• Karen (10/5): Fantastic views, comfy beds, and close to amenities, with peace and quiet overnight. - Beautiful apartment with enough space for two friends to stay in while also having individual privacy on separate floors overnight. The owners sent a really detailed (with photos) guide on how to get there, and even thought about the things you might need later, like where to throw trash away outside the apartment if you fill the bin. We arrived near midnight and there was no issue getting in as it’s all done with key codes, and the local transport they suggested was still running into the late hours. Tourist tax is taken through an online portal, which was pretty quick and easy to use. As an English gal, I need my tea, and they had a kettle and several decent sized mugs for a proper builders brew. There’s a massive fridge if you are there for longer than a weekend and want to stock up, and the private rooftop terrace (specifically for the two bedroom apartment on the top floor - it is not shared) has cushioned seats and a 360 degree view of the whole city (you can see in my pics how lovely it is) to relax in during the evenings. There’s even a pet seagull who pops by every morning to enjoy the view with you…we named her Venicia! Right outside the property is a little sandwich shop, and if you wander for five minutes there is a little pizza shop where you can get individual slices of pizza for £5 and sit on the canal edge with all the locals. You can’t sit on the canal edge in many other places without getting turfed off by cultural stewards, so this a hidden gem for a quiet, affordable evening (see photos for the ambiance). Also five minutes walk away is a little breakfast cafe where you can get fantastic croissants and omelettes until 11am, and a supermarket too, so you won’t go hungry. There’s several more-fancy waterside restaurants within a 5 minute walk too if you want to posh it up a bit without a big walk. The place is super quiet overnight, so introverts will love it. This isn’t really a dislike, but more an awareness thing. Venice, being a water city, is chock full of mosquitoes, so before we flew I prepared for this and bought a lightweight pop-up mosquito bed-net to use. My buddy didn’t and was consequently eaten alive by mosquitoes overnight. I was fine, so take a mini bug spray and a bed-net and voila, no problem. There are mosquitoes in the shower - no way the owners can prevent this - so just check for them in the bathroom before de-robing, so you can deal with them before they try to eat you while your showering. 😂 The door locks on both the rooftop terrace and especially the apartment door keypad lock always need a double check as we found them to be sticky and a little temperamental, so lock it, wait a minute then double check it’s properly locked. Don’t leave any money in the apartment because this is Venice and it’s the first and only thing folks will look for if they break in (we did wonder afterwards if the apartment door code was the same each time for each visitor, so ask the owners for a fresh code to be safe). I quite sensibly took a luggage cable lock and just locked-tied my valuables to the radiator pipe to be sure, and personally had no issues. One thing the owners could improve is to put some big fairy lights on the terrace. At night it is pitch black, so you can only really enjoy the terrace during daylight hours. It would make a huge difference to have a few strings of outdoor fairy lights installed up there, so you could quietly drink your tea and enjoy the nighttime air on the terrace in your slippers.

• Gemma (7/5): Nice terrace with great views. A good, comfortable stay. - Lovely terrace with wonderful views. Nice location, just a short walk to San Marco. Communication with the owners was very easy and they replied to our messages very promptly. The beds were comfy, even the sofa bed. It was good for a couple of days. Good value for money compared to other flats in Venice. We were a group of 6 adults and we all managed to shower without the hot water running out! Overall a pleasant stay. They need to restock the apartment. There were no wine glasses and only one or two glasses for water. We used mugs for all drinks! The hairdryer that was provided didn't work properly (didn't go warm at all!). Bit of a weird upstairs room with a huge space with low ceilings that is unused. You cannot control the heating so it came on when we didn't need it and so we had to keep the windows open. These are small things that can be fixed easily but make a big difference to your stay.

