Guest Reviews
- Melanie (7/5): Night away - Nice enough place, tidy beds tidy/comfy, good views of london. Needs an update, two glasses, oven not very clean, aswell as pots n pans. Kitchen needs a good clean.surprise desert from previous guests in fridge! Window in 1st bedroom doesn't open. Broken. No Aur con as advertised.
- Foster (10/5): It was a lovely experience we had a lovely time thank you - I liked how roomy it was it was a lovely view especially for the sunset the decor was beautiful Some of the hinges for the cupboards were loose and there was no cups so had to buy some and one of the bedroom window wouldn’t open, we couldn’t find the sofa bed
- Nyrika (8/5): Lovely Stay - The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures - clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable night’s stay as well as street parking. It had a really sweet charm and felt like a home away from home. The host was responsive, friendly, and helped us promptly with all our questions. Overall, it was lovely and we’d definitely book again! The curtains let a lot of light in & it could do with a fan for the hotter months
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (7/5): Not the best but not the worst! - It was comfortable and spacious. Flat screen tv with access to Netflix, etc. The bed was comfortable. The area was not particularly good. Old industrial area which is being developed. Large building site just across the road. The view from the main balcony was a wasteland. It was a bit tired. The kitchen doors did not close properly and either needed replacing or refurbishing. There was one mug (no cups) and 3 glasses in the kitchen. I contacted the owner, who said he would deliver some more cups but never turned up. The pillow cases were very creased and could have done with an iron. The towels were old. The curtains were very thin, which let light in in the morning. The bedroom windows had safety locks on which could not be opened. There is no air conditioning, although it is stated in the list of facilities. There were rusty plant pots hanging from the balcony. Toiletries had been left in the bathroom. The apartment was not available at the stated time.
In conclusion, l think that it is a good space in a poor area that would benefit from some TLC.
- Sriyal (9/5): Nice place to stay when you’re in London. - Privacy and the location Nothing
- Kam (8/5): Very good -
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional - Andrew was an amazing host and the apartment was spotless and had everything you could offer!! Would really recommend to anyone staying in London. A taxi to London city is only about 20 mins and the location of the apartment was perfect. Beds were also very comfy!!
- Ioannis (1/5): Stay away! - 1. Filthy and smelly apartment
2. Unprofessional owner's attitude
3. The owner had left the washing machine on, washing somebody else's clothes - left there wet during our 4 day stay.
3. Limited supply of towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Only one towel per person.
4. Public parking only. Difficult to find empty space
5. Stay away
- Charlotte (1/5): Do not stay, not safe. - Nothing.
We had no choice but to stay. Dirty, the shower smelt, location in the middle of a council estate. Witnessed a mugging on the way there. Still have no compensation or money back.
In the depth of east London and not a safe area to stay if you are not from around the area. The apartment looks like it is a private residence not a managed apartment. The officer warned us about walking through, and to walk around as it is well known for mugging and crime. NOT SAFE.
Still have an ongoing investigation with booking.com to receive a refund but nothing has happened.
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - Balcony view of the city was beautiful
- Candice (8/5): Very good -
- Ivars (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location
- Andrew (3/5): Lost cost roof over your head for a short stay at best. - The location was handy for the o2 and it was low cost. The property felt like student accommodation, the furniture is old and damaged. It wasn’t clean or well equipped. It feels as tho the owner stays elsewhere when they have a booking. The owners toiletries are still around the property and the whole place feels unloved. The windows don’t close properly and the heating doesn’t work
- Charlie (5/5): Robbed and disappointing. - At first glance the place looks really nice and the bedrooms were quite nice. There were so many problems we had with this property.
We arrived at the place and it was on the seventh floor, the lift was broken. It would have been fine if we didn't have one of our party members 8 months pregnant.
Once getting into the property, we immediately found a plastic bag full of dirty plates and takeaway containers. Then, we went to get glasses out for some drinks and the whole shelf fell out of the cupboard and pretty much all the glasses and mugs fell out and smashed which was being opened by our 8 month pregnant friend. Luckily, there was no major injury and just scratches but it could have been a lot worse.
The following morning there was no hot water and I messaged the property asking for advice about the boiler on which they responded only with the location of the boiler and nothing else so nobody had a hot shower that morning.
The curtains in the bedrooms were PAPER thin so it was difficult to sleep in the light.
To top it off the bathroom door did not shut and we found dirty tissues shoved down the side of the sofas. We expressed our concerns to the property and got no response. Once reporting to booking.com they were also as helpful as a paper spoon.
For £170 a night I would not recommend. I was robbed for that price.
- Ala (7/5): Good - Good space, views Over 4 floors of stairs to get to the property and host didn't inform that elevator is not working
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Holmes (6/5): Pleasant - Comfortable space. Decorated nice. Bathroom door damaged. Couldn't shut the door without really struggling to get out.
