• Hilary (10/5): Great location in San Sebastian - Casa Santa Barbara is in a great location! Lots of great pinxtos bars nearby, easy to walk to most anything in San Sebastian, very clean, and run by a very nice couple. It’s on a quiet street, away from the crowds of downtown but easily accessible. Can’t think of anything.

• Stella Woods (8/5): Comfortable, convenient location for exploring San Sebastián - Great location to explore San Sebastián. Free tea and coffee. Friendly ,helpful host. Close to both train stations and easy walk to beach and old town. Nice balcony overlooking the street with cosy cafe opposite. Steep stairs to access the property, which is on the first floor, but I have a sore knee!

• Enrique (7/5): - La ubicación en pleno centro con bastante sitios para comer cercanos. Mario muy amable y disponible para la recepción . Agua, café/te, información de la ciudad..todo a mano y de libre servicio Baño limpio y practico aunque sea compartido, lo cual no es problema en este tipo de alojamientos Al ser céntrico se espera el ruido proveniente de la calle y los bares cercanos, para eso se proporcionan acertadamente los tapones para los oidos. Otra cosa es dentro del apartamento que se debería de evitar en lo posible el tránsito continuo de personas a partir de las 12 de la noche, particularmente el uso de la ducha,, ya que no está bien insonorizado y se escucha prácticamente todo, incluso con los tapones De la habitación solo señalaria que la almohada está bastante dura

• Kayoko (9/5): 期待以上でした - ご主人のアントニオさんがとても親切でした。コーヒーやカップケーキも自由に頂けます。バルコニー付きの部屋でとても広く快適でしたが、他の部屋はそれほど広くなさそうでした。照明が天井にあるので、部屋が明るくてよかったです。 トイレ、バスルームが共同で部屋にはないことが不便でしたが、二箇所あるので、ほぼ独占していたように思います。ベッドは固めでした。エアコンはないようです。扇風機がありました。

Le site et surtout le service client de Booking qui n'existe pas ni par téléphone, ni par chat et mail les retours sont fait par IA, Impossible Site mal noté sur truspilot, même les hoteliers se plaignent , c'est louche le fonctionnement de Booking. Fort mécontement. Usagère transparente.

• Jonatan (10/5): Todo correcto y muy bien! - El trato personal me encanto, gente muy simpática y atención de 10, me lo guardo para la proxima. Lo único que podría decir es el hecho de compartir baño, no por el personal que lo mantenía todo limpio sino por los otros huéspedes que coincidimos con alguien que carecía de puntería a la hora de mear, repito, esto no es culpa del personal ni el sitio ya que estaba todo muy limpio y muy bien a excepción de cuando entraba la otra persona.

• Silva Archila (9/5): Highly recommended for solo travellers - The place has a privileged location close to lovely restaurants, cafes, shops and the wonderful Good Shepherd Cathedral. The surroundings were very safe, put together and a short, nice walk away to the old town. My room had a balcony and enjoyed lots of space, natural light, comfy double bed and an umbrella for when needed. Cleanliness was top and you had water, tea or coffee available. Mario the host was very hospitable and friendly offering advice about where to eat and visit.

• Garry (9/5): Great stay- Thankyou Mario. - Great place to stay and great location. Mario the owner makes you feel quite welcome and was spot on with the places to eat and visit. Even though it is a shared bathroom there are 2 bathrooms to 4 rooms which is quite convenient. Unfortunately the entry way looks shabby but I insist you look past it. The room is definitely not shabby. The other is the noise. Being a renovated old building you can’t get away with paper thin walls and other tenants tend to lack respect for others. Mario has new ear plugs in every room which is very helpful.

• Jesica Romina (9/5): Muy agradable. - Los dueños fueron muy amables conmigo. La habitación era espaciosa, con mesa de escritorio y nevera. La iluminación y los puntos de electricidad. Había una mesita en el pasillo donde podías servirte un café o infusión con algún bocadito como para salir media desayunada ;) Uno de los problemas más comunes; las paredes son bastante finas, se oye lo que sucede en otro espacio de la casa, por lo que tu descanso dependerá de la empatía de alguien más. Aunque ahora que recuerdo te dan tapones...

• Lucia (10/5): Todo perfecto, volvería - Todo muy bien, ubicación, personal, limpieza… Sobretodo la chica muy agradable Tuvimos un pequeño percance ya que había un hueco entre la jamba y el parque del suelo y perdimos un objeto de mucho valor por ahí, que si ese agujero hubiera estado tapado no habría pasado, pero entiendo que son cosas que pueden pasar y la chica se comportó muy bien conmigo

Dès notre arrivée, il nous a chaleureusement accueillis et nous a même permis de déposer nos bagages avant l’heure du check-in, ainsi qu’après le check-out, ce qui était vraiment pratique. La maison était très propre, et nous nous y sommes sentis totalement à l’aise et en sécurité, sans jamais avoir l’impression d’être “chez quelqu’un”. Mario nous a également fourni une carte de la ville et de très bonnes recommandations de restaurants et de bars. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre de Saint-Sébastien, ce qui rend tout accessible à pied. Un hôte très attentionné et un logement impeccable : nous recommandons sans hésiter !
• Stavroula (8/5): Safe, central and welcoming roo - Perfect location just opposite the bus terminal. Such a welcoming and helpful host who shared best spots to eat. Shared bathroom was spotless and even had a espresso machine for communal use in the hallway! Noise from bar next door was evident, but went away when you closed the windows and used the earplugs provided!

