Guest Reviews
- Lachlan (9/5): - An amazing location with a kitchen built in to the room. Brilliantly located with easy access to the busses, a short walk (or bus ride) to Brixton stayion and literally next door tp groceries and restaurants. Amazing, brilliant and clean. Both the room and the private bathroom next door are a tad small, and as a taller ans bigger man it was a little difficult to get dressed after a shower. But, a minor gripe.
- Hadjoudj (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, available hosts, quiet building, clean and cosy
- Dwayne_haber (4/5): "Overall, I have to say that it was not worth the money I paid for my stay." - The owner was helpful and when asked for instructions, he sent a whole document through WhatsApp with how the property can be accessed, the door combinations (more on these below) and how things work. The location is easily reached via bus and is a short distance (roughly a 15 to 20 min walk) from Brixton underground station. Unfortunately, the location and the helpful information provided by the owner were the only good things I experienced during my stay.
Firstly, the biggest issue is that nowhere in the photos or the information found on this website, indicate that the bathroom is located in a common corridor outside of your room opposite another 2 occupied rooms/apartments. The bathroom itself is very small (around 2m x 1m) with the toilet literally right next to the door to the corridor. This means that if people are speaking in the corridor (which does happen), the only thing separating you using the bathroom from them, is the door. The size of the bathroom also means that if you have a bigger build, you do not have enough space to dry yourself after a shower and put on your clothes.
Secondly, the doors do not lock with a key, but with a door code. This means that if you're in a rush to either access your room or your bathroom, you need to either remember the code or else stay looking on your phone for the combination. Furthermore, not having a key means that anyone who knows the code can access it. While this was not my main concern, it is still a concern nonetheless.
Thirdly, the room itself was quite uncomfortable and small (roughly 3m x 4m, including kitchenette, bed, wardrobe and a table). When I arrived, I realised that I couldn't even open my luggage fully as the only space available (between the bed and the kitchenette) was way too narrow. If you're staying here, be ready to only have a small luggage with you, or else you will have to stay jumping over your stuff to go over from one side of the room to the other.
Overall, I have to say that it was not worth the money I paid for my stay.

The - The environment is neat and clean, the landlord is very nice,And will respond immediately if you have any questions. The equipment in the room is all available, the price is reasonable, the transportation is convenient, and the environmental performance is very good. The only small drawback is that the soundproofing equipment is a bit poor when there is a couple living next door.
- Anja (8/5): Simon and his team made everything super easy which helped make my solo trip to London great! - Great little apartment close to Brixton station which makes going to city centre quite convenient and fast. The apartment is a bit on the smaller side and the bathroom is right outside the front door of the room.
- James (8/5): Perfect for One - Tiny place, perfect for one person, in a great location. Good communication with the owners by WhatsApp. Even the cleaning lady was friendly and helpful. Nice little kitchen area, well equipped, all with good heating in the December cold. Separate private bathroom, but right next door.
- Hadasa (9/5): Superb - The room was cozy and very well equiped. Probably that the room heater was not working.
- Satomi (10/5): comfortable and reasonable - I was impressed with this well-maintained, clean and comfortable room. Moreover, this room offers what you need to stay, such as plates, kitchen utensils, a hair dryer and a microwave. I enjoyed this sunny room in this lovely summer. The location is nice. This room faces the main street and is next to Tesco Express. For this reason, there are car noises and alarms from the street. Every coin has two sides.
- Rune (9/5): Tiny, but efficient and tidy apartment. Excellent for exploring Brixton. -
