• Sebastian (3/5): - La llave de la puerta de ingreso al hostal no funciono, y una noche me quede afuera porque no habia quien abra la puerta. Tuve que ir hasta el Hotel Darma para que ellos le llamen al administrador a que me abriera la puerta. Finalmente uno de los huespedes que bajo a la cocina me abrio la puerta.
• Daniel (1/5): I packed my belongings up and left . I stayed no more than 15 minutes . I stay 200 nights a year in hotels for work ! Th - The property is poor at best ! There is nothing good to say ! Room smelt like mildew . Bed mattress was horrible . Room was not clean . Dusty , floor was damaged . Furniture is super tired . The steel of mildew was unacceptable.

• Joanie (9/5): Super! - C'était super propre, très bien placé pour le surf et à distance de marche du centre. La chambre était très grande. Les hôtes étaient super sympathiques et aidant! Les espaces communs étaient en rénovation, donc pas utilisables pour le moment. Par contre, une fois terminée, c'est définitivement un endroit que je recommande.

Only areas for clear improvement: pillows, they can be a bit tough and the parking arrangements are very awkward if you’re coming with a car. Apart from that, great place and super great value. • David (8/5): Comfortable, clean, private and great location. - Room is spacious and comfortable and in a quiet location close to everything. The house only 3 rooms so it's not busy at all. Douglas was very helpful and attentive. Ended up booking another week because we liked it so much. Each room could have a small broom to sweep the floor and a pedestal fan so you don't have to have the air-con on all the time.
• Honza (9/5): Close to the beach - Close to the beach. Equipped kitchen with drinking water. Douglas let me stay there til 8pm because of the late bus. Walking distance couple minutes to town. Close to the center means very noisy, especially at the weekend. I wouldnt survive without earplugs.

• Xiyu (9/5): A cute boutique hotel with nice staff and CATS! - Small cute hotel located on the quieter side of the town, super close to the beach and town center still, the room is cute and spacious, definitely more on the boutique side, good wifi, big bed, own smart tv, private patio, private bathroom, the staffs are a local couple, they're very friendly and helpful even tho we communicate through google translate all the time! They also let me have my spanish class in the common area, and their cats are soooo cute and friendly I miss them already! Can be a little pricey for Montanita but I think it's worth it!

• Suvi (8/5): Good value for money - Friendly staff and good location outside from the main party zone and close to the beach. A small hostel so ideal if you are looking for a less sociable place. Nice and clean rooms. Sapa Inka was next to a party hostel and a building site so occacional noise nuisance may occur though not their fault. The pillows were extremely big!
• Gabriele (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome spot in Montanita on the quieter side of town. We enjoy partying, but we also like coming back to a quiet comfortable room. And it was perfect! The bed was comfortable, AC worked, the shower was great, it essentially has everything you could want. We also used the kitchen and it was always clean it had plenty of utensils.
• Gary (8/5): Very good - Good location which is slightly off the party area of Montanita. Very friendly staff, clean rooms (there are only 4 in the hotel). Kitchen available. Lots of options within walking distance. Easy bus or taxi access for visits to Olon. Hostel next door was quite noisy.
• Tyler (1/5): Bad - Bad experience here. When I arrived at around 4pm, they had given my room away for the night. I had to find another place to stay on short notice. I decided to stay at the other place for the rest of my stay. And they wouldn't refund me.
• Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - We had such a wonderful stay here! The hostel is beautiful, a few blocks from the beach, and a short distance to downtown. It's very quiet, very clean, and the room was spacious. Wifi was great too. The family that runs the hostel was so kind and made us feel at home. We were so sad to leave! Highly recommend!!

• Seila (10/5): Although we didn’t like Montanita, Sapa Inka was a lovely escape from the manic town. Sapa Inka felt homely - Douglas and his family were very welcoming and made our stay comfortable. We even got a room upgrade for free! The hostel was very basic and good value for money The electric shower was very slow and also dangerous! My boyfriend accidentally knocked the shower head and received an electric shock.

Close to a great restaurant called La Terreta. The room was also much nicer than expected. The bathroom in the room had a bit of an unpleasant smell
