• Jenny (1/5): - Nothing DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. SCAM. Got to the address and the place doesn't exist. This is a scam. People arrived while we were at the gate and seemed dodgy. Think these people were the scammers. They drive a black suv. REFUND PLEASE.

• Guest (1/5): No one can stay In a place where there is nothing, not even a building, this is a scam - There is no stay named as Prout retreat, this is just a scam There was nothing on that location to be liked, it's just a scam someone is trying to make money from people who look for cheap n last minute stay, careful to read review before you book

• Allan (1/5): Absolute UTTER Garbage. SCAM!! - Absolutely nothing it genuinely bad The location is hidden away horrible for women who are travelling alone... No WiFi You will not be able to contact the owners if the property even has owners. Its a scam from somebody that is literally raking in money. For the live of God don't book this place If you looking for a good motel. The main house doesn't have a bed and the other *bed* is only a mattress with no blankets.... The *villa* is a granny flat with a dirty couch and a bed. I honestly didn't actually believe it. I genuinely couldn't and it cost me $200... Holy F*** . We live and we learn.
• Abby (1/5): SCAMMING SCUM - I didn't even get a chance to see the state of the dwelling. The yard looking like a junk yard was very off putting.. then come to realise the place was a scam. Which then made my anxiety shoot through the roof. Scary place at night with no directions and no one to help you.

No on - Do not stay here Property cancelled my stay the day after payment went through. This was the day before I was due to stay with them. No refund given even though it was the property that canceled my stay. Automated message sent giving directions to the property and another hoping I had enjoyed my stay when I had to find emergency accommodation elsewhere. After constant attempts to contact them, there has been no response. Extremely stressful

Finding the place and when I did. I got a message say that the the place wasn't available. I couldn't call anyone. It's all a lie. I'm still waiting for my refund from this booking.

Basically you drive into a tip - Especially Dangerous for females travelling alone - safety is a huge concern! THERE WAS NOTHING TO LIKE! Driving up a long drive past junk yard only to end up at a complete junk yard / tip with garbage everywhere and not so friendly people who looked like j u n k I e s! Do not stay !!! This is a scam hotel and booking . Com should take it down immediately!!!

Size of unit & fixtures are good A number of inclusions listed on the site aren't available including, but not limited to, coffee maker, mini-mart & breakfast. After querying breakfast was advised it could be arranged at a price even though booking site indicates it's included in the cost Bed was way too soft Toilet door didn't shut Unit opposite looked straight into our unit

• Mears (5/5): Adequate for a last minute dog stay. But far too expensive for what was there. - (No breakfast provided.) Everything was relatively new, clean neat and tidy. There was air -con. There was a large fridge and a stove. The proprietor was friendly. There were wallabies and bush birds.It was dog friendly.The proprietor had placed solar Christmas lights so you could negotiate the twists and turns of the bush road in and out. The main bedroom had a mattress that went down in the middle. The shower doors both would be difficult for anyone not thin, as they did not open far. The bathroom had no hand wash soap shower gel or hair washing materials. Very thin towels.The ambiance, though in bush( nice) was being surrounded by derelict trucks and other vans and scrap metal, unoccupied houses on wooden piles , and unmade tracks. We did not have privacy from the couple opposite our door in a caravan!

• Y (1/5): The First Time and Disappointment Reservation with Booking.com - The seller replied to request very quickly, sfter they get the payment of accommodation booking. Whilst the seller won't reply if the customet could not find the location and contacted the seller again. The first page of booking which had the price didn't show the price was unrefundable, which misled customer continued the booking, when I was in a rush to find an accommodation before mobile phone's battery ran out. When I tried to finalise the booking through Google searching, the system required me to register an account. But the system kept telling me it could not go through and I needed try again, meanwhile the payment has been made and there was no notification of the payment nor the accommodation booking was successful. After I found it out by receiving email from the seller, I had to continue with going to the accomodation since the payment was made. The seller didn't reply when I was around the location and couldn't find it. I couldn't live in this accommodation and had to find another accommodation before my mobile phone ran out of battery. The seller didn't answer my phone call nor reply to my email after I requested a refund the next day and claimed to Booking.com that they contacted me that night which they didn't. I wouldn't consider this accommodation again. This is the first time that I booked accommodation through Booking.com, which was disappointing.
• Julie (6/5): Pleasant - Quiet and secluded, facilities were adequate. Shower pressure was amazing. Toilet Wasn't clean, room was hard to find, check in details not emailed. Tv in lounge didn't have free to air. Neighbours too close and outside smelt like doggy doo. Sand through room and on bed, Bathroom small, access to toot and shower not easy..would be amazing if the unit was alone with the outdoor area and information emailed or text on where it was and how to get too.and maybe before main houses. A bit Expensive to be located where it was and amongst all the junk lying around.

• Jean (3/5): Most likely would not choose to stay there again. - Breakfast was not provided, however, in saying that, we left at 5.30am before we had the option of finding out whether it was in fact available. There was a wet patch on the bed presumably from the storm earlier that evening. Below the vent/heater. The side light at the bed had no power to it. The power points on the "main house" side of the accommodation had no power. eg the microwave didn't work There was no signage relating to the accommodation at the roadside entrance and the signage that was displayed suggested that "people" should stay away and not enter the property. Then to make it all worse, I was charged for 3 nights instead of 1. I don't know who is at fault but I am corresponding with Booking.com to sort that out.
• Brian (5/5): Make sure you know where to go. - Beautiful bush setting with campfires and pleasant walks. The "unit" was clean. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Nice and quiet. Rustic. Very hard to locate the property as it isn't signposted from the road. Very long drive through bush, old vehicles and recycled houses. Lots of signs saying you are "On Camera", "Private Property", "Danger" and "Keep Out". Not easy to find as there is nothing to indicate Prout Road Retreat at all. There are old vehicles and piles of building materials all over the place. Expensive for what you get.
• Bunny (3/5): What if leatherface decided to start a retreat? - I personally liked the Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibes because I’m a horror fan but you probably won’t. My date didn’t lol Staff rude, signage poor, just a donga with the loudest air con imaginable
• Peter (5/5): A very nice person managing this, but not a place I would recommend. - Very nice person that greeted me and showed me around. The place the building was housed within was like a junkyard. Very disconcerting and did not feel like a place I would go if if I was concerned about safety. It's at the end of a long dirt driveway that was littered with buildings and machinery.

• Rhi (9/5): Lovely place to stay & relaxed atmosphere - thanks. - Beautiful surroundings - peaceful & serene. The cabin is lovely & well designed/ set up & very comfortable beds. Mal & Caleb were very welcoming & we had access to a fire & pool table. Will definitely stay again :-)
