Guest Reviews
- Кайрат (10/5): -
- Octavian M (10/5): Friendly, great location, good food - Loved the location, the deluxe room, large windows and nice balcony. They have a nice roof top terrace with a view to Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque. The managers are really nice and helpful, both the hotel and restaurant. Maybe some fine touches needed in the rooms but overall experience was great for a 3night stay and long walks. Not having an elevator may be difficult for older people or very picky guests. It was not a problem i have, anywhere i travel.
- Sameer Ahmad (2/5): Waste of Money for nothing . - Nothing is to be liked . This is not a hotel , it is just a six rooms lodge . Simple with nothing to be like a hotel . One standard breakfast for all days without any change , no food available , only preference for the restaurant clients .
- Olga (10/5): - Завтрак и вид Шумный ресторан на верхнем этаже
- Sorin (10/5): -
- Haroon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fabiana (8/5): Very good - Very well located, room was clean, towels changed every day. Friendly staff. The view at the terrace is beautiful! The breakfast times, think it should be earlier than 9.30 am. The second day, we had to pass it.
- Annemari (10/5): Beautiful. Comfortable. Friendly. Pleasantly surprised by this stunning gem! - Free upgrade to a deluxe room by the very friendly host. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Centrally located, 5 min walk to bus stop and Blue and Hagia Sophia mosques. Such friendly staff! Beautiful roof top terrace and delicious food from on-site restaurant. Nothing. It was a great stay!
- Graziella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniela (8/5): Comfortable. - The location was great. The breakfast was good, however the breakfast staff could be more friendly and servicial. Couldn’t close some windows of the room, so at night it was really cold, however the owner offered me a heater.
- Bartosz (6/5): Pleasant -

- Nadia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heba (1/5): It was terrible. Do not recommend this property at all as the host was very hostile and there is no 4 star system in pla - The location was good, and so was the female cleaner who cleaned. The staff
- Decu (8/5): Good experience. Worth it! - The position is Fantastic. At 50m to Blue Mosque, 100 m to Hagia Sofia, 150m to Basilica Cisterna, 150 to tram station, 30m to a small bazar. 100 restaurants or more in the area. Cheap parking The rooftop restaurant deranges after 23.00, till closing. No other bad things.
- Aiysha (5/5): Nice location but improvements to be made - The property was in good location The safety deposit box was not working and this didn’t concern the staff, felt very unsafe carrying my valuables around
Slow internet
Lights not working
Bathroom light flashing and being a pain
- Kaydon (10/5): Great location. Nice hotel with nice room - Nice location. Good little cute hotel. Right next to Hagia Sophia. Great views from terrace. High recommendation .
- Sallehen (9/5): Superb - Very Near blue mosque.near ayasofya.near topkapi. No lift
- Adilovic (1/5): 🫤 - Location is very good.
The room itself is just like on pictures. The owner is trying to make it good, but lots of things are not right. It's not hotel it's hostel. It has 6 rooms on 3 floors. Very bad soundproof. Terrace is not this one on photos, but the one in background with roof. Very disapointed with that. Towels, bedding did not smell on clear. There is no room cleaning, the first day owner apologized to us and says that houskeeper didn't come today. We says that we need new towels and he is bring them. They was a smell on something musty... Second day he did not mention houskeeper, and we think that our room is cleane, but unfortunately she did not come second day eather. On the fourth day we complaind because room must be cleaned. He says that houskeeper come today and she was not able to clean our room beacuse we didn't been in room. I don't know in witch hotel ih guests are in room when room is cleaning? We are out about 2 hours and when we come back he says that the room is clean now. What about that she did not come to room when guests aren't in the room?
There is no lift.
Breakfast is on plate that waiter will bring to you. Some cheese, 1 egg, 2 slices of tomatto, 2 slices of salami, and bread that first day was reheated from the previous day. Honey, jam and butter. All that with turkish cay.
And it is always the same.
