• Robert (10/5): A perfect base to explore the Jarabacoa area - We stayed as 2 adults for 4 nights in early May and loved it. Boris and his daughter gave us a warm welcome on arrival and were very helpful with questions and recommendations both before and during our stay. The villa is lovely - spacious, light and airy - and the pool and garden area is beautiful. Lots of birds. The area around Jarabacoa is very scenic and we enjoyed our stay very much. We recommend a visit to the Monte Alto coffee factory (guided tours are 500 pesos, purchase at the factory reception) and the waterfalls are lovely. Thank you.

• Chris (10/5): A very comfortable and enjoyable stay - The property is private, not overlooked, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts live in an adjacent house so are readily accessible. You are within a secure, scattered high-quality residential area. Boris showed us around the property on arrival, which was helpful. There is a very attractive outdoor area. We obtained some very useful advice regarding which natural attractions we should visit. Highly recommended. We had difficulty locating the access road, because we followed Apple maps instead of the instructions given. This took us up the wrong road. Once we telephoned the German speaking hosts we received clear instructions. The access road is a quite long dirt track, but we had no difficulty driving on it. The location is very quiet, apart from farmhouse noises.

• Agathe (10/5): Belle villa dans un endroit paisible - Superbe villa, très grande et bien placée. La piscine permet de bien se rafraîchir et la terrasse est super agréable. Très bon accueil de Tana et super réactivité via le chat de Booking.

La dueña es una bendición, muy atenta, hasta huevos criollos nos regalaró con frutas salvajes.🥰 Hablé con la propietaria y van a Instalar aires acondicionados en las habitaciones. Porque a pesar de que es en jarabacoa a veces hace calor.

• Rocio (8/5): Peaceful and it has everything you need - You have everything you need. Place is peaceful and spacious enough for a group to have a great time outside the city. There were a lot of bugs, some roaches coming from the kitchen sink but the host was proactive and sent us baygon when I asked for it. Also, you need to be aware of bringing cash with you or pay via PayPal (including the fees).

The host Tana was wonderful and accommodated us in anything we needed. Gave my family pineapple, mandarin and other herbs. I would definitely stay again. My kids were screaming because of spider. I had spray and took care of it but the last night they couldn’t sleep.

I will definitely go back as many times as possible. There is nothing to dislike. There are some spiders and mosquitoes as some reviews mention but that is absolutely normal in a rural environment.

The space was great, needed a few fixes and touch ups but exactly what we needed. Screens on the windows would of been helpful to keep ventilation and the inevitable flys out
