• Robert (9/5): Great apartment overlooking Plaza de Mayor - The apartment is in a great location at Plaza de Mayor. The rooftop terrace is what makes this location amazing. The unit was clean and the host was helpful in getting us in to the property. Nice little kitchen area where you can cook meals while your staying in the unit. With the location being historic, there is no elevator, so you will get your steps in getting up to the top floor for that amazing view. Just know going in, that you need to carry your luggage up to the top floor for that amazing view.

• Robert (9/5): - Wunderbare zentrale Lage mit grandioser Dachterrasse. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein paar vernünftige Weingläser wären kein Luxus. Ein Hinweis, dass der unangenehme Kanalisationsgeruch im Bad wegen des fehlenden Syphons im Waschbecken durch Auffüllen mit etwas Wasser desselben gelindert werden kann, wäre ebenfalls hilfreich gewesen

The apartment is very well located, with everything easily accessible on foot. Even though it is centrally located on a well-known square, it is very quiet at night with no disturbances. The terrace is a real bonus, perfect for enjoying breakfast in the sun. I highly recommend this place and would gladly stay again if I am in the area.

• Donna (10/5): Fantastic location - The location and views were amazing. The bed is so comfy. So much to like and admire about this apartment. The steps are hard going with cases but it's worth if when you get there
• bernard (9/5): - L'appartement est très bien situé, dans le centre historique de Madrid. Il est bien aménagé et agréable à vivre. Il est doté d'une terrasse sur le toit de l'immeuble, accessible dans l'appartement par un escalier. La terrasse offre une vue splendide sur la Plaza Major ... pour qui n'a pas trop le vertige. L'immeuble, bâtiment historique, ne dispose pas d'ascenseur, mais l'appartement, situé au 4ème étage, se mérite. Le propriétaire s'est montré très réactif pour faciliter notre arrivée et notre départ (nous n'avons pas rencontré de problème nécessitant son intervention pendant notre séjour). L'absence d'ascenseur peut présenter un inconvénient pour les personnes âgées et celles portant un handicap. En matière de sécurité, nous avons été étonnés par l'absence de garde-fou sur la terrasse.
• Hippolyte (1/5): Séjour très décevant à cause de plusieurs problèmes non résolus - Durant notre séjour, un dégât des eaux au niveau du cumulus a provoqué une panne de la climatisation et de la chaudière. Résultat : pas d’eau chaude ni de clim pendant la journée. Malgré plusieurs messages, aucune intervention n’a été faite par le propriétaire. J’ai dû moi-même toucher aux compteurs électriques pour rétablir partiellement la climatisation, mais l’eau chaude est restée absente tout au long du séjour. Le dernier jour, il n’y avait même plus d’eau du tout. J’ai demandé un geste commercial compte tenu de ces désagréments, mais le propriétaire s’est énervé au lieu de répondre, en me disant que nous aurions dû partir plus tôt si « c’était insupportable ». J’ai donc dû faire le check-out sans aucune aide ni instruction. Je déconseille ce logement si vous cherchez un minimum de confort ou une gestion sérieuse en cas de problème.
• Emma (7/5): An apartment that could be magical but doesn’t quite live up to expectation. - - The apartment is a great size and generally lovely. - The bed is excellent - very comfortable. - The location is great. - The idea of the terrace is great. - Communication was speedy. Things I would have liked to have known before booking: - The apartment is a bit grubby and tired. The sofa is dirty, and the shower feels dirty. - There is a constant unpleasant smell in the kitchen and bathroom. Maybe that's a drain thing? The fridge was a bit smelly too. - The kitchen was not as equipped as we would like. There were no cups for tea or coffee. When we asked, the owner said that cups are not used in Spain; glasses are. No glasses in the apartment felt sturdy enough for boiling water or small enough for coffee. We ended up buying disposable cardboard cups, which is fine, but it was an inconvenience. - The terrace is a great idea, but it has no shade/umbrella. When we were there, it was 38 degrees and the terrace was too exposed, and we couldn't use it. - The bedroom is in the eaves, which you can see from the photos. As cute as it is, if you are of average height, you will have to remember to bend over to get in and out of bed and use the drawers; otherwise, you’ll hit your head.

• Bernardo (10/5): Best Madrid sunsets - Best terrace and balcony in Madrid Is not a real bad, but be aware of 4th floor stairs is not for everyone.
• Sofia (8/5): Very special location but place needs maintenance - The location and the views are the best part of staying here. 1) No elevator. This is on the 4th floor but if you’re from the US, it’s really a 5-floor walk up. This was especially painful since my 20yo daughter had 3 huge suitcases after finishing her semester abroad in Spain. 2) there is NO full length mirror which is frustrating if you want to see what you look like before you go out the door. 3) there were exposed wires in the ceiling and walls where light fixtures are supposed to be. Also bathroom sink was chipped and cracked like a cheap ikea type sink. The sofa also had an oil stain.

• Lea (10/5): Perfect place in Madrid - The property felt more like a home than any other place I have stayed in whilst on a holiday! It was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and the views from the terrace are exceptional. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault this apartment at all. Please be mindful that this is an old building with a lot of steps to the apartment, but the steps are 100% worth it. The host was also great, kept in touch with us throughout our stay. The property is close to everything, bars restaurants, metros. If I come back to Madrid this would be my number 1 choice of place to stay.

The design inside is beautiful, mixed with the BEST view from the terrace - unbelievable sunsets. We felt on top of the world. Super clean, super comfortable and spacious. Leaving was the worst bit
• John (7/5): Brilliant location, especially for young couples. - The location is iconic - right on the main square. The only downside for us - and I stress that this is more about my fitness level than about the accommodation - is that there are 100 steps to climb to get to the door. Younger people would have no problem with that. It's worth the climb. The neighbour appears to have colonised the shared landing, so we had to circumnavigate children's toys and washing put out to dry. Didn't bother us, but some people might be a bit put off.
• Aaron (10/5): Insane views apartment - Recently renovated apartment in the middle of the city, the most iconic square. We enjoyed every second the view, and the roof terrace is insane. Super clean. Very quiet at night and super comfy bed.

(6/5): Pleasant - the location was exellent despite the information on the website there were no facilities to make coffee and tea. not a single cup for coffee or tea so we bought cups ourselfs there was a stark sewer air in the appartement there were no dishcloths there were dirty towels from previous occupants

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, making exploring iconic landmarks easy and convenient. The stylish decor and modern amenities made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and luxurious experience in the historic center. I hope to return soon!
