Would definitely recommend. - The location was excellent with regards to ski region accesibility. 50 meters away from the apartment was a bus stop which connected with the Alpbach ski region as well as connection to the town in the valley below. In addition there were many restaurants close by as well as a supermarket about 6 minutes away on foot. The views of the town (on one side) and the mountains (on the other) were lovely. The internet connectivity was free and fast (streaming our movies was not a problem at all). Our host was very friendly and easy to reach.

• Aurore (10/5): - C'est un appartement exceptionnel au cœur du village. L appartement est très spacieux. Il ne manquait rien. Les propriétaires sont au petits soins pour nous. En bonus, nous avons eu droit à des tickets pour les remontées mécaniques des télécabines de Alpbach pendant notre séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

• Bart (9/5): Very nice - Lots of privacy in the separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The location was excellent in the middle of the village, 50 meters from the skibus. No elevator, but only two flights of stairs.

• Pat (10/5): We would not hesitate in booking this accommodation again if in Alpbach. - The property was of a good size, very clean and of a good design. The shower and wc rooms were modern and comfortable. It was difficult to work out how to get channels on the TV but because we were not really interested in using it, we did not ask for advice.

• Mimi (10/5): Wonderful hosts in a wonderful location - The location is ideal - right in the middle of the village with views over the ski mountain. It is a very short walk to the nearest bus station and the property has facilities to store and heat ski boots. The hosts got in touch with us a few days before asking if we wanted anything in particular and all our requests (e.g. two bathrooms and a view of the mountain) were met. At the end of our stay the hosts organised a lift to our next accommodation for which we were not charged. If you are looking to stay in an apartment in Alpbach, look no further.

The location is very central and perfect for getting on the ski bus and going out in the evening. We had an apartment at the front of the building and it was very noisy some evenings from the bar over the road. Think we would request to be on the mountain side in future.

• Nigel (8/5): - Our guesthouse apartment (#5, top floor) was very nicely built. clean, and spacious. It is right in the center of the small town of Alpbach. Overall - a lovely place to stay but you need to know about the parking, laundry, etc. The booking info on Orbitz said there was free breakfast and underground parking. Neither was true. I got a E20 ticket for parking outside on the street in a parking zone. We were promised a free local access card. Our landlady offered that to us on the afternoon of the day before we left. The ad said there was laundry but you have to ask for it as it's not in the apartment. A workman came into the apartment with no notification one afternoon to tinker with the wifi. There was a dishwasher in the apartment but no soap to use.

It was a great location for walks and hikes, so much in the area to do. The accomadation was fantastic, spotless, well equipped and comfortable, also beautifully done in the alpine style. We were made to feel so welcome, our host was wonderful, so warm and friendly, and available if we needed anything or had any questions. I could not fault any of it, it was an amazing; trip, location, accommodation and host.

• Alison (10/5): Perfect apartment in a perfectly central location, with a lovely kind host! Highly recommend! - The apartment was everything we could have wished for and much, much more. The host is so accommodating and friendly. We had a 10 month old baby and the facilities were beyond perfect. We are so excited to return to the apartment next year. From the very well-equipped and clean kitchen with cosy living area, spacious and airy bedrooms, comfortable beds, hot and powerful showers, lovely bath, stunning views from every room, perfectly central location, heated area for boots, smart tv in every room, every appliance you could need and everything in between- we can’t rate this place enough!! Thank you to Gitti, our lovely accommodating host! No comment!

• Yogesh (10/5): Experience Tirol in an hospitable environment - Hotel is centrally located in Alpbach. Room interiors have a nice and warm feeling due to the extensive use of wood. Terrific view of the mountains and valley from the room. Owners are extremely nice, helpful, knowledgeable about the neighborhood and committed to quality. You get real hospitality here which is priceless. Breakfast is rich and lots of options for people with varied dietary restrictions (I am a vegetarian and had a feast). Car is not needed - you get a card which allows you to travel in the Tirol region for free.

Betere voorbereiding van onze kant had het zoeken ook voorkomen. Prima ontvangst, net en compleet appartement. Veel kleine dingetjes die je makkelijk vergeet zijn aanwezig. Goede informatie over de omgeving, restaurants, en zelfs de weersvoorspelling werd zonder aarzeling opgedreund. Van de 4 personen slapen er 2 op de redelijk comfortabele slaapbank, en 2 in een goed bed.

• Wilson (10/5): Relaxing stay with beautiful surroundings - As told about the conference at the hotel that we booked, we're offered a room at another hotel nearby. The room(we booked for 3 persons) is spacious and with a small open kitchen, a dishwasher and fridge which are better than we expect. The surroundings are great with beautiful houses and mountain scene. There is a nice restaurant in another hotel nearby. The host is nice. Besides, a free Alpbachtal Seenland Card is issued for each person to enjoy free rides on cable cars and free admission to museums in the region during our stay.

Ik had een hele mooie ruime kamer met badkamer. Het Gasthaus is zeer centraal gelegen en vlak bij het congresgebouw van Alpbach waar ik een congres heb bijgewoond. Het ontbijt s ochtends is heel uitgebreid en de service is uitstekend en heel vriendelijk.

Vertinnen var veldig hyggelig, kom med forslag til hva vi kunne gjøre i området. Absolutt verdt pengene, kommer gjerne tilbake.

• Family 5 (8/5): Great stay with lots of benefits - As a family of five we had a really nice stay in Gastehaus Schneider. So helpful the owners. The rooms where outstanding. And especially the free benefit card that they have in the Alpbach valley gave an extra value to our stay. It contained free entrance to swimming halls/water-land, free use of cable cars up in the mountain and free busride in the valley. Situated in the middle of the "dorf", it was a little bit noisy in the morning, and the church bell rings at 07.15 every morning. But you can live with that.
• LiL (10/5): Superb experience! - This guesthouse is conveniently located in front of the village's simbolic church, very close to bus stop from nearby train station Brixlegg. The apartment I stayed for 5 nights was almost brand new, spotless, and had everything-you-need for comfortable stay. The owner Gitti (and her staff )welcomed guests with authentic Tirolian way of hospitality and professionalism. She provided the guests with tips where to go and what to do in its neighboring villages! I strongly recommend this place to rest your sore bodies after a long hiking/skiing day!

Dafür haben wir in der Rechnung 2€/person als Kurtax und 25€ wegen Endreinigung bekommen. Trotzdem hat es sich gelohnt. Die Inhaberin war super lieb zu uns und die Lage ist traumhaft schön. Frühstückbuffe ausreichend und nur für 7€
