• Shlomit (10/5): - The house itself is lovely, and Katoomba is a wonderful place to stay. The property truly feels like a home away from home, comfortable, welcoming, and well-equipped. The garden and surrounding trees are especially beautiful and add to the peaceful atmosphere. We only wish we had booked a full week instead of just a long weekend, it was hard to leave. We really loved the place overall, there were a few things that were less convenient for us: The house is accessed via three flights of stairs, so it’s best to pack light. I’d also recommend arriving before dark, as the location was a bit tricky to find at night. Luckily, the neighbors were very friendly and helped us both locate the apartment and figure out where to park. Restaurants are relatively close by, but the way is quite steep and dark, so we found ourselves driving most of the time.

Comfy beds and nice to have a bath after hiking, and coffee machine In places was not very clean and could do with some redecoration. Felt like staying in somebodys home rather than holiday rental. Dishwasher hadn't been emptied from last rental when we arrived.

• Nicole (9/5): Tidy house in a great location and very well suited to older family. - Great location, easy walk to town and/or train station. Very tidy and lots of space. Very easy process to get key and enjoyed that we were left to our own devices during the stay. Only one toilet and that was in with the shower which was a bit inconvenient. Also parking wasn't very accessible. But only minor points.

• Lisa (10/5): Wonderful, thank you - Felt like being in a treehouse! Such lovely surroundings Nothing not to like, other than it’s best to reverse in to park. ( minor detail that didn’t hamper our trip) just a heads up to future travellers.
• Michael (10/5): Perfect house in an spectacular landscape. - The house is in a great spot, surrounded by trees where you can spot Kakadus 😀 The house has three bedrooms and a spacious living room with a fireplace. Very good in the winter time. The house was very clean is perfectly equipped with everything. Thank you for that. We loved our stay and hopefully we can come back.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Leafy, quiet location. - Leafy, garden location, quiet and comfortable. Bed was especially comfy and the electric blanket was much appreciated. Kitchen well equipped. The cold, wet weather was disappointing for us, as we only managed one bush walk.

• Björn (9/5): We enjoyed our stay! - Charming house on stilts with a nice atmosphere. Simple but well equipped kitchen. Close to nature with a nice view. No dedicated parking. Missed some chairs to sit on the narrow deck around the house.
• Natalie (10/5): Plenty of space for everyone in this centrally located treetops escape. - Amazing location, clean space with a fully equipped kitchen. Close enough to walk into town and from the train station but far enough away to feel like a proper escape. First Aid kit was missing quite a bit. Would be ideal to have this checked after each visit.

Good information about the area, eg shops & attractions. The few pantry items were an added bonus, oil, seasonings, tea, coffee. Much appreciated. Nothing.
• Chris (6/5): Once we were in, we had a nice stay. We really loved starting the wood fire and enjoying a glass - Great location, just a short stroll to the main street of Katoomba. Lovely quiet area, where the house almost feels like it is set in the trees. P Unfortunately we had trouble with the keys to the house and had to call the hosts at 9pm at night to help get us in. The car parking is also difficult. Once inside, the house had everything expect an iron and ironing board.

• Bibiana (9/5): Conveniently-located yet quiet, cosy, and comfortable house for our midwinter stay. - The location was very handy, being a lovely walk to Katoomba station and town, yet also felt like we were in the bush. The heating options were great - sometimes we used just the wood heater; though it was good to have the air conditioning as backup. Having heating in every room was lovely too. We liked the open plan living, dining and kitchen area, windows all around, and that the bathroom has a bathtub. For our family of 5, one bathroom was challenging - a sliding door separating the toilet and the bath/shower sink area would have made it more functional. While the blow heater in the bathroom was appreciated, it wasn't very effective - a combined exhaust/heater ceiling light would be an improvement.
