• lukeharold (9/5): Great hotel, lovely pool, friendly staff. - Great hotel. We had a lovely stay. Gros is a really nice area with lots to see and do. I'd definitely recommend this hotel although it's a slightly longer walk to Old Town for those unable to walk longer distances. It was good for us as we could walk off the extra calories from the amazing town.

• igor (9/5): great stay with nice staff - Very nice hotel, not to far from old town - 15 - 20 minutes walk which I don't mind as I enjoy walking, loved the free coffee machine, great swimming pool although weather wansnt great when we were there, very nice rooms, staff super friendly paying for parking when you are already paying quite a bit for the room but appreciate there isn't a lot of spaces and no parking close by, would be nice to have a proper bar to enjoy an evening drink as there is none.

• Laurence (8/5): Un hôtel agréable et confortable - Accueil chaleureux, jolie chambre spacieuse et bonne literie, grande salle de bain, petit déjeuner varié et bon, possibilité de petit déjeuner dehors, parking très pratique car pas de possibilité de se garer facilement dans la rue en tant qu’étranger. Il serait appréciable d’avoir des gobelets dans la salle de bain et de vérifier le fonctionnement dû sèche-cheveux. Prix du parking.

• Dylan (9/5): would highly recommend and we will certainly return. - Staff were all very friendly and helpful with advice on tourist attractions etc. We loved the hotel and its location to the town and attractions. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed was not having coffee/tea making facilities in the room but the tea/coffee machines made up for this and was only a short trip to reception in the morning.

We thought the price for the Rioja was by the glass. Turns out it was for the bottle!! If I’m being super picky the hairdryer was less than useful. It kept cutting out which made drying my hair a bit of a nightmare

• Amiek H (9/5): Niet verder zoeken, dit hotel is top! - Wat een heerlijke plek was dit. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam. De kamer was fantastisch met een erg mooi groot terras. Dat je tot 12.00 uur kon uitchecken was erg fijn. De handdoeken die beschikbaar waren bij het zwembad. Allemaal pure luxe! De afstand naar het strand is 10 minuten lopen en in de wijk waar het hotel is, zijn restaurantjes geen probleem.

• 84RT (8/5): Beautiful villa with very friendly staff and superbe breakfast - It was a great hotel, a bit far from the centre, but we knew this upfront of course. Breakfast was superbe although 1 coffee machine broke down and the last day of our stay, the main chef (man) was not around and the lady that should prepare breakfast was late... that spoiled my autistic approach to great breakfast - to have the SUPERBE Club Sandwhich after my fruit, yoghurt, and eggs... All in all great place to go to That the lady who should have breakfast ready on day 3 was late (well over 8 o' clock)

When we had a small problem it was sorted immediately. Quiet efficient AC. Quiet location with garage parking (at a price), walkable to everywhere. Gros seafront 10 minutes, 25 minutes old town. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes. The pool is not heated even though their website says it is. Found the duvet/bedding was too polyester for us and made us hot at night. Mattress firmer than I like but that's a personal thing.

• Mario (10/5): Muy bueno, limpio y amplio. Gran relación calidad precio - Hotel amplio, habitaciones grandes, espaciosas y con múltiples huecos para dejar el equipaje. Ofrecen bebidas del minibar gratuitamente. Personal amable. Un defecto que encontré es el hecho de que no exista un servicio de recepción 24 horas. De todos modos existe un teléfono de urgencias 24 horas, que gracias a Dios no tuve que utilizar. Entiendo que esta práctica no es exclusiva de este hotel y actualmente se está expandiendo, pero desde mi punto de vista, debería de ser obligatorio por Ley.

• Lisa (9/5): It would be the first place I would think of to stay again if I was in San Sebastian - What a charming property. Breakfast was very good, and the staff is exceptional. It was elegant and refined. The rooms were a little small, but peaceful.

