• Louise (7/5): - It wasnt far from the beach 15 min walk, was clean, big enough for 2 people. Wasnt aware it was in a big apartment block. Defanatley wasnt a luxery studio. Thought it was over priced. Bed was very soft not the most comfortable.

• Alain (8/5): Très bien situé, agréable mais qui demande encore un peu d'équipements - Localisation du logement, information du propriétaire pour récupérer les clés, disponibilité du parking, il y a des stores proches du logement pour faire les courses. L'appartement est cosy. Sachant que nous avions loué pour 4 personnes le canapé lit aurait pu être préparé. C'est un logement pour 4 personnes mais il n'y a que 2 tabourets pour manger. La machine à café sympa mais pas de dosette adapté pour s'en servir. Logement proche de la plage et il aurait été bien d'avoir aussi des serviettes de plage voir un parasol
• Jos (3/5): Great location. Filthy apartment, poor communication & facilities - Amazing location to explore Santa Monica. Only a 15 minute walk from the beach and pier. Good selection of shops and facilities in walking distance from the property. Firstly the instructions could be clearer. The videos help but are missing essential details and need to be made much clearer about collecting the keys, using the laundry (for which you need to pay) as it is in a totally different part of the building. The elevators in the building are old and sound like they are worn out. Most importantly the property was dirty. We found dirt and hair everywhere (so vacuumed the place ourselves), the built in sink incinerator was faulty (which we were not told about) and caused spillage of dirty water out of the sink. No tea and hand towels were provided so used our bathroom towels. The remote control for the air conditioning unit did not work (fixed this ourselves as we found 1 spare battery). Poor and limited selection of kitchen utensils (no sieves, no can opener, no oven trays) and blunt knives. The sofa bed is filthy and we had to search for the right bedding to use. All of this took the shine off what was an excellent location. Communication with the host was poor and it took a very long time waiting for a reply. One example was that we missed the fact the garage key fob was also provided in the locker outside the building. We only picked up the house keys and ended up not being able to park the car inside the garage. Only by asking some other people staying at the property they managed to let us in which was great. We found out much later in the evening that we had missed the garage key fob from the locker. All of this could have been so much easier with clearer instructions and better communication. Overall we absolutely do NOT recommend this to others.

• SamBrok (3/5): Not what we were expecting... - Location is great and the main reason for choosing this property. The free parking was also a bonus. Where to start... 1. It's not clear in the listing but the washing machine isn't in the studio apartment, it's actually in a shared laundry room and is chargeable. Additionally, there is no clothes rack as advertised. The laundry room had tumble dryers but no good for delicates. It's also not clear that you have to use a separate lift/elevator on the other side of the building to be able to reach the laundry room. 2. Door between kitchen and changing room (leading to bathroom) had a broken door knob. My child closed the door without realising and fortunately I was in the kitchen and able to use a knife to open it. 3. The air con did not work. Didn't even ligt up to show it was getting power to it. 4. The sink became blocked on day 2. It has a food waste grinder which had an old dummy/pacifier stuck in the top. 5. My child pulled broken glass out from under the sofa!! I guess this is why there was only one glass in the kitchen, the other had been broken and swept under the sofa and it hadn't been cleaned properly. 6. No bottled water as advertised (minor issue I know...) Upon contacting the host, it's clear they're not close to the property and rely on a cleaner/cleaning company to manage the apartment between guests. We had an issue with no water for 6 hours during one day and after trying to call and messaging, I had to chase for an update on when this would be back on.
