- Harish (9/5): Nice hotel- will return agan - The hotel is located on the way to Tiger’s Nest (so just outside Paro). The hotel has two wings - one is more recent built than the other. We stayed in both wings. The rooms in both wings are nice. WiFi is good. Good hot wanter on demand. Good breakfast. I really couldn’t understand room pricing. The bookings for both nights were made through booking.com and for same kind of room (same size as well) but we paid different rates and received different kind of invoice (one handwritten and one on computer). For the room in older wing we paid more.

- Khandaker Tasmia (8/5): The restaurant food is very tasty, but it closes at 9 PM, so make sure to order before then if you want food. The rooms - A very good hotel with great staff, they are very helpful. I noticed a bad smell in our washroom and have already informed the staff. Otherwise, everything was fine.
- Timothy (9/5): Excellent Paro hotel - In the heart of Paro not far from Tiger’s Nest and airport. Wonderful, kind, extremely helpful staff. Great restaurant and bar. No elevator. Occasional barking dogs at night and early AM were annoying so bring ear plugs.
- Arbind (10/5): A lovely stay in Paro , clean rooms, friendly hospitality, and a truly homely feel - I really enjoyed my stay at Silver Cloud Hotel. The hotel was very clean, the location was nice for walking around, and the owner was extremely friendly , we even spent time chatting together on 31st December, which made the stay feel special. Honestly, there was nothing significant to dislike. Everything was comfortable and pleasant during my stay.

- Sweta (10/5): Exceptional - The room was really clean and spacious and the staff were gracious and polite.
- Jamjomm (9/5): Superb -
- Kwame (9/5): Cherine and her staff were truly outstanding right from the moment we got to the hotel. When an unexpected issue arose w - The staff and owner (Cherine) were truly wonderful and went above and beyond to host us. It was a very personal experience, anticipating and catered to our needs at every turn. Nothing - everything was superb
- Aparna (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect.
The room was a little small but very well done. The bathroom had hot water.
The staff were really courteous and helpful.
Krishna in the restaurant needs a special mention as he took care that we get everything exactly how we requested it .
- Pasi (10/5): Visiting in Bhutan - The location of the hotel is excellent; between the airport and Tiger's Nest.
Room is spacious. WiFi is fast.
Breakfast and food generally is very good.
The hotel organized transportation to Tiger's Nest, hot stone bath and the airport.
The guide for visiting in Tiger's Nest was from the hotel.
Excellent, friendly staff.
- András (9/5): Superb - I had a wonderful stay at the Silver Cloud Hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal—it was only a 10-minute drive from Tiger's Nest, where we planned to hike the next day. Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location, we were able to enjoy a sit-down breakfast at 7 a.m. and still make it to the hike in great time. For those who prefer an early start, they also offer a packed breakfast option. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well, with a good variety to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend the Silver Cloud Hotel for anyone visiting the area—it truly made our trip memorable! N/A
- Akshay (9/5): A delight at Paro - Had an absolutely delightful stay at this Hotel. The staff were amazing and did all they could to ensure we were comfortable.
Their Cafe (located adjacent to the Hotel) was where I spent most evenings after a day out at Paro. They made their coffee perfectly and had an assortment of treats from pancakes to waffles as accompaniments.
Much recommended for anyone visiting Paro. Nothing that I didn't...but this location is closer to the route to Tigers Nest and not in Paro town centre. But we loved it especially because it was away from the bustle...and there is a general store located on the property in case you need supplies.
However, do remember that Credit Cards are not accepted easily in Bhutan. This is true for all locations..not just here..so do keep Cash (or a charge card) handy.
- Biswajitc (8/5): Good value for money and excellent service - Staff and owner/management - provided excellent service
food - good taste
cultural show Bathroom needs few fittings
- Jennifer (9/5): Very enjoyable - It is about 5 minutes drive from the walk to the Tiger’s Nest. The bathroom has no hooks to hang clothings and towels
- Ronald (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kanchanatetee (8/5): Good hotel - If you plan to go to the Mountain, this place is perfect. It locates in between mountain (only 10 minutes) and the city (only 20 minutes). I found a cockroach in my room.