• Jomo58 (8/5): Gutes Hotel mit nächtlichem Hintergrundrauschen - Großes, sauberes Zimmer und Bad. Bequemes Bett. Hotel ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig von der Altstadt. Freundliches Personal. Bequemer online Check-in und Check-out. Guter Preis im Vergleich zu näher an der Altstadt gelegenen und damit auch wesentlich lauteren Unterkünften. Das Frühstücksbuffet sah sehr vielseitig und umfangreich aus. Aber 17 Euro pro Person war uns dann doch etwas überteuert. Wir hatten ein konstantes Rauschen im Zimmer (Nummer 205). Anfangs haben wir es nicht so störend empfunden und deshalb das Zimmer nicht sofort gewechselt. Aber nachts war es leider nur mit Ohrstöpsel zu ertragen. Es klang wie eine sehr laute, dauerhaft laufende Lüftung oder Pumpe. Wir haben nicht herausgefunden, woher das Rauschen kam. Es schien aus dem Nachbarzimmer zu kommen, vielleicht verläuft zwischen den Zimmern auch eine Abluftleitung.
• Nicola (10/5): Overnight stopover en route to France - This hotel is spotless, beautifully decorated, welcoming and exceptional rooms. The bar area is stunning as is the pool area. Staff friendly and helpful. Onsite secure parking in a huge passcode entry garage was a huge bonus as we had electric bikes in our van. We didnt have breakfast but it looked plentiful and a good variety. The complimentary coffee machine and tea is a lovely additional free service. I enjoyed the coffee before we headed on our journey. Book it you wont regret I wish we were here longer! Nothing its perfect

• Edith (10/5): Ein Juwel  - Vom Personal über die Ausstattung des Hauses bis zum phänomenalen Frühstücksbuffet, das wir selten so liebevoll und variationsreich erlebt haben, gilt es nur zu loben. Die Zimmer klein, aber stilvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Dusche modern und großzügig. Perfekt die Lage, so dass die Innenstadt von San Sebastian fußläufig zu erreichen ist oder aber auch eine Bushaltestelle fast vor der Haustür zu finden ist. Da fällt uns nichts ein.

Nous avons pu profiter de la belle piscine et du petit déjeuner qui était délicieux :) Il y a un parking ce qui est idéal, nous avons laissé la voiture le temps du séjour et avons tout fait à pied. • jacqueline (8/5): Goed schoon hotel tegen betaalbare prijs. - Fijne ruime rustige kamers. Heel schoon. Ligt op stukje loopafstand van centrum maar daar wisten we en kozen we bewust voor. Konden de auto vrij parkeren in de omgeving. Jammer dat beide thee/koffiemachines waar je gebruik van kan maken het niet deden. Dat was nou net even jammer bij ons ochtend ritueel. Dat was eigenlijk het enige minpunt.

• Catherine (10/5): A very efficient hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms and facilities. - Villa Eugenia is a really smart and well organised hotel. The service was impeccable and everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The ‘help yourself’ hot drinks station in the lounge area was a good touch and the breakfast selection (for an additional cost) was excellent. The location was a bit of a walk from the centre of San Sebastián but it did mean it was quiet and we also got to explore a wider area of the town.

• Stefan (2/5): Far too expensive for what you got. - The room was riddled with ants. As there was no staff after 10 and we arrived after 11 from our dinner, there was nobody to contact. When I complained the next morning, the receptionist did not even react. The place is miles away from the centre, so location is not at all as described. See above
• Martina (10/5): Bellissimo soggiorno - Hotel curato in ogni dettaglio. Camera confortevole e silenziosa. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente la presenza del parcheggio coperto e la zona relax comune all’ingresso. La posizione è molto comoda, vicina alla spiaggia e a un quarto d’ora a piedi dal centro storico. Il quartiere è molto piacevole.

Genial poderse tomar un café o una infusión sin cargo en el hall en algún momento del día. El precio del parking podría ajustarse más. Llegamos por la tarde y nos fuimos a las 11h del día siguiente y fueron 26€, 13€ por jornada. Las mesitas dobles de desayuno son muy pequeñitas. Sería estupendo que fueran un poquito más amplias y cómodas.
