Guest Reviews
- Vladimir (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (6/5): Pleasant - Area not recommended for those travelling with kids
- Kevin (3/5): Poor -
- Juan (7/5): It was good, great and friendly staff and comfortable stay. Close to a Metro station! - The reception Staff were great and friendly. I think they are the best asset of the hotel.
- Hayanne (1/5): Bad - When I arrived in the hotel they said for me to look for another hotel because they were without energy and they didn't refund me
- Chris (1/5): Disaster. Fire and not safe hotel - The bed was comfortable There was a fire in the hotel. No fire alarm went off. Fire service arrived and I asked them if we needed to evacuate and they said no. No staff anywhere. Left room, corridor full of smoke. Went to enjoy Madrid and got back to hotel to find it was closed with all our stuff locked inside. Tried to call number on door but no answer. We then spent 15 minutes trying to get into the hotel to retrieve our stuff before being let in. Guy was rude and I asked why he did not contact us, but as it was a foreign number they refused to call it. Tried to move us to sister hotel in the arse end of nowhere and I refused. We were then left homeless in Madrid. I will be taking this further. Stay here at your peril!
- Gregory (8/5): Very good - nice place, clean. overall good value the bathroom walls are glass, so there is very little privacy while using the bathroom
- Alessandro (7/5): Good -
- Warren (4/5): Disappointing - comfortable bed location was terrible, and walls very thin

- Phiphat (7/5): Good -
- Natasha (7/5): Clean and well presented. Rooms we’re cold in Marchand walls quite thing. But for the price can’tcomplain too much - It was newly renovated so clean and fresh. Shower pressure is amazing The walls are very thin. And the single glaze in the windows means you here everything outside. Rooms were cold. We were there in March. Once you were in bed it was fine.
- Artem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luisa (8/5): Very good -
- Lara (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, easy to get to, good location , nice staff
- Ryan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sasa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nathan (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (9/5): Calm and refined! - The staff were amazing, very helpful and it felt really clean and more luxurious inside. The style was really cool, for the price I think you get an amazing room. Maybe what I can say it’s that the room felt a bit dark? Since it had no window, but that’s all I can say “bad”😂
- Elene (5/5): Passable - I like the location of the Hotel There was no space in the room to put clothes or at least hang coats somewhere. Room was extremely small but I wouldn't have problem about that if there would be hanger at least. Wifi was not working at all, and also my own mobile internet wasn't working in the room, since there was no connection, so we couldn't do any simple thing that needed internet. Water also got cold couple times. Lastly, person in the Check-in desk wasn't speaking any other language than Spanish, so we couldn't even communicate about our problems.
- Oliwia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional - Staff members are kind and helpful.
- Moniko (7/5): Good enough for one night, but not three. - The best part of the stay was the incredible shower pressure and hot water on demand. The bed was actually comfortable.
The location worked well for our needs, but it’s a little far from the city centre. Transit is easy and accessible.
Staff were polite and friendly. Overall, the hotel desperately needs updating and cleanliness needs improvement. We found cobwebs behind the bathroom door.
The room was tiny. One had to walk sideways to get around the bed.
The washroom counter was nonexistent and could have used more towel bars. The wire hangers provided were barely strong enough to hang our coats.
Bedside lighting would be nice to have.
- Marcela (9/5): We recomend. - Excelent sheets and mattresses, awesome heating, hot water really fast. Close subway station. Clean towels daily. Smart tv, excelent Wi-Fi, has elevator, lots of stores nearby Thin walls but we were to tired to matter 🤣
- Fateh (7/5): Good -
- Ofir (6/5): Pleasant -

- Chema (8/5): Very good -
- Victor (5/5): It is a love hotel - not a hotel. Cheap and easy to get public transport. - The location is around 7 minutes walking to the nearest subway station so that was handy. The place is a love hotel that they call it a hotel - which is definitely not. The bed was not comfy, the TV doesn’t have any signal at all and the first bedroom we got was flooding all over the place when taking showers and we asked to change at the reception and they did - to another one that doesn’t have thermostat in it so you have to call the reception every time to set it the way you want it. Remember when I told that it is a love hotel? So basically the bathroom is inside the bedroom and it is separated by glass walls, so you have no privacy when using it. The sound isolation is horrible - you can hear everything from the other bedrooms or hall. And the lift was making a weird noise - looks like it’s going to break anytime soon.