- Garima (10/5): Calm and comfortable - Nestled in a peaceful space, 15 mins drive from the tiger’s nest monastery and 15 mins drive from city centre. New hotel
With modern amenities, staff are extremely polite and welcoming and helped us out in every possible way. Our kid got sick after returning from the monastery due to altitude sickness and they came out to assist us in every possible way. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): Silver Cloud Hotel Wins The Gold Medal - This hotel is an exceptional value. It was clean, quiet, and everything was functional and orderly. Since the moment we entered the hotel and were greeting with a traditional drink, the owner and staff were more than attentive and accommodating. They helped us with everything: driving us to where we needed to go, helping plan activities, booking hotels in other cities, getting reservations at hot stone baths and more. The food was good and the coffee was also quite good. In all, we couldn't have asked for anything more. There was nothing more we could have asked for. It was near perfection.
- Mariia (7/5): Good - The hotel is nicely located closer to the Tiger nest and it’s easy to wake up early morning to get their faster, breakfast is amazing, stuff is very nice and polite, big rooms that have heater and mosquito repellants Cards are not accepted, a bit of moldy smell in the bathroom, room wasn’t cleaned for the whole stay, including taking out garbage and adding more toilette paper (at least those 2 can be done every day as it’s not our house and we don’t know garbage disposal policy in the country)
- Unnikrishnan (7/5): A decent hotel for a few nights. - Decent hotel Staff seems untrained
- Swati (10/5): Fantastic - The Host, Mr. Karma was exceptionally supportive. He is a good host in true terms. not only did he educate us about Bhutan and the nuances around it but also he helped us get around the town. He was extremely responsive to solve any query and treated us like family. He motivated us to go for the trek and guess what we completed it too. I would recommend staying at his property and also interacting with him. :) I believe the food could have been better in taste. But this is a general problem we faced throughout Bhutan.
- Sudesh (9/5): Very Good Family Hotel - Everything The season we went gave a lot of tiny insects which made things bad specially in the evenings
- Vineel (9/5): Superb - I recently stayed at the Silver Cloud Hotel in Paro, Bhutan, for 4 nights, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel was extremely neat and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment throughout my stay.
The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I need to make a special mention of the Hotel Manager, Karma Tsheten. He went above and beyond in helping me plan my itinerary in Bhutan, even beyond Paro. Karma truly cares about the tourists, ensuring their safety and comfort. He is the go-to person for any tour planning or travel-related questions within Bhutan.
The breakfast at Silver Cloud is something not to be missed. It is delicious and offers a variety of dishes, making every morning delightful.
Overall, my stay at Silver Cloud Hotel was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paro.
- Alesia (10/5): Very good stay at Paro - Very clean and comfortable hotel, big nice room, comfortable beds and pillows, friendly and helpful staff (always ready to help), great breakfast, good client approach, welcome drinks. Thanks for hosting us
- Lawrencehon (10/5): Exceptional - Solid 3 star hotel near the Tiger's Nest, located about 10 minutes drive from Paro town. Staff itself really make the place, welcoming me, helping me with all my specific and whimsical needs (e.g. mailing postcards, serving drinks late at night, finding power adapters, etc). There is a restaurant and a coffee shop located on premises, which is comforting and convenient. The rooms are normal but comfortable, neither luxurious nor basic. Price is average, mid-range as well. 10 minutes from town. You need to get a taxi, but the staff can help with this.
- Sandhya (10/5): I will most highly recommend. Book without hesitation. Everyone has been extremely kind and most helpful. Could not have - Attention to detail, amazing staff, superb hospitality, everything was just fabulous
- Venkataramanareddy (10/5): Awesome experience - My recent stay in Bhutan, Paro, was absolutely delightful, and I owe it all to Mr. Karma Ji. His unmatched hospitality made me feel truly welcomed. He expertly guided me through the local attractions and went the extra mile to help arrange transportation and secure a knowledgeable guide for my adventures. His valuable suggestions made my experience all the more enriching, ensuring I didn't miss out on any of the hidden gems of Bhutan. What touched me the most was his personal care; he took time to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment of my stay. I'm more than happy to recommend this experience to others looking for a memorable trip.
