Inside is very comfortable and well equipped and the outside area with the pool is also stunning. We stayed for 6 night and loved every minute of our stay including spotting the kangaroos on the track to the house! I one hundred percent recommend

• Lisa (10/5): Absolutely stunning and relaxing. - Stunning location overlooking the Backstairs Passage back to the mainland. Little Cuttlefish was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The pool was an added bonus. Great base to explore the vast island and very close to Penneshaw for the ferry from Cape Jervis and the excellent IGA supermarket which had everything we needed and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend Little Cuttlefish as a fabulous place to stay on KI. There are many things to explore on KI but Little Cuttlefish is such a space you may never want to leave there. Big thanks to Sabrina for all her fabulous tips on restaurants and sightseeing spots. Nothing. Our stay was fantastic.
• John (10/5): Outstanding property in an amazing location - Little Cuttlefish is a great property in an amazing setting. The property had all the amenities you would expect with a luxury house and the view is breath taking. We spent so much time watching the view, both from the property and the pool. The Kangaroos also clearly love the location. We saw 4-6 Kangaroos on the property every time we were leaving or returning in the car. We really enjoy watching wild life, so this was the “icing on the cake” as they say. The location being only 15 minutes from the ferry is also a big positive. Nothing to dislike.

• Scally (9/5): Fabulous property. - The location was fantastic and the views incredible. The house had everything needed to enjoy an extended stay and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the library which did not have window furnishings and while the view was amazing it was a bit bright in the mornings.

Uninterrupted ocean views, wildlife on your doorstep, comfy bed, well stocked bathroom and kitchen. The pool is sensational. A great house to enjoy a home cooked meal with local seafood and wines at sunset. Good base to get to Penneshaw for necessities/the Pub and out to explore KI. Dudley Wines right next door. • Bronwyn (9/5): fabulous stay in a beautiful location - the location is perfection. the beds are great. Not being able to use a “normal” oven was annoying. I love cooking, so you make some nice meals for my friends I couldn’t make the dishes. The size of the bench oven was prohibitive to what we could make. I then had to use about 4 appliances to achieve the same result as one wall oven.

From the dignified old roo that welcomes you in the front gate, every moment, every corner was spectacular. The fact that it is an eco lodge makes it even more perfect. Pool spectacular. We are going to miss this place. The beauty of the place was complemented by the care of the agent/ owner. We were absolutely made to feel like VIPs. The place is a winner.

Designed to capture every view. Very comfy beds and well equipped bathrooms. The rammed earth walls are like art and the walled gardens feel like Italy. Plenty of wood supplied and everything else we needed. Only downside was no shade on the northern pool side.
