• Anabelle (5/5): Not the luxe stay we were expecting by any means. The apartment itself is well appointed and the view is phenomenal but - The view was amazing as was the layout of the property. The room is adjacent to a construction site and we were woken quite early on a Saturday by the sounds emanating from the site. We paid more than $1,500 for 2 nights, yet were asked to empty all the bins and to ensure the unit was left in the same way we found it albeit for the beds. The cleaning is not up to standards either and beware when they say “private pool” in the description. It is in fact a shared pool inside the building but no information is provided as to its location even though it’s marketed on the Booking site.
• Audrey (7/5): Excellent location to the beach with a building pool & spa to use if you just want to enjoy views - Excellent location due to proximity to the beach. Bedding for the sofa bed was inadequate. We booked for 6 people but not properly set up for 6. Sheets supplied but No blankets or doona provided for the sofa bed. We sent a message asking about the doona and got zero response during our stay which was most disappointing as they could have supplied something to the room during our stay but didn’t. The pool is also NOT private as advertised on the add and was the main reason we booked the room. I have a screen shot of the wording as proof if needed. Very deceiving the wording is on the add which you should change. Private means absolute exclusivity to your room which is not the case as it’s a SHARED pool in the building on the rooftop. The lock on the box to get the key/fob also difficult & doesn’t work properly. There was a smell around the apartment of cooking spices (the only was we can describe it) which was unpleasant. The verandah needs a good clean. Very dusty and sandy under the dining table. Blueberry was found on the floor near the sofa bed and long hairs left on the master bedroom dresser. Location to the beach was excellent. Side gate access code not provided, needed to walk around the property to get back in.

• Lewington (10/5): Exceptional - Communications with Booking.com were poor. the email from Booking.com had a phone number and a booking reference. I rang the number to confirm the check I time and used the reference number in the email and booking.com had no records. I found another phone number in the O’Day of the message and he was excellent. booking.com though we’re terrible. I needed to send a picture of the room key return via email. I replied to the request but the email was rejected. again, booking.com fail. I suggest an return email address be provided in the body of the request email. Out only issue is with booking.com. The person at the other phone number was excellent.