• Pau (9/5): Buen alojamiento pegado al centro - Muy bien situado, atención magnífica, limpio... genial El único pero, el baño que necesita una reforma, y el precio que siendo San Sebastián no dejan de ser 90€ euros en temporada baja. La escalera (eso ya no depende del alojamiento) necesitan una buena pintada y luces.

• foulon (8/5): - Mario était très sympathique et nous a conseillé des adresses dans San Sebastian. Le logement est très bien situé et proche de la gare. C’est ennuyant que les toilettes soient dans la salle de bain commune et qu’il n’y ait pas d’autres toilettes à disposition.

• Mrs Lady (10/5): Excellent location and good host - We liked the large room and central location close to the bus station and a short walk to the old town and beaches. We were nervous about the shared bathroom but it was very clean and only shared with one other room so not a problem. The bar over the road was quite noisy until late but if we had shut the windows it would have kept the noise out.

Lo genial tener café a primera hora de la mañana, estupendo. Lo que no me gusto: El baño que es compartido, con demás gente . Y la cama sonaba un poco al uno moverse.

The bed was very comfortable and it was quite warm throughout the night. Night life sounds can be a little much if you are staying for a longer time and want to disconnect.
• Marcel (10/5): Cozy shared apartment right in downtown - It was a nice shared apartment and perfect for our overnight trip to the city. The host Mario was easy to communicate with and he was very helpful with letting us keep our heavy backpacks inside before check-in and after check-out, so we could explore the city more easily. It's a few minutes walk to tapas bars and the train station and a huge church where we were lucky to see a wedding being held! If you are stopping in the city on the Camino pilgrimage this would be a nice choice.

Solely rooms in a private house. View was of scaffolding outside the window. Room was cold/heating didn't work. No signage outside so difficult to find. Bed linen has a musty smell. Shared bathroom across the hall. Gruff host. Location OK. Reduced privacy.

Assistiti per ogni, anche piccola, necessità Ottimo sevizio di caffè con macchina espresso e pasticcini disponibili per l’intera giornata. Bagno pulitissimo e profumato. Camera spaziosa e silenziosa con vista sulla strada a cento metri dal duomo. La casa è a 400 metri dalla stazione degli autobus. La magnifica via centrale è a meno di cinque minuti a piedi. La città vecchia a meno di 15. Ottima impressione. Ci torneremo Il servizio e la posizione

• NURIA (8/5): - Muy buena ubicación, sobre todo si estás de paso, y la amabilidad de los propietarios. En el pasillo cuenta con una pequeña mesa con agua, cafés, infusiones y bollos para los hospedados. Habitación y baño muy limpio. El precio es alto, como en toda la ciudad, pero ligeramente más bajo que la media. Es una pensión de de baño compartido, lo cual no generó ningún problema y este estaba impecable. Está en una calle muy bulliciosa y las paredes son finas, se oye todo, para eso te dan unos tapones que eliminan todo tipo de ruidos. Con todo descansamos muy bien.

• Génesis Kiran (10/5): - La ubicación era ideal, cercano a todos los puntos interesantes de San Sebastián que prácticamente vas a todo andando (playa, catedral, etc.). Nos gustaron bastante las instalaciones, estaba todo limpio, ordenado y bien equipado. Incluso fuera teniamos dispensador de agua y café, algo para picar lo cual se agradece. Sin duda, repetiriamos. Incluso Mario nos dejó salir mas tarde de la hora indicada en booking dejándonos guardar las cosas. La única "pega" es el tema del parking si vienes saber que en el centro de difícil aparcar todo es de pago, pero Mario nos indicó donde dejar el coche para no tener que pagar demasiado parking y perfecto.

• Oliver (10/5): Definitely worth the stay - Loved the location. It was close to the city center and had a lot of restaurants. The residence was also super clean, and I could even walk barefoot without a problem. I thought the shared bathroom would be a problem but the host kept it neat throughout the day and there was easy access to a washroom anytime we needed it. The host was very friendly and gave us some local recommendations. There was nothing to dislike. It's definitely good value for money.

• expo (5/5): Für jugendliche Backpacker - Die Berwertung ist nicht ganz zutreffend, da ich mich mit dieser Buchung vertan habe. Gefallen hat mir nur die Lage und der Vermieter hat sich einigermaßen Mühe gegeben. Ich wollte eine Nacht in einem günstigen Hotem in Donistia verbringen und habe nicht bemerkt, dass ich ein Hostel? gebucht habe. 1. Stock ohne Aufzug ein Zimmer in einer Wohnung mit shared bath und das sehr hellhörig. 2 Handtücher, ein Kleines und ein noch Kleineres. Dafür ist der Preis noch sehr hoch.

Mario as a host was helpful and offered us a welcome beers, nicely done. Shared bathroom was only shared with one other room so no problem with that either, no A/C, that’s only a minor set back, clean and big room. Happy to do another time No A/C, did not notice that while booking and +30 degrees. Anyway not a problem for ä 1 niight
