• Margaret (6/5): - The bed was comfortable. Added extras like tissues toiletries were beneficial. The carpet was badly stained. The were spiders and webs in the bathroom. Stains on the bench. Dust on bedside tables.
• joe (7/5): - Room was spacious , bed was reasonably comfortable. airconn worked well check-in after 3pm , all other motels are 2pm . No a fan of self check-in , arrived at 2.50pm & waited until 3.15pm & still no message with the code access for the key . Rang the advertised number & went to message bank . About 30 seconds after leaving a message received a text with the code . I wonder what sort of support we would get if there was something wrong . Room was very dated, carpet badly stained . It was expensive compared to motels in other towns nearby but there aren't too many options in Dorrigo
• May (7/5): Basic - In the heart of Dorrigo The showers stalls were a bit moldy around the edges The reception was a call in, and the person at the other end of the line dint seem to know the caretaker lived on site.

• Mason (8/5): Comfort in the heart of town. - The location of the motel is great. The pub, the iga, and the coffee shop are just a stones throw away. It has great access to Dorrigo National Park if you're heading up to hike? The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, and steve, the caretaker, is awesome! He was very helpful, and he has a tonne of local knowledge about the area if you need to know anything. Nothing at all. I had a great stay.

• Odette (8/5): As it was a stopover on our trip the room was quite adequate. - Location was excellent - right in the middle of town. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in. The room was very clean. The motel is quite dated and the bathroom desperately needs updating - no powerpoints and the handbasin is like one you'd find in a powderroom. No where to put things.

• Hall (3/5): - TV. Bed was comfortable Sink leaked. Sockets in dresser didn't work. Dresser cupboard was very smelly. Toaster arm was broken. Sink was ridiculously small. Shower controls had a hole through the wall. You couldn't fill the kettle or wash cups. Gaps around door meant you could smell smoke from people smoking outside.

• Vandermaats (8/5): A very comfortable stay in a room that was big enough for two. - A comfortable room with all that is required for an overnights stay -- microwave, tea/coffee, cookies TV was good - bathroom clean and fresh towels - whilst check-in was "remote" we needed to contact someone about an issue (not related to the room) and they were easily contacted and helpful --- THANKS Some dead bugs at the base of the bed took the shine off the room -- nothing too drastic that a focused clean won't fix.

• Tamis (8/5): Spacious room with all your basic needs though a bit run down - Spacious room. Good location with a local supermarket and a bistro across the street. Dorrigo is the start of the road for all the nearby waterfalls and walking trails. A bit run down.

Good overnight stop over Tv didn’t work . Which didn’t bother us as we were out for tea . But be annoying if we were sitting there all night

• Tegan (8/5): Functional and clean motel room, good for a 1 or 2 night stay! - Functional motel room for the weekend, semi renovated. Comfy beds with air conditioning. Very thin walls so could hear every little movement by the neighbours. A little pricey for a basic country motel.

• Wayne (6/5): - Handy to town centre. Other guest smoking outside of their rooms and their smoke coming into our room even though our door was closed. Perhaps a designated smoking area away from other rooms would work better.
• Billington (2/5): Horrible ! - Not much - just the fact that the water in the dirty shower was at least hot. Where do i start. I dont ever right bad reviews but this one warrants a whinge. Dirty and not welcoming, dark and dingy, has not had a coat of paint, curtains were ripped. Bedspreads were ancient, grime all over the floor, dont walk in bare feet you could feel the dirt under your feet. I know its old, but cleanliness goes a long way. First of all got a message saying they had overbooked and the room i booked wasnt available. Next i checked in... no reception just a key left in a box with a code. Bedside light didnt work, i messaged the number that had contacted me to give check in details. A man did bring a light bulb around but - i had clearly interrupted his drinking afternoon (it was a Tuesday around 3pm ish) - overall horrible stay. I am just lucky it was only 2 nights and i wasnt in the room much. Oh yes, the front door was weather beaten and a huge gap under it - there was a dirty door snake lying there but it was ripped and dirty too. Only thing this place had going for it was the shower was nice and hot - well not nice .. but at least hot. Would definitely not stay again, thought for the price it was shocking.

• Chris (8/5): Great for travelers who want to stay in a secure location close to an hotel with award winning meals - Car is close to the door of the room and under a light. Security camera looking at cars and front doors. Opening windows and great air conditioning. Comfortable bed and good sized fridge. Location In town close to heritage pub for great meals. Surprisingly quite at night. Blockout blinds Great constant pressure hot water TV did not have netflix or similar streaming service.

• Peter (8/5): Good comfortable accommodation right in the heart of Dorrigo. - This motel had the most comfortable bed I slept in during my trip. It may not look much from the outside but the room was quite spacious and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The room had the smallest vanity basin I have ever seen.