- Ivana (10/5): Exceptional - The staff at the Seven dreams hotel were fantastic. Great attitude, helpful and always available. Room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Location is great and it’s definitely great value for money.
- H&p (9/5): Great location . Delicious breakfast . Friendly staff . - The location was excellent , was near to the Top attraction like Blue Mosque , Topkapi Palace , Hagia Sophia.
The breakfast was delicious and value for the money
The hotel was near the Eminonu , which is the place to take the boat for a ride in Bosforus . Nothing , everything was great , the location and the room of the hotel and the staff was frendly .
- Alejandra (10/5): It was a great stay :) - The location is fantastic, with wonderful places to discover, endless walks in the surrounding area, and countless restaurant options just a short distance away. I don't want to forget to mention the restaurant on the ground floor and the hotel terrace—excellent service at both. The attention from each member of the hotel staff is great; everyone is very kind and does their best to make our stay fantastic. We requested the room with a jacuzzi, but unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of it due to lack of time. The staircase but we know is Istanbul and if you want to be in a traditional place is part of this ;)
- Emma (3/5): Poor - Staff were very good and helpful. The curtains are I'll fitting and you can't darken the room to sleep. Light comes in from all around and the noise from the street is very disturbing. The air-conditioning also makes a terrible noise. Bed sheets did not fit the bed, and there was only a bottom sheet, no top sheet and a very small scatchy top cotton blanket. We did not sleep at all. Very uncomfortable and not clean.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Narimen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taleah (10/5): The staff were very helpful and we truly appreciated their generosity and kindness. - Loved the location and the friendly staff. The stairs were a bit difficult but it is understandable.

- Larissa (6/5): Pleasant - The position of the hotel is very central, all the must-have sights are close by and the restaurant under the hotel as well as the terrace with beautiful view are very nice! The communication between the staff could be more professional in favor of the guests.
- Gianluca (1/5): Bad -
- Arfaan (10/5): AMAZING - 10/10 - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - What an amazing few nights at this beautiful hotel. The room was 10/10. Luxury style with amazing details to the finish in the room. The staff where amazing and very honest and friendly. They went above and beyond to another level.
Treated us like family. Highly highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again when i come back to turkey.
Thank you for a smooth and pleasant stay.
Happy with everything they offered - not able to fault anything at all. A+++++
- Mohammed (1/5): It’s unsafe and staff is rude & horrible - It’s horrible, so many bad bugs around and it’s run by three brothers which really not nice people.. I will not recommend to anyone and especially family… it’s not safe Let’s start with common hello, which they are very rude and nasty people, bed was a mess, round patches marks on the bed sheet.. yellow piss spots and smells like local toilet… we had to leave next morning and look for new hotel but everywhere was fully booked… it was horrible experience I would really suggest not to book anymore…
There is no hot water for shower… bathroom looks great but shower was broken and no warm water, you have use kettle for warm water… water was bit yellow & green from the taps…
- Nabil (9/5): Superb - Location and staff Little expensive
- Pedro (7/5): Bad service - The hotel is centrally located I highly recommend NOT to stay here. I had one of the worst & scariest experiences of my life, there was an incident with Mustafa, he is one of the managers of the hotel, my sister and I almost ended up losing our flights back to Mexico because he offered a "trusted taxi service", so he ordered a taxi for us to get to the airport, and he asked us to pay in advance which it was weird to me, but I trusted him, and we paid him in advance. He said it was a trusted cab and, that's why, it was expensive. The cab arrived in the morning to pick us up, I thought the price and payment was already settled because we end up paying a lot of money to Mustafa, but the taxi driver wanted more money, and we noticed he was taking us through a wrong way, we confronted him about it, and he said it was because the "free highway was blocked" and he had to take the toll road but honestly I didn't see any blockage, he asked us for more money, we told him we paid Mustafa already and that it wasn't fair he increased out of nowhere the price, he was getting mad and threatened us with leaving us in the middle of the highway to lose our flight if we didn't pay the extra money he was asking, we told him we wouldn't give him more money, he stopped the car for 20 minutes, and he was calling someone by the phone. It appears that his intention was to make us lose our flight. He ignored us while we were almost begging him to take us to the airport, because we were already late for our flights, he was wasting our time on purpose, he told us he would take us only if we pay extra 1800 Turkish liras. We were scared because he was getting violent. We decided to go out of the car and try to take another cab, but he didn't want to open the trunk, and all our suitcases were in his trunk, until I told him we would call the police, he opened the trunk.
