• Liselotte (6/5): Oké app. complex met lagoon die na 3 dagen ook gaat vervelen. Ver weg van bewoonde wereld (20 min) - Ontbijt is niet op locatie beschikbaar. Het hebben van een appartement biedt hierdoor uitkomst. Contact gehad met host. Hij gaf aan persoonlijk de sleutel te willen overhandigen. Bij aankomst geen host, uiteindelijk gebeld. Lang verhaal over een kapotte airco, niet mogelijk om te verblijven in het appartement. Alternatief (20 min verder) of bedrag teruggestort krijgen. Bij de vraag of we het appartement mochten aanvoelen vanwege de hitte werd de host zeer bot,respectloos en ontzettend arrogant. Wilde ons ook niet meer helpen omdat wij hem het gevoel gaven hem niet te vertrouwen. Uiteindelijk heeft mijn man het verdere contact gelegd en gekozen voor alternatief. Volgende dag kwam het verlossende appje (om 13 uur en wij moesten er om vragen) we konden om 16 uur in het appartement. Dat overigens slecht was schoon gemaakt. Naar ons idee een dubbele boeking. Als de host eerlijk was geweest hadden wij geen nare bijsmaak van onze vakantie gehad. Voor ons weer een reden om nooit meer bij booking.com te boeken.

• Sereena (8/5): The Lagoon is a sight to behold… totally gorgeous - The lagoon looks just as it does in the photos; feels more like the Caribbean than Spain! There are activities available such as kayaking, and there is the choice of two eateries. The view from the apartment was stunning as you’re surrounded by palm trees with the sea in the distance. The apartment was very clean, spacious and light. We appreciated the cold beers on arrival — thank you. Our stay could have been perfect if it weren’t for… - Needing to arrive within a 30 min window, and if we didn’t we’d need to pay 50 euros in cash. This created an unnecessary stress even before arriving, as the arrival window is too narrow, especially for those travelling in from outside of Spain. - The address within Booking.com isn’t where the apartment is. It would have made things easier if this had been updated as it’s not always possible to cross reference Google map links with the address on file (if you’re not told ahead of time that the two are different). - The aircon didn’t initially work, although our host quickly sorted it out. - The apartment was meant to have access to a private pool — but this pool was not available — and we were told that the reason we were given Lagoon day passes was to compensate for this fact. We would have appreciated knowing this on booking the apartment, especially as the Lagoon (as lovely as it was) and pool within the Lagoon isn’t appropriate for a small baby as the water (due to its volume) is too cold for those under 2 years old. - Check out on Booking .com states midday, but we were initially told to leave at 11am until I flagged up the discrepancy with the host, on which they were happy to accommodate a later check out. If all the above was improved upon, then it really would have been a perfect holiday, but sadly all of the above did add stress to what should have been a stress free holiday.