- Amina (7/5): Good hotel for the price. - It’s okay for the price. The bus station and the metro station are near the hotel. The hotel doesn’t offer much, the room is pretty small, but overall it’s fine. We had a glass door at the bathroom in our double room, so be careful when you choose this hotel, it may be strange if you like your privacy.
- Nicolás (7/5): Good -
- Ilias (9/5): Superb -
- Shalom (8/5): Very good -
- Rohat (2/5): Very poor - Inexperienced staff, almost no one could speak English. The room was on the underground floor, and the air conditioner was set to a freezing temperature. We actually got sick because of it. I had to ask them every night to turn up the temperature. It was 35 degrees outside, but the room was 15 degrees. The staff said this issue only occurs on the reception floor. They initially agreed to change our room, but then changed their mind and refused. The bed was uncomfortable, there was no wardrobe or safe, and the shower cabin kept filling up with water due to a clogged drain. Staff were shouting in the hallway. I would not recommend this hotel to tourists at all.
- Crescencio (8/5): Great! - Clean, toiletries provided, great staff. Highly recommended Nothing
- Ranko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ksenya (6/5): Pleasant -
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet but great to visit chineses quarter. Very helpfull staff
- Kristína (5/5): Passable - Staff was friendly. Very small room, almost impossible to move inside. It was very cold inside. We were not comfortable.
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khurana (1/5): Bad -
- Denis (3/5): Poor - The walls surrounding the restroom + bathroom are made of glass, therefore for me and my mom it was a terrible experience to stay in such a room. Because of the glass walls installed in the bathroom, you could see everything the other person was doing there. So I had to go downstairs to use the shared restroom on the ground floor and leave the room, any time my mom wanted to use the restroom. One could argue that it was possible to reduce the lighting to make the room darker so that the other person could not see anything but it did not help at all - everything was still pretty transparent. Needless to say that the room was tiny and there was space only for two beds and a desk, which were positioned very close to each other.
The other fact is that the location seemed to be in a sort of Chinese district in Madrid and the surroundings looked shabby and like some sort of slums, so we were a bit scared to walk the streets alone during late hours.
It should also be noted that the hotel had a different kind of electric sockets - we come from Germany and could not use the sockets for charging our electronic devices (phone, laptop etc), as they were completely incompatible with our devices. Naturally, the reception did not have any adapters to offer and we were running around in the city looking for cafeterias to charge our phones all the time.
To sum up, the quality of this hotel does not meet the price at all, it is too over-priced for such a bad accomodation.
- Alvaro (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Manuel (7/5): Correct -
- İsmail (9/5): Superb -
- Temitope (7/5): Good -
- Willie (9/5): Comfortable. Not too far the city center. Helped me save. - the shower pressure was the best. the bathroom was a bit small bit clean. the shower made up for the rooms size.
the bed was large and comfortable. the bed sheet looked new and clean. the whole place looked like it was new or recently renovated. did look like much from the outside but inside was surprisingly modern. the photos on the site didn't do it justice. nothing really comes to mind. except maybe the wall are a bit thin and I can hear every thing in the hall. but thats also normal. and not as bad as some other older hotels I been in.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - I liked proximity to the intercity bus on Plaza Eliptica, cleanliness and staff. Glassy transparent walls in toilet and bathroom
- Meerim (7/5): Good -
- Ashraf (2/5): Not recommended - low price There was 3 stars sign at the hotel entrance, I would rate it less than 1 star.
1- Room space is very small and narrow one cannot even circulate arround the bed.
2- Poor facilities, no ketle, no iron, no coffe machine, no hand towel, no luggage rack, so we had to re-arrange the room to find a space for our bags.