- Noor (7/5): Totally good experience! - Location is excellent! Walking distance to blue mosque, Sophia hagie and the prophets museum. Boutique hotel does not have a lift and very narrow stairs to go to rooms. Hard to climb even with hand carry only.
Breakfast was not organized properly. When we went to the restaurant for breakfast they said chef is not there so breakfast is not available.
Breakfast was provided at 10.30 pm.
The hotel locks the main door at midnight so you have to be in by that time.
- Ahmed (10/5): Excellent - Everything was perfect. Very cooperative staff and owner was very nice.
- Faisal (10/5): Had a beautifull experience. Amazing breakfast view. The clean our room daily staff is very friendly offer us tea all th - The Location is very beautiful breakfast view is really really amazing both Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque is just less than 2 minutes walk.
- Aiza (9/5): really nice stay, beautiful view - the view was amazing, the staff was freindly & the property was clean and good.
- Fernando (8/5): Very good -
- Abdukakhkhor (5/5): Passable -
- Mildred (10/5): Exceptional - LOCATION was perfect. The hotel is literally in the backyard of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia and short walking distance to almost everything you want to do in Istanbul. The staff were friendly and they treated you like part of the family. The hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are big, new and fancy.
The view from the terrace is unbelievable, and you even get breakfast included. I wish I could stay longer. All good 👍
- Birtukan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nanette (10/5): Phenomenal hotel. The location, staff, food, the hospitality is top-notch! Will def stay there again - I stayed for 6 nights and I loved everything about this hotel! The owner Esrin and his staff go above and beyond to help their guests and to make sure that we are comfortable. The breakfast was phenomenal too. The lady who cleans and cooks (I forgot her name but I believe it starts with an “A”) was the most kind person!! She would even pull out her phone to translate when I did not understand some Turkish. So sweet! The room was super clean and the view from the terrace upstairs is the best! Seven Hills restaurant is famous for their terrace, but I prefer the one at Seven Dreams because it has a roof and you don’t have to worry about getting pooped on by birds! The location and the price cannot be beat. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat! I was legit sad when it was time to checkout. Nothing. Everything was phenomenal. I was sad to leave!
- Radu (8/5): Very good -
- Jenni (10/5): Perfect piece of paradise - Everything about Seven Dreams was perfect. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. A good variety of flavours. The location was superb. Very close to major attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. They were always willing to help or guide us in the right direction. Beds were comfortable and rooms were modern with a Turkish feel. I would definitely return. Best Hot chocolate so far. Loved every minute of our stay.. Nothing. Although the stairs would be a problem for less able bodied people.
- Péter (10/5): Exceptional - It was the same that is written in the text. its situated close to the best places you can reach the famous places by walk. Rooms are clean and has nice furnitures. Boss is very kind. Panorama is unbeliveable from the terrace. It was the best choice for us.
- Nel (6/5): Will only recommend for great location. - The room was as per the photos
The location is great! Nice rooftop restaurant. The hotel is run by the restaurant below so when you arrive at the hotel there's no one at reception. There are spiral stairs leading to the rooms with no elevator. We were at the top level and it was a bit difficult to carry 3 large suitcases up the stairs. It's also very noisy at night with guests walking up and down the stairs to visit the rooftop restaurant. The owner also accused us of not paying and said we were trying to avoid them. We paid before our arrival and he couldn't check with us first as to what was going on but immediately made accusations. The bathrooms are also not private at all.
