- Lagartodesign (10/5): Gran descubrimiento - Ha sido un gran descubrimiento. Casi fue por casualidad que acabamos allí, y la experiencia no pudo ser mejor. Las instalaciones son preciosas y todo está muy limpio. Dispone de jacuzzi, sauna y baño turco, lo que hace la estancia aún más agradable. El personal es excepcional, tanto en recepción como en el spa y el restaurante. El entorno natural es precioso, y además todo el interior del hotel está muy bien climatizado, manteniendo siempre una temperatura muy agradable. Tal vez plato de ducha en la habitaciones.

- Nigel (9/5): Enjoyable stay in a slightly tired old fashioned hotel. - The restaurant food was excellent even if the service was a little amateur and slow. The weather was appalling whilst we were there and our first room developed a leak in the ceiling so we were moved to another (and better ) room. The spa has a variety of sauna and steam rooms plus a jacuzzi and a swimming pool. There are good walks from the hotel but not very much information about accessing them. The whole hotel needs redecorating , some of the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, and updating. Our final room was the 'bridal suite'. My parents would have appreciated the decor in 1948! Hooks were broken and missing in the bathroom and whilst drawing the curtain I noticed a whole in the plasterboard revealing electric cables.

La mampara de la bañera tenía grietas y el agua se salía al exterior. El espejo del baño no estaba limpio. Los cristales de la piscina sucios. Contacté con el hotel a través de Booking e informé de que estábamos celebrando el cumpleaños de mi novio, pero no hubo ningún detalle al respecto ni a la llegada ni durante la estancia. Considero que un hotel rural con este precio debería estar a la altura y cuidar más tanto sus instalaciones como a sus huéspedes. El resto, genial.

- Jean Yves Q (7/5): - La qualité globale de l'établissement , son coté authentique et local , les équipements , petit SPA, terrasse , jardin , et même un ascenseur , ce qui est assez rare pour 1 étage et un R-1 ( trés bien pour les personnes a mobilité réduite) la grandeur des chambres, et enfin une trés bonne note restaurant ou sont servis des plats délicieux et très variés; ( tout comme le petit déjeuner ) et un personnel de salle très efficace . La situation géographique dans les montagnes, Vilaflor étant un point de départ idéal pour partir en randonnées pédestre . L'environnement est très calme et reposant . Un très bon service et des réponses rapides aux échanges de messages avant notre arrivée . Enfin un parking juste devant l'hôtel . Le prix est trés élevé tout de même pour ce type d'hôtel rural , 700 euros en demi pension pour deux nuit , et en janvier ! a comparer avant de réserver !!! Sachant que le premier soir le restaurant était fermé , nous avons été réorientés dans un restaurant " type cantine" un peu plus loin , mais de qualité très moyenne ! sans remise pour autant ! Enfin le SPA est correct , mais pas non plus exceptionnel .

Breakfast is good and staff is okay. Winding roads to get there with lovely views. Good for walks when the weather permits. The location was for us too far up the mountain for the winter period due to the cold and La Teide being closed unfortunately due to snow. The breakfast/dining room was cold when there was no sun heating it up, they tried with heaters but it was still uncomfortable. The Hotel feels a little old fashioned, we had some wall paper coming off the wall in our bedroom and for the price we paid this should have been fixed before hand. Wifi in the room is very bad.

The hotel has a individual touch and a really friendly & helpful team which creates a warm atmosphere. Breakfast features a lot of different options & is really delicious. The Spa area is not the most modern one but offers nice Sauna & relax options, which are perfect after a hiking day. In general the rooms (including bathrooms) would need a little lift/renovation. Same as for the Spa area. But everything is clean & has its own charm. Dinner was okay, but compared with the delicious breakfast options less tasty & seasoned.

