• Janice (1/5): You get what you pay for - The AC worked really well. The photos are quite deceiving. They must have been when the apartment was newer because it is quite run down now. The apartment was not clean. There was hair all over the floor, hair on the bed, there was water all over the bathroom, and dust everywhere. We left when we found a giant cockroach in the bathroom.

• Friedenberg (9/5): - The window around the bed was an absolute dream. The bed was so soft and comfortable and it was super affordable. The owner was very lively over text and provided instructions on how to get in and showing where it was despite some confusion. The water heater on the shower wasn’t the best and the bathroom was a bit dirty. Besides those two things it’s a must stay if you like a quieter trip rather than staying directly in the busy streets of Old Quarter.

• Hien (10/5): - This property is clean. There are lots of eateries around. Walking distance to west lake. There is a lift which is very convenient if you travel with luggage. The manager is very helpful and she takes care of guests.

• Nastassiya (9/5): Nice location, clean room, friendly staff - The location and the place itself were good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow and turned off on ocasion. I had to reconnect or connect to the one in the neighbouring room. Some sort of boiler or another machine outside was making a lot of noise. If you're a light sleeper, it might be an issue.

Was some vegetables in the kettle but I wouldn't expect a kettle to have anything but water either! Easy to use laundry upstairs. Middle of mattress a little hard but easy to avoid

• Wu (3/5): Very displeased with my stay - The location is not too far from the city centre and close to the West Lake. I don't generally write negative reviews, but I was very displeased with this property and extremely surprised by the current rating of 8+. To begin with, the bed sheet and the pillow cases were covered with numerous hairs from previous guests, which indicates that no (proper) cleaning was done. Furthermore, the bathroom had an unpleasant odor and its floor, walls and toilet were covered with unidentifiable stains, which did not make the place feel hygienic. Similarly, the kitchen area could use a lot more care since the area was not clean and I still wonder about the purpose of a lonely garlic in the fridge. Lastly, the AC did not work, which in combination with the lack of insulation and winter cold resulted in an overall unpleasant stay. Whilst the host is reachable, it is a self check-in property and it obviously lacks the attention that it needs. All that said, unfortunately, I can't recommend this property.

And I think it's largely because of the location of the accommodation. This time I finally fell in love with Hanoi 😍 Owner is super great! If I ever come here I will stay here again. No problem.😉

• Cwh!!! (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were the best part, extremely accommodating. This is a great place for a long-term stay in Hanoi. First I booked for 2 weeks, then I booked an additional 2 weeks. I would definitely stay here again.
• Syvell (1/5): AVOID! Some People Shouldn't be Business Owners - I liked the Manager's responsiveness. She was always polite and answered my messages on the group chat. Bed was super comfortable and clean. The instructions to get inside were accurate UPDATE: the manager is responsive, even when she is completely wrong 😅 UPDATE 2: Manager reaches out to me on my private account to accuse me of writing a fake review. Manager should spend her time improving her apartment, and stop wasting her time being petty, nasty, and rude. Slow Wifi. It was impossible to watch Netflix. Housekeeper should be fired. Seriously. The bed was clean, but the kitchen was dirty as hell. Wipe your fingers across the counter, and you will pick up dust--DIRTY! I didn't dare use the pots and kitchen utensils. I paid in cash, and housekeeper tried to steal an extra 200k! Right in front of my face! And then she tried to argue (in Vietnamese) that I was wrong...she is a liability--all of the good karma that this place had was brought down by a thieving housekeeper. Also, location isn't the greatest. No restaurants around, and far from the city center. UPDATE: After posting my review, the manager messaged me, asking what happened. I explained over and over and over in detail what the unscrupulous housekeeper did. The manager subtlely implies that I am lying, and the housekeeper would never do such a thing because the housekeeper is --- her mother! Instead of apologizing to me, she doubles down keeps insinuating that I am making this up, and that I can't count. Me-- with a degree in accounting! It's literally what I do for a living! Instead of going after her thieving parent, the manager comes for me. Then she has the nerve to block me haha. Big mistake. I can be petty too. Don't come for me unless I send for you.

The fridge also froze everything even though it was in the fridge, not the freezer,l.

• James (10/5): Comfortable stay away from the busy Old Quarter! - So nice to be further out of the Old Quarter! Love Hanoi, but it's so nice to be a bit further out by the lake for a few nights. We had to change our plans quick after our Ha Giang Loop tour was cancelled so we found this lovely little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and it didn't disappoint. Spacious room, comfy beds and great wifi. Secure building with a pin code and then a key to get in (lock was a bit stiff). Need Grab's/cabs to get closer into Hanoi.