• Carina (1/5): Incredibly disappointing - Nice area. Initially very happy with apartment. NO HOT WATER so unable to have a shower for the WHOLE STAY. Despite telling Wonderful Italy about the issue. No attempt to resolve this. Lock on front door also broken, so needed to bring ALL valuables out every day as too unsafe to leave in apartment. Also reported and zero attempt to sort. No hot water. Not able to have a shower for 4 days. Absolutely outrageous. Travelling with my. Close to 70 year old mother and 2 daughters. Completely ruined our trip in many ways.
• Tim (5/5): The location was superior in the Dorsoduro/Accademia area, close to the academia and Oeggy Guggenheim Collectiin and - The floor plan worked quite well for our group of 4 single adults. The 4 flights of stairs were too difficult for a disabled member of our group. Also, the stench from the bathroom could not be overcome. We had to leave all windows open and live in the cold.
• Jessika (7/5): - Die Wohnung hatte alles was man benötigt und war sehr groß. Die Lage war recht ruhig, aber schön. In der Nähe waren zwei Haltestelle, um mit dem Wasserbus ins Zentrum zu kommen. Des Weitern gab es Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe. Der Boden war sehr kalt und das Schloss an der Tür war nicht mehr ganz intakt, so dass man die Tür zuschließen könnte, sie jedoch nicht lärmdicht war. Ich hatte leider auch keinen Balkon.

• Crocini (3/5): - Appartamento spazioso, pulizia accettabile Buona posizione Appena arrivati, siamo stati derubati dentro appartamento, usciti per aperitivo, rientrati dopo poco , abbiamo trovato bagagli disfatti e ci hanno rubato €800,00 da un portafoglio collocato in una tasca interna e poco visibile di uno zaino. Appartamento con codice per entrare sia portone scale ,che portone appartamento. Le finestre erano ben chiuse e quando siamo arrivati non c'era nessuno vicino a noi da poter vedere digitare codice, quindi non si spiega come posso essere entrati senza conoscerlo,forse usando un dispositivo per sbloccarlo?. Non c'è nessun segno di scasso e il codice viene sostituito tra un ospite e altro... Quindi pessima esperienza, poi devo dire che la pulizia non è impeccabile, lampadari di tessuto sopra il letto molto polverosi, materassi senza coprimaterasso ma con lenzuolo appoggiato direttamente sopra😐e puzza di fogna in bagno ogni volta che veniva usata acqua, molte ragnatele nelle camere da letto.

Das Gepäck kann vor und nach dem Bezug der Wohnung in einem Gepäckraum verstaut werden. Dieser hat sogar ein WC. Sehr komfortabel… Das ausziehbare Sofa im Wohnzimmer hatte unterschiedliche Härtegrade, was leider ungemütlich war. Ansonsten eine traumhafte Wohnung….

• A. Mouret (7/5): - Appartement très propre, très bien situé dans un quartier calme, très proche du vaporetto et du pont de l'académie. L'agence a été vraiment très réactive suite à un problème d'eau chaude. Bravo ! La climatisation, le lave-linge et le lave-vaisselle très appréciables. Appartement parfait pour 2 personnes, par contre le canapé lit est vraiment très dur et difficile d'y coucher 2 personnes supplémentaires.

Faltaban algunas toallas cuando llegamos (éramos nueve y había seis juegos), no había cafetera (por lo visto no está incluida, pero sería un detalle) y en la cocina no había mucho para mantenerla recogida (ni mantel ni trapos, y apenas lavavajillas de mano y dos pastillas de máquina).

• Miriam (6/5): Der Aufenthalt war schön, aber die Wohnung hat definitiv noch viel Verbesserungspotenzial. - Die Wohnung liegt recht zentral und man kann alles sehr gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Vaporetto erreichen. Die Ausstattung war mieserabel. Die Spülmaschine konnte man nicht richtig öffnen und es war wenig Zubehör da. Auch haben wir Geschirrtücher oder einen Lappen vermisst. Das was da war, haben wir schmutzig vorgefunden. Das Sofabett ist leider auf der einen Seite einfach nur ein stoffbezogenes Brett. Ein wenig mehr Stauraum oder Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel aber auch Kleidung und andere Dinge wäre nicht schlecht.

• Alexandra (7/5): Perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub, wenn man Venedig zentral und doch in Ruhe genießen möchte - Wunderschöne Lage, etwas abseits vom Trubel. Kleine Bäckerei gleich gegenüber und ein Lebensmittelgeschäft in Fußnähe. Die private Dachterasse ist ein besonderes Extra, das wir abends geschätzt haben. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist eher minimalistisch (zB keine Weingläser, kein Weinöffner) und der Boiler im Bad ist etwas launisch (Temperatur beim Duschen schwankt)

• Guest (7/5): OK stay - Great location, quiet and not crowded. Baggage storage area was key ahead of check in. We lost electricity on the final night and it was kind of a hassle to get it fixed after normal business hours. If it wasn’t for the booking company walking us through some steps and plain luck getting some lights back I think we would have been stuck all night without power. Unfortunately there was no power to outlets once we got some power back. Also with the partial power back we had no hot water. Made what would have been a great stay into an OK stay. Also, once we walked in I attempted to adjust the thermostat, after realizing the thermostat was different than air conditioning my wife told me there was a note in the kitchen saying it would be a 500 euro fine for messing with the thermostat. They should place the note by the thermostat.