3- When we arrived there there was no ramp to troll our bags, we had to lift them in staircase, so tired and exhauted, there was no reception area to get some rest.
- Cenk (7/5): Good -
- Andrea (8/5): Good value for money and close to where we needed to be. - Was in a good location for Wizink centre, once we realised the metro was really close. Room was basic but clean and functional and great value for money. Staff very helpful and spoke English. Nowhere to hang up clothes for next day.
Bathroom had a glass wall which meant you could see into the shower and also the WC, no privacy.
- Winder (7/5): Modern Good Value Hotel in Tough Neighbourhood - The hotel was very modern, clean and comfortable. The room was also clean. It was of a reasonable size and had good ensuite facilities with strong water pressure in the shower. The front desk was staffed 24 hours and the personnel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had vending machines selling drinks and snacks. Although the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, it is possible to get breakfast nearby. It was also only a short walk from Usera station on the Madrid metro. Above all the price is very reasonable, one of the cheapest in Madrid. It is not possible to control the air conditioning in the room, it got a little cold during the night. Also when other guests in the hotel smoke cigarettes, the smell comes onto the room. (I had to open the window in the morning to let the smell out.) If you want to watch TV you need to take your Amazon prime and Netflix login details with you because the other channels aren't available. This hotel is located in a rather tough neighborhood where you have to constantly have to watch your back and I didn't feel safe out of the hotel.. This area would definitely be for the adventurous traveller as you are definitely off the tourist trail around here.
- Dragomir (9/5): Crno Beli Madrid - good hostel, good staff, clean and comfortable, good internet, reception is open all the time.
metro station 10 minutes from the hostel

Good room and space but the tv doesn’t work and the wifi is poor.
The location is a little bit sketchy in a hood most likely, but overall no problems with it.
The conditions and the staff is amazing and we enjoyed our stay!
I give 4 outta 5. We liked the price/condition ratio

- Stuart (5/5): Passable - Reception staff very helpful and polite Rooms very noisy, can here the next room talking, even them taking a shower or using the toilet as water system is very very very loud.
Walls very thin.
No coffee facilities
The bathroom is a glass box, which is ok as a solo traveller, but as a couple or friends sharing its not very private.
The TV you have to sign into your own amazon, apple tv 3tc, which again is fine if you have accounts, but if you don't there is no terrestrial TV.
- Tuckler (8/5): good - have nice personnel it was good
- Duncan (6/5): ok for one or 2 nights. - Reasonable price for Madrid and newly refurbished Room was very small. Also refurbishments were not quite completed - walls for example not finished. Given it is owned by South Americans one hopes they are not going to leave it that way. Hostel is a bit of a walk from the metro down some narrowish streets - if arriving late might be better by taxi.
- Maayan (4/5): For a good stay find a different hotel - A nice reception guy tried to do his best to help One of the Worst Hotel Experiences Ever
I strongly advise against staying at this hotel for several reasons.
Firstly, the location is terrible. Not only is it a 30-minute journey from the city center, but the surrounding area is tough and unpleasant, making it uncomfortable to walk around, especially at night.
Secondly, while the rooms might appear nice at first glance, I had to switch rooms three times due to the overwhelming smell of smoke. Despite being in non-smoking rooms, the stench of cigarette smoke from other rooms seeped into mine, which was absolutely unbearable. I’ve never encountered something this awful in all my travels.
Additionally, the noise levels are intolerable. The street outside is very noisy, with loud gatherings, cars blasting music, and motorcycles revving late into the night. The soundproofing in the rooms is non-existent, so you can hear every sound as if it were right outside your window.
As someone who stays in over 30 hotels a year, I can confidently say this has been the worst experience I've ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s simply not worth your time or money.
- Yeranuhi (8/5): Very good -
- Luigi (8/5): Good experience - nice room, comfortable
- Puddea (8/5): Very good -
- Reka (7/5): For short term worth the money - The room was clean, the bathroom as well.
The bed was comfy. The area of the hotel is not the best, although you can reach the central within 30min with bus or metro.
The insulation is not great, you can here all the noises from outside