- Judit (10/5): Exceptional - I would wholeheartedly recommend Seven Dreams Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. It is located very close to Hagia Sofia, so most of the sightseeing spots are neirby even by walk. The rooms are nice, clean and tidy, absolutely comfortable for 2 persons. They have a restaurant on the ground floor, but also on the terrace with amazing view to Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and the sea. The breakfast looks delicious and served decoratively. For me and my girlfriend it was the perfect amount. The owner and the staff were very helpful if we had any questions. I also recommend to try the shisha - ask for the owner's special mix! If I'll ever go back, I'll book my stay here 10/10.
- Tom (10/5): fantastisch - clean, beautiful, super location
- Anonymous (10/5): unbelievably awesome - Our hotel was so perfect. The terasse is wonderful.Panorama the view of the mosques is amazing. It is two minutes to the mosque and Topkapi. The staff is very nice. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. If I visit Istanbul again, I will visit this hotel.
- Keirin (9/5): Superb - Hello, the location was perfect, the terrace incredible, and I really enjoy the bed! That I needed to pay with cash.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Antonio (10/5): What to say? Wow! - Hotel located in a fantastic location just a few meters from Sultanahmet square. Featuring a terrace with stunning views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia as well as the Bosphorus. The room was as described, clean and tidy. The structure also has a restaurant that prepares tasty dishes. Always very friendly staff and in particular Musa who was always very kind to satisfy our requests and do his utmost to book tours and shuttles for transport. A big family that made us feel welcome.
We will be back!
- Patrina (8/5): Great place to stay - I got to the hotel mins to 3am due to delayed and cancelled flights but Musa was extremely patient he came out in the rain to find me when I got lost trying to find the hotel, they even upgraded my room! As a sole traveller to Istanbul that was extremely reassuring. They were very helpful and kind during my stay. You could not get a better location, it was literally a min from the iconic Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia and a stones throw to many other areas of interests. Highly recommend this place.
- Leonardo (5/5): Lack of maintenance and very poor breakfast - Location is quite nice Hotel requires a lot of maintenance, the cleanliness is poor, the breakfast is very poor, with no options, not even orange juice. I do not recommend this accommodation.
- Ammar (5/5): hotel’s location is okay, but I’m not prefer to stay this hotel because too small, they said the door will close after 1 - just the location room, staff, services
- Ramazan (10/5): Thanks much to Seven Dreams Hotel! It was really wonderful 2 weeks vacation! Great location and awesome stuff made this - We liked literally everything. Amazing people and great service made our vacation unforgettable.
- Dinkush (7/5): Good hotel with great location and rooftop view. - Location of the hotel is so convinient, all the most visited sightseeings of the city is in walikng distance. Turkish breakfast that is served in the hotel is good, beds are comfortable. One this that attracted me is the ponaramic view from the hotel's roof top restaurant where you can have breakfasts and in general can order dinner, lunch and so on. The room was really cold when we arrived (January), but hotel personnel bring portable electric heater, and it helped a lot.
Another thing is that on pictures it looked nice and clean, but in reality the carpets were dirty, and it is needed some cosmetic repair for room, bathroom was really cold, and after shower it felt even more.
- Hafiz (5/5): Passable -
- Muhammad (9/5): It was good and pleasant. - Location is superb Over priced restursnt.
- Aa'ishah (4/5): Disappointing - Location and view from terrace is great! Hotel arranged transportation from SAW international. Upon entering our room it smelt like sewage. The carpet under the bed was clearly stained and dirty. The shower was moldy and the bathroom smelt like urine. The teaspoon I wanted to use was sticky (probably not washed). The mattress was horrible. I sank right into the dent. Room was very cold even tho the windows were closed. We struggled to get the heat right. Cleaning services basically just pulled the covers over the bed ( bed not neatly made) . The towels were old , torn and hard. Breakfast could be way better for the price we paid to stay.
