Guest Reviews
- Julie (8/5): - Great location. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We weren't given any pass codes prior to arrival, had to call and wait. No parking for us even though we did advise we had 1 vehicle, disorganised on this side of things but, enjoyed the stay.
- Nicole (10/5): Beautiful, stunning Westbury. - Great location and a very beautiful accommodation. The staff were amazing and thank you for the off-street parking. When we got there we were greeted by the owner which was so nice. Thank you and we will be back. There was nothing that we didn't like.
- Stacey (9/5): - Lovely decor in room & self serve breakfast in sunroom was great. Very quaint property.
- Kim (9/5): Beautiful old home in the heart of Dubbo. - Decor, classy linen. Historic features. Bathroom, whilst perfectly functional, is starting to show signs of needing a Reno.
- Matisan (10/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): Stylish and comfortable stay with pleasant staff - Comfortable and well appointed Some minor cleaning issues
- ALISON KATHLEEN (5/5): -
- Margie (8/5): It was a great stay - Great location Limited off street parking

- Peter (8/5): Enjoyed my stay - Clean , comfortable , great smell . Helpful host although I didn't even meet her . No resteraunt , would have prefered a cooked breakfast . Had to eat an evening meal at the local RSL
- Axel (10/5): Perfect, relaxing. - Exceptional boutique hotel with a very friendly owner. Lots of details which makes this hotel the best place to stay in Dubbo.
- John (8/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Superb! - This is the place to stay in Dubbo. Great rooms & staff. Lovely free continental breakfast. On site parking. Close to the CBD & across the road from the RSL Club Nothing.
- Fiona (6/5): Hot - Room was nice and clean Arrived on a 40 degree day and all the windows were open and no air condition on. Took all evening to try to get the room to cool which wasn't very successful. Air conditioning unit was not powerful effort.
- Refshauge (10/5): -
- Jane (9/5): Weekend getaway - Fantastic location walking distance to the main street shops and resturants. I was a bit worried it might be noisy due to the location but it was super quiet and peaceful. The room was elegant and well appointed and the breakfast room was a lovely and relaxing spot. I would stay again. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): -
- Lauren (10/5): Great little place to stay will stay again when back for work - great location close for my work commitment
Rooms were clean and cute style
- Pete-Jo (10/5): Very relaxing and conveniently located - Awesome service always checking in and also did our washing for us Needs bigger air conditioner to cope with the extreme heat - it was very hot when we stayed 40+

- Nicki (4/5): Won’t be back. - Old style charm No parking, rude staff, penalised for using booking.com
- Robert (9/5): Lovely place to stay, highly recommended! - Staff were friendly, facilities were clean and very good. The balcony was a great touch.
- Shaun (8/5): Very comfortable and handy location. - The room and ensuite on arrival were clean and fresh. Large space to spread out and relax. Nicley finished off decor with a historical old world charm theme throughout. Easy access to the building and room. Good supply of continental breakfast foodstuffs. Short walking distance to pubs, clubs and restaurants. Off street limited. Busy streets on two sides of the property contributing to louder than normal road noise levels into the evening.
- iain (6/5): Lack of personal touch eg. no reception just codes - Paint peeling off bathroom ceiling tiles cracked in shower
Person thumping around upstairs very annoying
- Brian (10/5): -
- Paola (8/5): -
- Cameron (10/5): Home away from home - It’s very comfortable and well set up. Bed is like home, coffee, tea and the room is large. It’s like home away from home. Nothing
- Birgitt (7/5): - The room was beautiful. Not sure if the drains were blocked, but there was an off smell in the room.
- roger (7/5): Go out for brrakfast.and ask for discount - Location and style. Atmosphere good. Advertised as including breakfast. But not mich more than a very very minimalist breakfast . Orange juice 3 choices of cereal and toast. No sliced hams or salami or smoked salmon to match continental standards even. We felt duded

- Jenny (7/5): Nice property in a good location but very disappointed with the breakfast. - The location was excellent, right in the heart of town. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was very ordinary, it was serve yourself with no-one on site. The product range was limited to cereal, toast and coffee.
- john (8/5): Comfortable, very adequate stop between Mornington & Brisbane - Breakfast was good for self serve. Room was spacious & clean I expected more of a hotel & less of a guesthouse, but it was a very good guesthouse. Would have preferred off street parking

- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (6/5): Pleasant, in outskirts of main city centre. - Nice big room in beautifully renovated manor house. If you like RSL’s it was over the road, nice meal available on a Monday night.
Not a lot of restaurants open in Dubbo on Monday nights.
Good for a quick overnight stopover, not really a family place. A continental breakfast provided. Parking was on main streets, loading zone only for short while outside the property, 2 hour street parking available. 830-630.
Street had police station, however was a little uneasy leaving car parked overnight along the road.
Was an office and shopping area.
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Pristine (10/5): Like going into a photo shoot - beautiful & comfy! - What a treat to discover the Westbury! It is beautifully designed, with comfy bed & seating, and a spotless bathroom. The blue room was so airy, and made me feel like I was in a Donna Hay photo shoot! The breakfast in the morning was simple but perfect because there were a mix of healthy homemade granola and fresh fruits, and I enjoyed sitting down in the peaceful dining room. Bonus was meeting Virginia and Coco the puppy (who doesn’t live in the hotel, so no worries for non-dog people)!
PS The MicroCloud bedding & pillows were so comfy that when I got home I ordered some for myself! I was worried about street noise but that didn’t bother us in the end as it wasn’t very noisy
- Luci (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (9/5): Highly recommend - The house and room are wonderful. Large room with high ceilings and large very comfortable bed.
Complimentary breakfast of toast, fruit yoghurt.
Location was great, close to main shopping area. Bath Towels were quite small. I like a big bath sheet. Also I require two bath size towels, one for hair and one for body so 3 bath size towels is always helpful for couples.
- Matthew (10/5): Can't imagine a better place to stay in Dubbo!!! - Not only was the location very accessible to all the amenities in town, but the historical building was also exceptionally gorgeous. Practically all the luxuries of a contemporary hotel (the ones that matter), with the beauty and ambiance of Australian history. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, making the experiece that much better! Highly recommend if you are ever visiting New South Wales Great Western Plains! NOTHING!!! The entire stay was easy, and a wonderful experience.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well presented. comfortable bed water in the shower wasn't very hot. Didn't matter this time as it was summer, but might be an issue in winter.
