- Russ (6/5): We didn't get the apartment we booked - The apartment we got was nice, but not spectacular. It suited our needs and gave us an opportunity to relax, but it was not the apartment we booked. Having a washing machine was great as we got caught up with laundry, and the host was good at communicating with us. We booked this at the last minute because another apartment let us down very late in the day. That's why we were astonished to be given a different address and shown to a different apartment. For the price we felt it should have been a but more luxurious. It was fine, but at the price you expect a bit more than fine. The major concern was being asked to cancel our booking after moving into the apartment. It felt like a bit of a scam to avoid paying Booking.com fees.
