• RETNA MALA (4/5): We have had stayed in other properties and this apartment is below the expectations and experiences compared to previous - Location Carpet - not very clean, sofa faux covers - stained . Beds -mattresses were very uncomfortable in all rooms. When u lie down, mattress slopes down. No covers for duvet. Unable to get a good sleep. Kitchen cutleries , pots n pans were rusty and totally unusable. Setup of microwave, kettle - electrical points were not user friendly, Rice cooker and coffee maker would have been an advantage . Other properties provide them. Fridge - too small for a family of 6 Insufficient toiletries , no top up of them for a week. For safety reasons, don’t recall seeing - a fire extinguisher.

• JINGYU (4/5): Left a lot to be desired. - The view of the room is great. The location is near CBD. A woolworths is just beside the building and easy for daily supplement. We need to get the key from the locker in another place (5min walk). There is only one key for three couples to share, which is very inconvenience. We tried to call/leave message to the owner/agent, but not even got any reply. Our departure flight was very early in the morning. We were up for an unpleasant surprise when we went to return the keys at 5am - the designated spot wasn't scheduled to open until 6am. This was incredibly inconvenient. Poor cleanliness. The wardrobe had several bags of rubbish and left-behind items from the last guest, a clear sign that housekeeping had overlooked it.

Host did fix problems after we contacted them We initially on arrival had only one key for three couples to share . Four forks and five knifes were supplied for six people to share . Miss matched plates provided to use . When host contacted he stated he was aware of our complaint and that previous tenants had lost keys and utensils . Our complaint was if he was aware of this why not fix problems before we arrived . We needed to unstack the dishwasher on arrival . Cigarette butts were still on the floor of the balcony. Walls were very marked and dirty . Overall very disappointed with what we found in a sub penthouse apartment

• Brie (4/5): Overall disappointing for money and because it’s described as luxury. - Water pressure was good. Bathrooms felt clean. Beds were comfortable (not pillows) city’s lights were pretty at night. Elevators take a very long time The apartment had an odour upon arrival Furniture- couches are covered in fluffy rugs/mats to cover up dirtyness and aging underneath. Broken dining room table chair leg.. chair is unusable. Things felt grotty. Lots of fake flowers around the place that are grotty looking. Glassware in cupboard and coffee cups not very clean. Infact all kitchen utensils seemed dirty. No hand soap in any bathroom. No kitchen dish clothes. Only tea towels. remote control for blind was dirty. Guest information booklet was dirty and old, needs freshening up Pool area is very very disappointing. It’s a very small tank style pool. The glass is so dirty you can not see thru it. The sun lounges have holes all thru them and it’s a very uninviting area. Level 7 that the pool and gym is on has a very strong yucky odour. All surfaces felt dirt in apartment. Furniture could 100% be improved by making it more modern. I would definitely not describe the apartment as luxury. There are 2 balconies. Neither are inviting. There is no furniture on any of them. Just a mop and bucket left out there. Inside the wardrobes looks messy and junk and vacuums in there. Lamps broken Some pillows were so soft and some were rock hard Black fluffy blankets everywhere didn’t seem like they would be cleaned regularly.
