- Katherine (10/5): Awesome view - The view first of all out our window spectacular
The apartment was very charming
Great Host. Good communication
Accommodating . Nothing
- Cynthia (10/5): Best view in city - The apartment is so lovely and view was incredible No complaints
- Nirvik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Rhonda (10/5): Best view, location and price! - The apartment is perfectly located close to the heart of the city. Close to shops and entertainment. It has a magnificent view.
- Daniela (7/5): Good - The location and the view is amazing, and the apartment is very nice and clean Unfortunately there are some silverfishes in the bathroom. It’s my second stay in the apartment, June and November and it’s the same problem. It’s very common in apartments on the river. The staff was super kind when I addressed my concerns and they send immediately somebody to check.
The other thing I don’t like is that the air conditioning in the bedroom doesn’t work and the window can’t be open.
That’s a shame because that place could be one of the best to stay in Florence.
- Ako (7/5): Loved the view and location but apartment needs a bit of maintenance! - AMAZING VIEW! We booked this apartment for New Year’s Eve and believe we had the best view in all Florence. You could watch the fireworks at the river plus, see the amazing light show on the Ponte Vecchio, it was magical! Very responsive, kind and helpful host, had an amazing stay. The apartment definitely needs some maintenance and care. Furniture etc could really use some
upgrade. I also believe that some little tweaks might make a difference. Usually in apartments that we book there is always some basics like salt and pepper, some olive oil etc which is helpful when you have to cook for your baby. Or a pack of coffe or water. Just little details that make your stay a bit more comfortable, but we couldn’t even find tabs to start the dishwasher. The apartment feels a bit “empty”
- Esta (7/5): Fantastic location.stunning views. - The views and location is amazing. Stunning parquet floors and high ceilings, it’s beautiful and charming. Great supermarket opposite, lovely gelato next door and taxi stand 2 mins walk. Slightly dated and old fashioned but typically Italian. The owner was brilliant with communication and very helpful.
- Philippa (8/5): Great location, near all the sights and fantastic restaurants - Fabulous position Group of three, single plus couple. The double bedroom and shared bathroom was accessed through the single bed room.
- David (4/5): Location does not make up for lack of attention given to the basics. - The location and view was all we liked. The toilet didn't flush. Instructions were given close to arrival, while we were travel, and not 24hrs in advance like others. Then lock box code could be delivered closer to check-in. VERY noisey room! No sound proofing from 5am supermarket deliveries across the road. Street sweepers, noisey tourist all hours, we hardly got any sleep. Bathroom tap dripped constantly. The bathroom needs updating and windows need to be soundproofed.
- Amanda (8/5): Perfect location, stunning view - By far it's most charming feature is the location and views. I could not stop looking out of the window! It is in the perfect place to easily reach all of the sites on foot within 10 to 15 minutes. Lovely coffee shop and super market on the doorstop. It was easy to make contact with the agents, Simona who let us in was friendly and gave us all the information we needed about the accommodation. Wifi was good. Very clean, hand soaps and washing up liquid provided, lovely fresh towels and bedding. There were a couple of things in the apartment that could use some attention, one of the toilets didn't flush but luckily there was a second. The small bed is very uncomfortable, it sags and moves, I found the couch was more comfortable. It was a little tired and would benefit from freshening up, although having said that it is in a traditional style in keeping with its location and was very clean so you can look past the decor. The main door into the apartment, although very secure, could be difficult to lock and unlock.
We did have a problem with mosquitos (not the fault of the apartment, probably to do with the season or proximity to the river) but would highly recommend taking repellents with you as we were bitten every night.
- Barakina (10/5): Exceptional - It is a very nice location with a beautiful view. Location is centered but there is no any noise disturbance at night. Flat was very clean and hosts are lovely and helpful. Plenty of nice cafe around to eat, supermarket on the door step if you want to buy fruits or anything. So would recommend to anyone.
- Reynold (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible location Lack of air conditioning across the apartment
- Miichelle (6/5): Charming view and location but very basic accommodation - The location was great as well as the property manager, who was quick to respond and very helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable and needed a mattress cover for hygiene.
