- Pieternella (9/5): Lovely cozy cottage in quiet area - This cozy cottage was lovely to stay in. The electric fireplace was a nice touch and the spa bed was amazing to wind down on the end of the day. We had a lovely stay here.
- Michelle (8/5): Romantic, peaceful and scenic - The view and location Nothing, we found the place wonderful

- Priscilla (10/5): Comforting and romantic - It is a lovely cozy romantic stay, perfect for autumn. Surrounded by nature and a close drive to many beautiful places. We loved that we could bring our doggo along too! -
- Anil (5/5): The location is nice, but it requires some improvements. - It is a beautiful location in the forest. Need better heating, especially in this weather. The air conditioning is not adequate or large enough for the space. We were extremely cold for two days. It definitely needs better cleaning too; the vacuum was filled when we entered, so I emptied it.
- Mannagh (8/5): Very good - Amazing location and very private, while still being close to Apollo Bay. Not something that the owners can control, but the sound from the frogs was constant. Was a shock at first, but you learn to ignore it.
- Dylan (7/5): good, was comfy - Location was nice, good spot to see everything. May stay again but for longer wish there wasnt so many brown dead reeds in front of the cottage, would be a lot nicer for photos and immersion without them but thats nitpicking
- Kane (8/5): Very good -
- Karyn (6/5): It looked great on the internet. The bed and furniture were clean and comfortable.i felt disrespected with the amount of - It was private. It wasn’t to my cleaning standards and had a lot of maintenance to be done. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn’t work. The exhaust fan was filthy. Cobwebs everywhere inside. The lamp at the bedside didn’t work. One light switch in the bedroom didn’t have a knob and the other, the dimmer didn’t work. When opening a window, as it got very hot the handle fell off. The exhaust fan above the stove didn’t work.the cupboard the toaster and kettle were in was needing to be replaced. The tray in the cupboard under the sink with the cleaning stuff in it was filthy and full of rust that needed to be cleaned.
- Sergio (9/5): Superb -
- Sudharta (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cottage, everything There was no toilet paper, anywhere to be found
- Sue (9/5): it was very good a lovely bush setting, moor hens and ducks to amuse us great to sit on the balcony - It was a great location a bit further from Apollo Bay township than expected didn't realize that the road would be so winding but a beautiful spot. the shower was dripping onto the hard plastic floor very annoying during the night
- Khisharna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Skiddley (8/5): Very good - Such a beautiful location, and warm and welcoming inside, it's a very comfortable cottage, so much so that we felt we never really wanted to go out, especially if it was raining. The bed was really comfortable and there was ample room for a couple to spread out and spend time relaxing. The cottage could really do with a bit of TLC. It feels just a little old and tired. The facilities are starting not to function. By the second night there was no light at all in the bathroom, and no replacement bulbs were available. Cooking on a stove plate where the large plate didn't work was nearly impossible. The balcony could do with a lick of paint
- Merrilyn (5/5): Passable -
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amalia (9/5): Superb -
- Emily (8/5): This location is a hidden treasure and transports you to a cosy cottage heaven - The location was amazing, it was beautiful and quiet and full of birds! The cottage was so homely and cosy and accessing the keys was incredibly easy. Communications sent from the hosts was clear and easy to follow. The place really was sensational, the only minor minor let down was the wood fire being a gas heater. I was really excited to use an actual wood fire again so that was really the only tiny let down.
- Yvette (8/5): Facilities were nice and property overall well presented - Fireplace and jacuzzi was a nice touch A bit far from main town to get to
- Anne (10/5): Loved it and highly recommend - The location is amazing. I sat out on the deck and read my book because it was so quiet. The only sound were the birds and only a couple of cars. I live in an area where the cars and the noise are a constant daily thing and to be able to sit outside and not have to hear cars constantly and loud music beating through the road as they go past was amazing.
I highly recommend this getaway and my husband and I will be returning here at some point this year for the peace and quiet.
- Sandra (9/5): Apple Tree Cottage amazing! - We loved the location and how peaceful it was. So silent and relaxing but also not far from the beach and main street. The fireplace was great, the complimentary chocolates were lovely. Sitting on the deck was so relaxing and being able to have a BBQ. The spa was amazing too. The place was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The only thing we didn't like was the window in the roof in the bedroom. I assume it's for star gazing which is nice but there is no blind on it which makes it hard to sleep in because it's so bright early in the morning and the sun is right in your eyes. Maybe an electric blind so give the option would be great.
