Sleeping before 3-4 a.m. was impossible due to drunk crowds. The windows were awful—you could hear everything like they were in the room. The bathroom was filthy; I cleaned it myself since there was no housekeeping. The bed sheets had leftover false eyelashes, clearly not cleaned. It’s cheap, but slightly pricier options are much cleaner.

It was incredibly noisy from the corridor (guests walking or opening/closing doors) and you could easily hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms. Like EVERY private activity. Impossible to get a good night's sleep. Noise, no window and AC turning off every hour by itself.

When I checked in at 10 AM, the room I chose was unavailable, so I was upgraded to a deluxe double room. The hotel is clean and the location is excellent. Nothing.

From previous reviews of the accommodation, we had read that the noise was significant, but we thought it would hopefully be fine. Unfortunately, it turned out to be true — the noise from outside was really very noticeable.
• Najihah (8/5): Value for money - The staffs are so helpful, very good english command and even let early check-in if the room is available. One of the staff upgraded my room for free after seeing me coming with a lot of bags. Thank you. Location wise is 9/10 because it is just 2-minutes walk to the Omer Hayyyem bustop and 2-minutes walk to Istiqlal Street. The only downside it is located very near to bar/pub. Thus it is very noisy at night. Plus if you are a muslim or women, you may find it uncomfortable with the surroundings at night because of the drug smell and drunk people. The location is amazing you can really enjoy the lively nights of Istiklal Street. The breakfast was fresh and enough for a good start to the day, especially with the coffee. All the facilities you may need are available, the WiFi works well, hot and cold water are always available, and the pillows and beds are comfortable. But the most important thing for me was the cleanliness. Thank you guys for the great hospitality!

• Lange (4/5): Die guten Bewertungen haben eine Erwartung geschaffen, die das Hotel absolut nicht erfüllt. - Sehr sehr nettes Personal an der Rezeption, habe sehr nette Gespräche mit denen geführt. Lage direkt an der Istikal Einkaufsstr., 10min. zu Fuß zum Taksim Platz, 15min. zum Galata Turm - man ist voll im Zentrum. Aus der Leitung war das Wasser Chlor-haltig, aber es gab neben der Rezeption einen Wasserspender kostenlos 24/7. Zudem habe ich für 4 Übernachtungen etwa 100 € bezahlt - es war also vergleichsweise günstig. Sehr viel Schimmel im Badezimmer und schlecht gereinigt. Ich bin mit einem Handtuch an den Fliesen lang und das war danach dunkel (habe das auch dem Rezeptionisten gezeigt). Es wurde dann nochmal gereinigt, aber das war immernoch schlimm. Das Personal sagte es liegt am alten Gebäude und die Lage unweit des Flusses/Meeres - das mag stimmen, aber es war auch einfach schlecht gereinigt. Es gibt auch Luftentfeuchter, und man kann Silikon auch mal erneuern wenn es schwarz ist, und man Fugen mit ner Bürste reinigen - das war unglaublich schmutzig. Dementsprechend modrig riecht es auch im Zimmer - ich hab zuhause erstmal gemerkt wie vermodert meine kompletten Klamotten gerochen haben. Der Abzug im Bad scheint zu Schwach. Auch wenn der die ganze Nach lief war die Luftfeuchtigkeit wie nach dem Duschen, und die Fliesen waren noch nass. Mein Zimmer hatte kein Außenfenster, nur ein kleines Fenster - aber das ging zum Treppenhaus hin auf. Das ist für den Schimmel und die Luftfeuchtigkeit ne Katastrophe, wegen der Lage war es dafür aber immerhin leise. Hätte der Abzug im Bad gut funktioniert wäre es halb so schlimm Bett ziemlich weich - für 4 Tage gings, aber länger hätte ich das nicht ausgehalten, ich bin aber auch ein schwerer Junge. Zimmer recht klein und kein Tisch zum sitzen - aber für den Preis verkraftbar.

• ohne (7/5): - Es war sehr günstig hatte Glück gehabt für diesen Preis das Zimmer zu Bekommen vergleichbare Hotels waren fast das doppelte im Preis Verhältnis. Frühstück war OK nicht viel Auswahl aber es genügt Das Hotel ist an eine neben Straße von der berühmten istiklal caddesi etwa 200 m zu Fuss entfernt Hatte angenommen dass das Zimmer ohne zu erwähnen sauber gemacht wird erst am dritten Tag nach dem ich frische Handtücher wollte wurde mir mitgeteilt das ich nach service aufräumen mitteilen muss. Ablüftung system in der Toilette zu viel zu Laut so war es in meinem Zimmer wie die andere Räumlichkeiten sind kann nichts darüber sagen