Lift out of order so had to climb 7 flights of stairs
- Pichappillil (5/5): Passable -
- Fatih (1/5): Bad - Title: Disappointing Stay with Numerous Issues
We had a very disappointing experience during our stay at this apartment. Here are the main issues we faced:
1. Apartment on 7th Floor, Lift Out of Order: The lift was out of service throughout our stay, which made it extremely inconvenient to carry luggage up seven flights of stairs.
2. Poor Cleaning Standards: The apartment was not cleaned properly. There were stains and hair on the floor, and the entire place had a bad smell.
3. Windows Not Airtight: The windows were not sealed properly, which let in cold air and noise, making the stay uncomfortable.
4. Dirty Bed Sheets and Towels: The bed sheets provided were dirty, and the towels were wet, which was unacceptable.
5. Leftover Belongings: Belongings of previous guests were still in the bathroom, which showed a lack of attention to cleanliness.
6. Bathroom Issues: The bathroom door handle was broken, and mold in the shower cabin added to the discomfort.
7. Damaged Furniture: Several pieces of furniture in the apartment were damaged, adding to the overall impression of neglect.
8. Hot Water Problems: Having hot water was inconsistent—it was a hit or miss.
9. Dirty Balcony: The ashtray on the balcony was dirty and filled with cigarette butts, which should have been cleaned before our arrival.
Overall, the apartment was poorly maintained, and these issues made our stay very uncomfortable. It’s clear that management needs to put in more effort to improve the cleanliness and functionality of the apartment. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until these problems are addressed.
- Eliza (1/5): Property was filthy, stank, appeared not to have been cleaned for weeks, had broken lock and lift. - Nothing The room was 7th floor (14 flights) and the lift was out of order when we arrived at 3pm and still out of order when we left at 9am the following morning.
The fridge had half eaten food from the previous occupant in it.
The furniture, fixtures and fittings were worn, dirty and gave it an air of neglect.
The room smelt of cigarette smoke.
The bathroom door could not be closed without the lock jamming and you been stuck inside - you can see from previous reviews years ago this had been reported and clearly not repaired.
The standard of cleaning was poor there was dust and grime on almost all surfaces and you could not walk without shoes on around the apartment without getting dirty.
Oddly Christmas decorations were still up (16th January) leaving me wondering if anyone had properly serviced the accommodation for weeks.
- Kog (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (5/5): Disappointed - Fantastic views Lift broken- 7 floors! Reason we booked!
- Taranjit (7/5): Good -
- Miya (9/5): Very nice, thank you very much! - It's a comfortable and cozy place, only 15 min away from the dlr East India. Elevator to the 7th floor made it easy for us. Me and my friends had a good time. We booked for 5 and had no access to the sheets for the one on the couch until the next day after asking about it. The clean sheets were clean but... kinda unorganised in the closet. It was resolved quickly, so just a minor inconvenience.
- Nikki (7/5): London stay - The apartment itself was very nice , the aesthetics and the view were great. Apartment was clean, however very noticeable smoke odour, mainly in the kitchen area.
space for 5 person but needed extra bedding for sofa and towels.

- Wendy (9/5): Superb - Great value, bedding for sofa bed needs be little more substantial, towels for 5 great just addhandyowel for bathroom good vale and helpful host Location single mattress not ok for unadulterated, sorry Andy, but still great value x
- Norbert (5/5): Passable - Great views, nice host. Could drop luggage early. The furniture was worn and tired, parts of the flat were dirty (cupholder of the massage chair and the shower was full of bodyhair). Water temperature was unreliable everywhere, missing lightbulb in living room. Balcony lights not functioning.
- Boo (9/5): Short taxi ride from the o2 - 2 bedrooms in a quiet location, not too far from the o2 arena. The lift and the views across London No nearby, walking distance restaurants or shops
- Keir (9/5): Superb -
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (6/5): Affordable accommodation for London , easy to Uber from - Was a good price and property was clean The location is very isolated and was disappointed we couldn’t walk anywhere from it , the curtains in the bedrooms need to be thicker the sunlight came straight in first thing
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Alaa (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Great Host, lovely family apartment - The property was clean and comfortable and had everything available for a nice family weekend Tbh, the surround area let it down but that’s nothing to do with property itself.
- Mark (9/5): The perfect home from home - A safe, comfortable apartment, nicely furnished and perfect for a family staying for a few days.
- Shane (9/5): Superb - Location wasnt the best but the hosts and the flat was very good.
All amenities included and shops not far away.

- Razak (8/5): Very good -
- Mo (10/5): Perfection with an amazing host - Such a cute place that consisted of an amazing view, as I did book it on the same day as I checked in, I was worried that the pictures wouldn’t match in real life, however it’s a perfect place to stay at There really isn’t any complaints.