- David (3/5): Don’t expect to get a snack or a cocktail. Do expect to die for location and balcony views. - Location is great. As are the Spa facilities. Balconies and breakfast are to die for. A top tier hotel should be able to muster up a sandwich when people arrive between meal sittings. Food options in town are limited so having a high grade restaurant on site means you can’t get anything simple. Also in spite of the high grade veneer there was no one available to make a cocktail - so why put out a cocktail menu? Nice veneer - no substance.

Sus instalaciones de spa y gimnasio también son de gran calidad. Las habitaciones son enormes, cómodas y bien equipadas. La única pega que le podría sacar es al restaurante del hotel. Para tema de cenas siempre tienen la misma carta y a la larga puede hacerse un poco repetitivo a pesar de que la comida está bien.

Some of the fixtures and fittings in the room were broken or didn’t work. There was no shampoo and/or conditioner and the liquid soap dispenser was practically empty. The instructions on how to use the safe were wrong. There were no chairs in the room. Only two coffee pods? No milk. - Ekaterina (3/5): Do not recommend - The place is quite and it was the only benefit we found. The place looks lifeless. Not peaceful, but like all the joy was taken away. Everyone speaks quietly, moves slowly, I felt really uncomfortable. There is absolutely nothing to do in the territory. Regarding more feasible problems: the restaurant was just a joke. Water from the tap costs 1.5e if you order it at the dinner and 0e if you come with your own bottle. 3 ravioli costs 20e. You have to spend 50e per person at least to feel full. The stuff is acting like you are in Mechelen restaurant, while you can't focus on the food because of absolutely insane amount of flys. I mean I had to literally keep an eye on my spoon to make sure I will not eat one. Probably this is because of a chicken farm just in the middle of hotel territory. So, if you are unlucky to stay in this place, you can go tho the city centre and have much better dinner with great local food, no flys and twice lower price. The suff member told me, that I chose wrong table on the breakfast in the manner like I am a teenager at the classroom. And it took then eternity to come to take the order. And it might be alright if I was not fully covered with flys at the moment! At some point I decided that I will eat my breakfast in the room and the stuff tried to charge me 6e for "room crevice" even though I brought my plate to my room myself. The spa is one regular pool, one jacuzzi and 3 saunas. And a huge amount of massages types for 100e per session. I felt like the hotel was constantly trying to charge me for anything. You can do absolutely nothing in the hotel without paying more. About the location: I was thinking, that it would be a good place to stay for hiking and visiting Teide, but the road to the main city takes an hour and it makes no sense to stay so far in such conditions just to save it. One more problem is public transportation access. There are 3 busses a day, with which you can leave the place without a car.

- Miriam (10/5): Tranquilidad y comodidad - Todo fue fantástico. El hotel es muy bonito, las habitaciones amplias, cómodas y silenciosas. La cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas. Por la noche no se oye a las habitaciones cercanas. El lugar es realmente tranquilo. El personal es amable y atento, haciendo tu estancia especial. Gracias Esther, Angelo, Inma, Lidia,… y todos, muchísimas gracias por vuestro buen trato. Una mención especial al restaurante, los platos de la carta son variados y excelentes. Enhorabuena a la chef! Todo es fantástico.
- TEJERA GONZÁLEZ (10/5): Grata sorpresa. - Lo más que nos gustó fue el personal y su amabilidad, fueron atentos, resolutivos y siempre con una gran sonrisa. El spa maravilloso, pero el masaje sin duda fue maravilloso.

- Marie (9/5): Très bel endroit - L'emplacement de l'hôtel était super, et le personnel très gentil et attentionné. Le jardin était très agréable et les équipements très biens. Le spa et les massages ont réellement participé à notre détente. Nous avons réservé une chambre côté vue sur la montagne en pensant que la vue serait belle, mais il aurait fallu prendre une chambre avec vue sur le jardin. Nous avions donc une vue, non pas sur la montagne, mais sur un centre technique et sur un stade relativement fréquenté. Je suis également tombée très malade après le petit déjeuner, mais le personnel s'est occupé de nous.
