- Hauke (3/5): Das Gebietum Valencia ist eine mehr oder weniger Betonwüste mit vielen Hotelbunkern. Das Haus ist in einem schlechten Zu - Nahe am Meer.
Gute Klimaanlagen, auch in den Schlafzimmern.
Bei Ankunft wurde das Haus elektronisch aufgeschlossen, hier reibungsloser Ablauf. Leider vieles.
Es war sehr schmutzig. Der Fußboden war versifft. Müll unter den Betten.
Das Haus ist am verfallen und benötigt eine Grundrenovierung. Es roch stickig und moderig.
Der angekündigte Garten war eine gefliesste kleine Fläche mit teilweise kaputten herausgebrochenen Steinen, und eine kleine sehr schmutzige Grillmöglichkeit. Der Zugang zum sogenannten Garten über die Tür in der Küche war kaputt das Eisengitter dahinter abgesperrt.
Die Küche stand unter Strom. Stromschäge durch die Abzugshaube, Toaster und Backofen, der zudem auch nicht funktionierte.
Der angekündigte private Pool war nicht privat, sondern ein Kommunenpool, den man über die Straße erreichte. Allerdings war der Pool sauber und groß.
- Anna (3/5): Misrepresentation of real state of property - be careful. - The location by the beach was very convenient, this was the main positive point about the stay. The managers were responsive most of the time but scheduling issues led to issues remaining unresolved. We have been in contact with the property owners/managers with the state of the property when we arrived and throughout our stay that in no way matched the condition we were promised and what was reflected in the advertisement.
1. Private pool - the pool was advertised as private which was the main reason for our stay in this property. A private pool also would justify a higher price than other properties on the website. This was very misleading and we were shocked to find out it is communal within a number of properties in the area. The managers initially stated it was a language barrier/ cultural misunderstanding that the pool was ‘not public’ meaning private. After some discussion, the property owners apologised and acknowledged that the advertisement should be changed.
2. Cleanliness and state of the property - the property was not cleaned property or aired out adequately. The kitchen was dirty (drain had food and the washing machine was filthy and covered in a thick layer of dust). The bottom floor where the garage and bedroom is clearly smells very strongly of mould. The barbeque is completely covered in rust and unusable and also concerning to health, we did not use it. Overall, we reported this to the managers and they apologised and offered for the property to be cleaned again. We actually cleaned the property though ourselves because we did not want disruption and maintenance that should’ve been done in the first place before we arrived. The oven was not working and the washing machine is clearly extremely old.
3. Advertising works due to commence in the property - After we booked and paid for the property, we were sent an attachment by email the week of our stay which briefly and in small font stated that the property will undergo renovations after our stay so as it was a recent acquisiton. This was not apparent anywhere on the advertisement.
