I also appreciate how responsive the host was no matter the time we contacted her for assistance. The place really looks exactly as how it is posted and you get value for your money. The place give you a wonderful warm cozy experience. I loved how the neighbourhood was quiet and safe. The mall is just a few meters away and we weren't short of anything. I would highly recommend this place and I would lost certainly come back again.

The place was super clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. We only stayed a night, but we could easily stay longer. There is nothing I can say I didn't like. Sheets were not changed even though they said they would, we even left for 2 hours in the morning and again in the afternoon yet they still weren't changed.
- Dylan (10/5): Really the best ! - This is my best in Randburg. It has everything needed and is good value for the price point. The bed is comfy and the kitchen very very useable. There isn't any excess space but for one person, this kind of efficiency is wonderful. There is a little outdoor sitting area and the host is generally quite responsive and accommodating via WhatsApp.

The apartment is super clean, everything smells good, there's no stain anywhere. I loved it. Sad that I can't give it a 1000 rating. It rates way above 10

- Dylan (10/5): Great little place in wonderful locale - What a great place to stay in Northern Suburbs. So clean, quiet and lovely... A perfect little bachelor.. Even with cooking abilities and a space to sit outdoors. Hosts were great although I was mostly happy to be on my own.

The place is not insulated enough and it was like a sauna inside it. The outside air was cooler than the inside of the apartment. Did not sleep a wink due to the heat

- Spw (5/5): A big disappointment! - Not really much When I arrived at the location, there were no electricity; no back-up generator , no TV to watch I could not read, or charge my phone's battery. . .could not heat & eat the supper I had with me... etc. I feel upset that Side Step did not inform me about the power outage before hand... It could have given me the chance to get other accommodation.

- Lebo (10/5): I got some much needed rest at Side Step! - I stayed at Side Step for 7 nights- something that can be a bit anxiety inducing for any host but Side Step rose brilliantly to the occasion. I had gone there to get some much needed rest and a place where I could unplug, and that is exactly what I got. The place is comfortable. Since it’s winter the electric blanket and heater provided in the room were perfect. The unit is cute with a well appointed kitchenette, complete with an airfryer. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host was wonderful too! Thank you Tumi and the team for giving me exactly what I needed- a home away from home. Absolutely nothing. Everything was great.

- Francois (8/5): Cheap and comfortable stay in Randburg - Very affordable and comfortable room to stay if you need to stay over in Randburg. Well equipped kitchenette and bathroom clean and very functionable. Close to shops and easily accessible. Communication with hosts good. Room is small and only suitable for a sleep-over. Surroundings not very attractive, but that does not really matter when you only need a bed to sleep in and a decent bathroom.

It felt like the owners really cared to give their guests a great experience during their stay. The room exceeded my expectations and the owner was very good on communicating with us when there were any potential issues and keeping us updated(we had load shedding that lasted longer than expected) I honestly can't think of anything that I didn't like. Everything was great.
