• Tenui (7/5): Fijn verblijf, aan te raden. - Fijn verblijf iets uit de drukte van het centrum. Alsnog een goede ligging vlakbij een grote mall. De faciliteiten (keuken) waren wat verouderd en het kon wat schoner.

The fridge was DISGUSTING smelling and didn't seem to get cold. We didn't use it at all because it smelled so rotten. No bathroom lock or extraction fan but that's just minor

• Auntiecarole (5/5): Awful, will not return. This picture is of the cutlery draw for three people. - No breakfast provided. Was it supposed to be? If so, Woody must have forgotten! It would have been very nice as the apartment was not so much! Where do I start, not enough cutlery, plates, cups or saucers to match. We were three people and there was only one knife. Woody, you forgot to paint the wall in the lounge, did you run out of paint? The entrance was u tidy, the stairs were not a good start either, everything looked run down! The stairwell also had a smell as if someone had pissed in the corner. I would not like my Mother to stay there.

All necessities were provided. - Very detailed description on photos to take out the key to unlock the door and access the designated carpark space. The rooms and floor, kitchen, living room and bathroom were all clean and tidy. In particular, the washing machine was very convenient to use and the host provided laundry powder. Nil.

• Shanaka (6/5): Central Location - The apartment is centrally located within a short walk to Macquarie University Metro Station and Macquarie Shopping Centre. The apartment has a small living area, kitchen, one master, one small bedroom, bathroom and laundry. It is one of the older buildings at Macquarie Park and very basic, however it had good hot water and good wifi. We booked the place in June-July during winter and inside was very cold. Limited heating options were provided though several blankets are available. The car spot is just below the apartment. The apartment just needs some TLC to make it more comfortable. The bathroom was constantly wet. We cleaned the bathroom several times a day to keep it dry but there is a plumbing issue or structural issue that perpetually keeps the bathroom wet. Also the miniature washbasin was difficult to use.

• Mc (6/5): Spacious apartment but cleanliness is a problem. - The apartment is spacious and in a good location, near Macquarie Centre and subway. The main door is problematic to open, with the door jamming on the door frame. The door closing mechanism is also jammed. The worse thing is that the kitchen is infested with cockroaches and has a foul smell.

• Judy (5/5): Reasonable after an hour's hasdlectrying to get in - No breakfast. Impossible instructions to follow to get into the facility. It was written in broken English. Gentleman who answered the phone was hard to understand. 2 doors that led to a stinky storeroom were hard to open. No light on hallway to see the numbers on the lockbox. Had to go back down to the car for a torch to open unit. Cockaroaches in loungeroom running around. No air con. The access. See above.

• Winnie (5/5): It was an extremely disappointing venue to stay in and i will not recommend this place to anyone - My sister Winnie Mujunen and I chose this venue for its location and this was the only good thing about it.. The unit is infested with cockroaches!! They were seen running across the floor and walls in the lounge and bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom day and night. I did avoid going into the kitchen at night because so many cockroaches were on the kitchen bench! Extremely unhygienic. This needs immediate attention The shower rack is rusty. Really?? Does one think hat this is acceptable?
• Katherine (8/5): Comfortable and convenient for the 11 nights stay. Highly recommended. - Excellent location; good functional kitchen. Good facilities and clean. The front door jammed and take effort to push opened/ closed. The kitchen tap dripped, despite effort to tighten.

The door needs fixing. It is very noisy and sticks, causing a neighbour to come out and check. The shower tiling Lack of top sheet Tv can't be tuned apart from channel 7 unless there are instructions somewhere not obvious
• Kim (7/5): Good stay - Nice little neat apartment. Not enough towels for the number of people booked. Sofa bed for the kids was not comfortable.
• Rahim (3/5): Poor - The unit was not adequately cleaned for guests--we had to mop the floor and toilet several times. The linens could be better in quality. No air con; at least a portable fan should be available for the main bedroom. Replacing the light fittings and wall pictures and arranging lights at the entrance, doorbell, unused toiletries, and adequately cleaned linens could make this unit more worthy. The owner was good, and the utensils were not very good but adequate. It is very close to Macquarie University, a hospital, and a metro station, but not expensive.
• Peter (8/5): Basically good apart from the door issues and the lack of sound insulation. - Clean, well lit, close to good public transport and large shopping centre. The instructions for opening the front door with the keys were confusing. There was reference to two different locks, but there were three locks and what looked like it was supposed to be an arrow pointing to a lock was just a line, and it was unclear what it was supposed to be pointing to, or even if it referred to a lock. Also once unlocked, the front door was very hard to push open, a frail person would probably not be able to open it, or could be injured trying to open it. Another issue is the noise coming from street traffic and from other units. Even though no one was noisy while I was there, I could hear sounds like water flushing, doors opening and people moving about.

They don't build them like this anymore. Good cross ventilation. Good Wifi. A heater for winter and fans for summer would be a nice addition.
