Margaret (8/5): Overall, we had a lovely stay. - The ladies who came to give us the keys couldn't have been more helpful. There was a new washing machine, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the bedrooms were roomy with plenty of cupboard space. The apartment was right on the beach and close to restaurants. The pool was a good size even though we were so close to the beach. Opening the windows to have a balcony and the bedrooms having glass partitions to the lounge.

Carol (4/5): Beautiful apartment, totally inadequate. - Beautiful view, the lounge area was spacious with the most breathtaking 180 degree view. The owner's checkin was from 1pm, but we were arriving early and would be at the apartment around 11am. He very kindly agreed to let us in early which we were grateful for. We were bowled over by the lounge and it's amazing view. The owner showed us how the entrance key/fob worked, how the TV's and aircon worked, and how to open the wall of windows.... slightly rickety but we managed it. He also tried to connect us to the free wifi which didn't work but we eventually got it at 9.30am the following morning, so off to a good start. First things first we wanted a cup of tea after our journey.... but where was the kettle and cups/mugs?? We hunted high and low.... but could find no kettle and only small espresso coffee cups. So I messaged the owner to ask where to find the kettle.... his reply was 'boil water in a saucepan'!! The nightmare started to unfold.... The cutlery was still in individual plastic bags so I had to open and wash before use and clean drawer as it was dirty. There was a total lack of Utensils.... only knives, forks and spoons. When we hunted there was a random chopping knife on a top shelf in a top cupboard. And that was it!! Saucepans x 3 and a frying pan... but no Utensils to cook with, no strainer, no grater, nothing! Every drawer and cupboard was very random and untidy! There was no cleaning spray so we bought some. There was a tiny bit of washing up liquid in a big bottle and a washing up sponge. No bin liner bags so bought some. No tea towels so bought kitchen roll to use instead. But then we found a small dusty towel sticking out from under the sofa so I washed it up and we used that as a tea towel in the kitchen. There was a broken wine glass in the kitchen cupboard. Bathroom towels were very old and the most random selection of colours and designs.... as if from a charity shop. The extra pillows were disgusting, heavily stained! So we used t-shirts as covers because there was no other bed linen.
