Ilkim Deren (6/5): Zum schlafen reicht es - Lage direkt an der Mosel Parkplätze an der Straße vorhanden Die Pension Braun ist nicht mehr unter dem Café Braun. Dort zieht eine Pizzeria ein die es weiter führt. Dazu liegt der Eingang versteckt und das Treppenhaus riecht leider sehr stark nach Zigaretten. Ist ein wohn Apartment wo eine Familie noch drin lebt. Nichts schlimmes aber man kommt sich etwas „blöd“ vor wenn man hin kommt. Wände etwas dünn und Tür hell hörig. Es ist prinzipiell alles da und funkt.

Ruth (7/5): Accommodation needing a little more care but I think the owner may have just taken it on. - This was room only. It was reasonably comfortable but there was no facility to make a hot drink so we had to buy a kettle. We booked up at short notice so when we arrived and found the Cafe closed and looking abandoned we were very worried. There was an alleyway around the side of the building where the apartment entry was but no answer from the door. The other doors further up the alley were in different buildings and looked like it was not connected. We tried there in desperation and it turned out that the people running the accommodation lived there and the lady was in the flat cleaning it before we arrived. It was quite a relief! Up stairs with our luggage - not the best choice we'd made but that was our fault. Signs of neglect or may be they had only just taken over from previous owners. The Wifi didn't work and although we asked for it to be checked, it still wasn't working when we left. Little things like window needed cleaning and spiders BUT certainly a view over the river Mosel and a mountain opposite. The area was quiet, various restaurants so in a nice situation. Given time, they could make it really nice.

Albert (10/5): Relaxing no stress environment at a great price. - Large room with a beautiful view of the Mosel River. Comfortable bed with fresh towels and outlets for all your devices. Fresh sweet grapes you can pick and eat growing directly over the Balcony. Private bathroom and a fully stocked mini-bar. Breakfast and fresh coffee served are all included in the price. Looking forward to our next visit when they will have a restaurant on the premises.
