• Edel (10/5): Lovely place to stay, very clean and with the adjoining restaurant for dinner and breakfast, so reasonable too - Lovely property, room and bathroom were immaculate. Water and toiletries supplied. There was a communal kitchen that you could use and a supermarket across the road. They had a restaurant adjoining too at a very reasonable cost, and a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Great location. The communal kitchen could be noisy with other people eating a cooking. We did request a double and were provided two small singles, not ideal.

• Mark (10/5): GREAT STAFF - Extremely Comfortable- Great Value - The staff are fantastic from the girl who checks you in and the people who help you along and especially our “Dominican Amiga” - who helped us do our laundry. We are very grateful. We stayed at the ground floor bedroom in the house where the ATM is out front (next to the restaurant). The room and bathroom was spacious, the shower was awesome, the towels were soft, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel/Albergue is located towards the beginning of the Camino and it’s directly on the Camino. Meaning, it was a great location. We had a great night sleep and we would recommend this place to anybody, anytime and we would absolutely stay here again. Nothing.

The common area has a beautiful kitchen with coffee available. This is separate from the large albergue next door, but you can use their facilities too. The room is above a large lively bar that can get loud - but it was completely quiet by 9:00 pm.

Tout était impeccablement propre : la chambre spacieuse et confortable, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, et la literie d’une qualité irréprochable. Chaque détail témoigne du soin apporté à l’accueil et au confort des pélerins. La localisation est idéale sur le Chemin, et l’accueil de Pablo a été remarquable. Dès nos échanges avant le Chemin, il a su répondre avec patience et gentillesse à toutes nos questions, donnant de précieux conseils pour préparer notre étape. Il nous a notamment recommandé une entreprise de transport de bagages, qui s’est révélée efficace et sérieuse, rendant notre parcours beaucoup plus facile. Sur place, il est resté attentif et chaleureux, faisant de notre séjour une expérience particulièrement agréable et sans souci.

• David (10/5): This was a very pleasant stay while walking the Camino. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made the booking in process very easy. They offered the use of their laundry facilities (for a small price) which was most useful for us.
• Laura (9/5): A lovely place to relax in Triacastela - The location of the pensión was perfect, right in the heart of Triacastela. The property has just three rooms, and ours was one of two upstairs. The decor was restful and understated, with an extraordinary feature sink of Galician stone in the bathroom and the hostess (María?) was so empathetic and welcoming (reception is in Complexo Xacobeo, a few doors up), as were the other members of staff who helped me sort out a washing machine snafu and my husband to fix a blister. It might be my favourite stay on the Camino so far:peaceful yet right next to the restaurant where most pilgrims eat and the special social vibe of the Camino. Nothing I didn’t like.

• Rachel (7/5): Probably the best place to stay in Triacastela - We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and accommodation in Triacastela (a small village) is quite limited, so the Boutique Vila (a small house with 3 x separate bedrooms and private bathrooms) was probably the best option. Staff were friendly and bathroom had nice toiletries. The room and bed was very clean. The bed was not that comfortable and the bedding (pillow and blanket) were poor quality which meant we didn't sleep that well...but it was OK!

Location was perfect in village center, lots of nearby food options including the attached very good restaurant open at 6am for breakfast. I would stay here again. My room window was right on the street and next to an ATM bank machine where pilgrims and others congregate and make a lot of noise until fairly late at night. If it were hot it would be a problem to keep the window open since anyone could gain access to the room through it.

This building is co-located with a restaurant where had our lunch and dinner meals - decent food overall and nice not to have to walk far in the rain. Overall, good value for money - we would definitely stay here again. The pillows on each bed were decorative and not comfortable for sleeping - would recommend having plusher/fluffier pillows for sleeping because the decorative pillows felt like sleeping on a rock.