• Beatriz (10/5): Bastante bien en general. El sofá cama es bastante incómodo. - El baño es amplio y con todos los elementos. La habitación es grande, con una cama doble y una simple. El salón-cocina es grande. Las sábanas y toallas son buenas. El barrio es tranquilo, está a una parada en vaporeto de San Marcos y a 10 minutos del puente Academia. No es el centro histórico, pero está bien situado. El sofá cama es bastante incómodo, hace ruido cada vez que te mueves. Las almohadas son demasiado altas. Muchos mosquitos, pusimos el repelente y mejor.

Das hat aber bis zum anderen Zimmer gerochen. Lüften konnte man nicht, da es in diesen überdachten, verglasten Innenhof keine frische Luft gab. Ich hätte gerne einen Abwaschlappen und Abtrocknungstuch gehabt. Auf mein Schreiben, hat sich niemand gemeldet. Auch keine Infos betreffend diesen Eintritts Gebühren. Habe mehrmals angefragt, bekam keine Infos
• Ana Corina (9/5): Great location, lovely apartment - The location is great—beautiful apartment with a roof terrace. Perfect for a family with kids. The apartment was clean with a well-equipped kitchen. The access code was provided in advance, and a very good description of how to reach the apartment. Very close to the boat station, 15 min walk to a grocery shop and to the nearest bridge (Ponte dell'Accademia) to cross towards San Marco Square. We had a nice stay and will return to the same location if ever again in Venice. The shower room needs some work; the smell coming from the drains was pretty bad. We couldn't do anything about it. We didn't contact the host as we were there for 5 days and most of the time out and about. Maybe they will read this review and try to fix the issue.

Die Lage ist super die Größe ist toll, aber leider war es dreckig - Die Lage, die Größe, Matratzen sind Extrems weich, Betten nicht stabil , die Wände waren voller Tote Mücken, in der Schublade bei den Bestecken waren Haare drin … also insgesamt war die Unterkunft dreckig mit wirklich mehr Liebe und Mühe wäre es eine super Unterkunft für 8-9 Personen . Die Bilder irritieren wir hatten Apartment nr 22 .
• MARIANNE (7/5): terrasse sur le toit dans un beau quartier de Venise - très belle terrasse, appartement assez spacieux sur 2 niveaux avec accès à la grande terrasse depuis ce 2nd niveau, lits confortables sauf pour le canapé qui pourrait être mieux. j'ai trouvé l'appartement charmant. il y a une pièce au rez-de-chaussée pour stocker ses bagages à l'arrivée ou au départ. Quartier calme et proche de tout; le ménage n'était pas bien fait, il y avait des pelotes de cheveux sur le sol de la salle de bain. la salle de bain est très petite, la douche également, pas toujours de l'eau chaude. le wifi ne fonctionnait pas. Il manquait une chaise pour la table de cuisine (5 chaises alors que l'appartement est pour 6 personnes) Il n'y avait pas assez d'équipement de cuisine même ultra-basique: pas de torchon ou serviette, pas de tire-bouchon, pas assez d'assiettes pour 6, pas de verre à pieds,

• Gregor (2/5): Don't book with this company!! - Extremely bad experience, very close to deception and cheating. The photos on Booking.com don't correspond with the appartement provided. Upon arrival, the stench in the appartement was unbearable. Costumer service refuses to change appartment. Very arrogant and impudent answers of costumer service: When we tell about the stench, answer was "use a fragrance spray". Afterwards, the costumer service refuses to answer phone calls!!! The appartment generaly is dirty, dusty and in a bad state. Furniture of lowest quality. Some footage of what they sell as "superior appartment".
• Sandra (7/5): Sehr gute Lage, saubere, etwas sterile Wohnung. Empfehlenswert für 2 Personen. - Alles notwendige vorhanden, auch in der Küche, Lage ist sehr gut. Wohnung wirkt etwas kühl und steril. Das Zusatzbett im Wohnraum ist zu hart und es gab nur eine Einzeldecke für 2 Personen (zu schmal, besonders weil es kalt war). Das könnte einfach verbessert werden, würde gleich alles sehr aufwerten.

