• Tracy (7/5): Location is great. Decor looks nice, but is not practical. - Location is great. Room deodorizer was overpowering. Many ornaments on surfaces left little room for my belongings. Bathroom sink is impractical for teeth cleaning. Dust and debris on carpet alongside wall near sink. Strange scrunched up tea towel in fridge.
• Sandra (9/5): Convenient, comfy and quirky apartment with safe parking. - Great location, near Toorak village. Lock up parking. Clean and attractive apartment with lots of small thoughtful touches. Great coffee machine. Good communication with host. Chic decor. I was afraid to break some of the lovely ornaments but they did add to the ambience. Less things would mean more room to put things. Need a toaster.

• Harding (7/5): Good - Great location. Close to supermarket and public transport while situated in leafy green neighbourhood. This apartment is decorated and staged tastefully. We initially had a few issues with the key and apartment door lock (we had difficulty unlocking the door!) From the inside there is no door handle (you have to locate and use the inside door lock which in an emergency is not ideal and probably not compliant with building compliance rules!). It would be nice to have a small table and 2 chairs to sit at (acknowledging some of the other furniture would need to go to make room for it!). Though beautifully decorated and staged it is very dark inside. The bathroom is very small.

• Justin (9/5): Great Toorak location . Super modern decor and free park a bonus. - Great location and modern trendy furnished studio. Real step -up from a normal hotel room. We found the front door to the apartment with the fob and key a bit tricky .

• Chad (10/5): Perfect short-term stay! - The studio has absolutely everything you would need for a short stay. It’s in a really good location and spotlessly clean. The check-in experience was smooth and super-friendly. It’s quiet and comfortable, bed is super comfortable. Nothing.
• Philip (9/5): Perfect for a short stay in this beautiful part of Melbourne. - This is a small, cosy, very secure and beautifully furnished apartment in a quiet street close to some great cafes and restaurants in Chapel Street and South Yarra. Perfect for a short stay. Although the entrance foyer is very grand, the corridor and stair carpets leading to the apartment are badly stained. Probably more an issue for body corporate than the host. The apartment itself is beautiful.

• Suzanne (10/5): A welcoming home away from home. - Mel’s communication and friendliness was brilliant. The assistance received in accessing the property was very helpful, the welcoming touches made the studio a perfect place to relax and access Toorak and its surrounds. The fact we had parking for our car was an exceptional feature. The added effort put in with a welcome drink and the added extras, such as coffee, milk and bathroom facilities made the experience 10/10. Thank you for your local recommendations and your help every step of the way- Mel is a wonderful host. I would not hesitate to recommend the Chic Toorak Studio.