- Maree (6/5): This apartment was in a great location but would I suggest it to friends or stay again, I don't thi - The location of this property is wonderful and the views are just as wonderful. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and transport nearby. On arrival we had to contact the owner who came and went through showing things but didn't show us how to open the front door which has a different sort of key not one we are used to and if it wasn't for the lovely girl in the nail salon downstairs showing us how to work it I don't know how we would have got on. It is advertised as a two bathroom but the second one only has a toilet and wash basin. This property although seems to want to retain its period features really needs abit of maintenance to be done. The tap in the bathroom drips, no tea towels or dishwasher tablets were to be found. When you try to open the window in the main bedroom the handle falls off. The second bedroom the bed was found uncomfortable as it moved all night and the person kept waking up to adjust it.
- Terry (5/5): Passable - . The location was excellent and the view was fabulous, but the apartment was not up to expectations. It could really be a wonderful apartment but it had old, mismatched, worn out furniture (not antiques), the beds were very old and worn out. The bathroom and bathtub/shower were small, and the bathroom was poorly laid out, but shower water pressure great. We didn’t use the kitchen but when we tried to use the microwave, it didn’t work. The kitchen was quite cute, the oven was old but in immaculate condition.
- Farias (5/5): Location was good, however, beds are old and uncomfortable !!! - Property Keys were given by a property administrator. Communication via Whatsup was great. Beds were very uncomfortable - they need to change mattresses and beds
- Nataliya (10/5): Best view of Ponte Vecchio! - The best view on the Ponte Vecchio! Comfortable flat with lots of space. Location is perfect and everything is within walking distance.
- Carl (8/5): very central and convenient. - fantastic location, close to shopping, sites and restaurants. the host was informative and gave excellent instructions. the apartment is well equipped and super secure. the apartment was reasonably noisy, especially the second bedroom, where it seemed that you could hear everything going on in all the other apartments, conversations, people walking around up stairs etc. the beds were quite worn out and saggy, one of us slept on the floor as the bed was terrible. the second bedroom is actually just a corridor between the main bedroom and the living spaces.
- Judith (5/5): Convenient location but sleeping tablets, ear plugs and eye masks required. - The living room view of the local area - entertaining in itself. Although extremely noisy, the location was perfect for visiting the sights of Florence and nag suit you better if you are a late night reveller yourself. The place could have been so much more! We felt the renters had scrimped on spending a few euros on essentials which would have made a huge difference to the place. Bare bones of furniture in mis-matched sizes i.e. chairs far too low for table, scruffy damaged furnishings, no coffee tables. Bedroom was extremely noisy (even using earplugs!) both throughout the evening, night and early hours with dustbin men empty bins early in the morning, local shops ie supermarket opposite opening early and closing late, night revellers etc. Curtain supplied in bedroom was too small for window and didn’t keep out the light and the hole cut in the glass for an air conditioner didn’t help the nose reduction. Kitchen was not properly equipped as described. Ridiculously oversized basin in bathroom prevents proper access. (One bathroom & one cloakroom here.) we were told that this place is used off season for students and honestly it felt like the cheapest of student accommodation.
- Roslyn (9/5): Superb - The view was spectacular, location was close to almost everything. Did I mention the view?
Gianmarco was very helpful and communicated well.
Two bathrooms was a plus also. The mattresses could do with an upgrade
- Linda (10/5): Fantastic location and view. Really was charming - Amazing view and great location. Check in went smoothly and luggage storage was possible, which was a decider for me to stay. 2nd key not given on day one, but gratefully provided on day 2. Communication was good. A quirky, spacious apartment with washing machine. We loved it and would most definitely stay here again and recommend it. I was hesitant about staying this side of the river but it was fantastic location and not a problem. Bus to station 1 minute away and a (very small European)elevator which we were grateful for Bed and bathroom weren't great but still worth it and would stay again
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Location Air conditioner in bedroom did not work during our stay.
- Barbara (8/5): glorious view and location, very safe, easy access to restaurants and shops, including grocery store - LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION We ould have appreciated more responsive owners.
- Scott (9/5): Superb - The location and outlook were superb looking directly onto the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Also the nostalgic style of the apartment was gorgeous and the gentleman that greeted us was more than helpful. These are minor complaints but the main room air-conditioning worked, but it was a mobile unit that was loud as and needed the water to be emptied as soon as I tried to use onthe first might. Also the shower head hose sprayed water everywhere, every time we used it, had to do a backyard fix.
- Tracy (8/5): Overall, we would still stay here again— just when it’s cooler and we don’t need the air conditioning so much! - The view, location and the space of the booking were amazing! Not all the rooms were air conditioned. The main room had a portable unit that needed to be drained frequently.
- Trish (10/5): Exceptional - more instructions on running the apartment
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Camille (9/5): Superb -
