• Frankie (4/5): Disappointing - Pros: great location and apartment itself is beautiful and quiet. Comfortable bed and linens. Here are the facts we wished we had so you can make an informed decision. The management company is terrible. Lack of hot water for a day with no response. No response to any requests on weekends and we had to figure out how to fix it. Washing machine does not work--there is mold in the machine and a very strong smell so likely not a new problem. Clothing does not get clean. Management sent the cleaning lady (who was wonderful) to fix it instead of a repair technician. While she cleaned out the filter, this is not what is needed to fix the machine. It is old and broken and needs to be replaced. If you are expecting to do laundry during your stay, you will need to send it out. Of note, there is an elevator but the apartment is a penthouse. It takes you to the 5th floor and then there is an additional flight of stairs to the entrance. This isn’t a dealbreaker but if you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage, you might want to know that. There are very basic amenities. One laundry pod provided, 3 coffee pods, 2 toilet paper rolls, no paper towels, no extra trash bags or kitchen towels. For a short stay this is fine, but for 9 days we would have wanted to know this in order to plan time for shopping to get these items and additional costs. Wifi is only good if you are in the same room or nearby. The apartment is large and needs a simple and inexpensive fix of an extender. We were both working during the day with one person in the second bedroom where the wifi does not reach. Management suggested to turn on/off router which did not help. This apartment could be really great as it’s a beautiful and well designed space. But not having basics sours the experience. As someone who has rented out their apartment, this just makes sense so the people staying there can clean up and take care of the place. This is not a hotel or a vacation rental: it’s simple an apartment (a beautiful one) that has no amenities.

What about flat - I think that you should stay here once and you will be wordless as me). Great rooftop which can present you stunning Milano sunset! Highly recommended)