- Kayleah (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was great, they were always more than welcoming and helped us anyway they could.
- Syed (7/5): okay value for money - the location there was no service .. the cleanliness was bad .. no napkins no water .. stinky and dirty bathroom
- Ilirjan (1/5): Bad -
- Aziz (4/5): Disappointing -
- Wini (9/5): the hospitality showed by the staff is marvellous. I’m a bit regret to move to other hotel which I didn’t find the same - The friendliness of the staff, and the location and roof terrace. The old furniture.
- Tshilidzi (7/5): beautiful stay in TÜRKIYE - kind staff
close to amenities
beautiful rooftop The bed was so low
The bathroom not properly cleaned
the stairs
- Florin (8/5): Very good - Great staff
Always ask for Ali at the restaurant, his very careful with you and a very nice guy
- Tamara (9/5): Good value for money. Excellent location for sightseeing. - Excellent location, walking distance to many sightseeings. Big spacious room, balcony. Good breakfast in a restaurant with magnificent view to Hagia Sophia and the Marmara Sea. Helpful staff who brought us a heater when it was cold and a chair. Good value for money! It was some smell in the room from sewage. Very steep stairs.
- Ana (9/5): Superb -
- Emil (2/5): I advise people not to stay at this hotel. Hygiene is quite low, dirty and uncleaned rooms from the previous guests. The - Only location is good, everything else is tragically bad. Nothing! Not clean at all. There is no personal at the reception desk.
- Tanjil (8/5): Very good -
- Adeel (4/5): Disappointing -
- Joseph (7/5): I thought it was a big hotel with top notch facilities but it turns out to be a restaurant with six rooms. What it lacke - it’s location and the views-Hagia Sophia on your right and the Blue Mosque on your left. I could stay in the restaurant for hours enjoying these views and that of the Bosphorus No lifts, no great views from the rooms, furniture a bit worn out and could be noisy at night. TV was not working during my two night stay
- David (9/5): Superb - Great little hotel near the Hippodrome Plaza and Hagia Sophia and the Bluwe Mosque and the palace - anear the center of most of the Istanbul attractions. The rooftop terrace waas great for the standard Turkish Hotel Breakfast. Stafrf was friendly and conversent in English. They were helpful in many ways.
- Andy (1/5): Hotel is nothing like advertised - The only thing good about this hotel is the location. The pictures did not match the room. The shower is in the room and not separate. The doors, carpet, bed were all in great disrepair. There is no housekeeping during your stay, even upon request. Anything that needs to be replenished must be requested especially for longer stays since there is no housekeeping. Staff is often not present, which is a problem for checking in and asking for room amenities. Expect high chance of cold water, their hot water is always breaking according to the staff.
- Natalia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - the staff are very kind
- Asmira (7/5): Extremely helpful staff, superb location - Excellent location, breakfast OK, clean room, staff extremely helpful and polite
- Akhrarov (7/5): Good -
- Muhammad (1/5): Bad - The hotel located near blue mosque and ASofiya mosque Beds are not comfortable room are clean but very expensive other then hotel near that places food is not too much tasty average location is fine and prices of food are too much high not friendly staff expect one person there
- Anton (7/5): It was awesome, we loved it. - Had a great time here. The bed was not comfortable I have to say, but as far as location is concerned, you can't go wrong. And really nice, fun, staff. Its great value just for it's location alone. You should pay about 320 TL for a cab ride from the airport :) The bed needs help, and there is no door in the bathroom, so you may need to send your partner for a walk every once in a while ;)
- Inga (9/5): Superb - Small hotel with excellent location.
Nice view from the terrace and very friendly staff.
I recommend it.
- Abdelmounaam (8/5): Great for value, would recommend greatly - Great location, calm neighborhood.
terrace view is fabulous with both aya sofia and blue mosque visible.
We arrived early at 8am and since our room was ready they were kind enough to offer us early check-in for free. Curtains where white and did not block the sun the morninh.