• Patrycja (7/5): Obiekt spełnił nasze oczekiwania. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. - Lokalizacja, bliskość do sklepu i kawiarni z kanapkami, ciepło, stosunkowo czysto, były ręczniki, mydło, sztućce i garnki, łóżka całkiem wygodne Słabe wygłuszenie pomiędzy poszczególnymi mieszkaniami. Słyszeliśmy wyraźnie jak ktoś chodzi po korytarzu oraz słyszeliśmy również dźwięki z mieszkania wyżej.

• Paulina (9/5): Lovely stay at an incredible location! - The location was absolutely amazing! A nice little cafe few steps away from the building, grocery shop few minute walk away. We stayed here in the beginning of April, so during the week it was absolutely quiet and almost empty around, but naturally on Friday more tourists came :) It's around 30min walk to more historical and center locations of Venice, but who wouldn't want walking around such a lovely city? ;) Apartment was clean and nice, enjoyed our stay. The smell in the bathroom coming from the sink was really bad :( Hosts forgot to leave us any toilet paper, also only 4 coffee capsules was left (3 of us stayed for 3 nights), but I guess that happens sometimes. Looked like apartment doors didn't close all the way, there was a crack, so hearing people in the hallway almost felt as if they are inside with us :D Sofa bed, unfortunately, was extremely uncomfortable :( Otherwise everything was nice and lovely!

• Lidia (7/5): Aber trotz allen diesen Mängeln war unser Urlaub sehr schön. Die Wohnung können wir weiterempfehlen. - Die Lage war super, sehr nah zur Wasserstation Salute, der Supermarkt Conad auch sehr nah. Sehr saubere Wohnung, trocken, kein Schimmel. Vielen Dank einer Reinigungskraft, die ganz schnell unser Problem mit dem Warmwasser gelöst hat. Zwei Tage lang hatten wir nur kaltes Wasser gehabt. Auch hat uns sehr gut gefallen mit einem Tür-Code in die Wohnung zu gelangen. Da wir so spät am Abend angereist sind. Es hat sehr gut funktioniert. Auch sehr gut ist mit dem Reisegepäck nachgedacht. Bei der Abreise konnte man in einem separaten Zimmer, im Haus unten, unser Gepäck abstellen. Sogar die Toilette ist vorhanden. Super! Die Wohnung können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Erste Foto auf der Booking Seite mit der Terrassen Abbildung stimmt nicht. Eigentlich war es für uns am wichtigsten eine Terrasse zu haben, nur deswegen haben wir diese Wohnung gebucht. Und es war große Enttäuschung, dass wir die Terrasse nicht hatten. Bookung stellt 45 Fotos für 6 vorhandenen Wohnungen und es kann man nicht differenzieren welche Fotos von deiner gebuchten Wohnung sind. Nur eine Wohnung Nr.6 hat die Terrasse. Die Küchenausstattung hat uns auch enttäuscht. Keine Papierküchentücher, keine Küchenlappen. Bei so einem Preis konnte man diese Kleinigkeiten zur Verfügung stellen. Im Flur keine Garderobenhacken. Wir mussten unsere Jacken und Mänteln in dem Kleiderschrank aufhängen. Nur ein einziger Spiegel in der ganzen Wohnung und nur im Badezimmer und noch nicht mal beleuchtet. Aber trotz allen diesen Mängeln war unser Urlaub sehr schön. Die Wohnung können wir weiterempfehlen.

• Piotr (9/5): Byliśmy grupą 9 osób. Wszystko co niezbędne znajdowało się w apartamencie. - Piękny widok z okien frontowych, wygodne łóżka. W zasadzie wszystko było w porządku.
• Zaugg (5/5): Bon, mais pas dû à l'appartement - L'emplacement et la terrasse sur le toit Aucun accueil, confort réduit au strict minimum, équipements succincts (manquaient par exemple des verres à pied, un tire-bouchon, une bouilloire...) lits à peine faits, des coussins sur la terrasse trouvés trempés, un volet dégondé, clé de la porte de la terrasse tordue et dure à tourner etc
