• mariachicotti (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay with my family. The apartment is really well located. Although it's an old building, everything inside of the apartment is quite modern and new. We loved the apartment itself, really different from any of the apartments we ever stayed at. Also, it is much bigger than we thought. Nothing to mention.

Creo que es de las mejores estancias en la que he estado hospedada. Sobre la casa no tengo nada malo , por decir, los mosquitos que salían en la habitación de abajo del todo pero algo que no influye ni al anfitrión ni a la casa como tal
• Vincenzo (3/5): Esperienza negativa dal 27/12 al 30/12( non cosigliato ) - L'unico aspetto che ho apprezzato di questo soggiorno è stata la posizione della struttura, situata strategicamente a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal centro città. Con la presente intendo sporgere un formale reclamo in merito al soggiorno presso la vostra struttura. Sebbene l’ubicazione risulti funzionale, data la prossimità al centro cittadino (circa 10 minuti a piedi), tale aspetto non è minimamente sufficiente a compensare le gravi criticità riscontrate. ​Nello specifico, ho rilevato una totale carenza dei requisiti igienici minimi: la presenza di ragnatele e lo stato di incuria della biancheria da camera e da bagno risultata sporca e, in diversi punti, logora o strappata sono circostanze inaccettabili. Segnalo inoltre l’assenza del dispositivo asciugacapelli, nonostante fosse espressamente indicato tra i servizi inclusi. ​La problematica di maggiore gravità riguarda tuttavia l’insalubrità degli ambienti. È stata riscontrata una diffusa proliferazione di muffe sia nel vano doccia del primo piano sia nella zona notte limitrofa ai servizi. Tale condizione ha generato un’esalazione nauseabonda persistente in tutta l’unità abitativa, rendendo l’aria irrespirabile e compromettendo la vivibilità del soggiorno. Per ovviare al senso di soffocamento, siamo stati costretti a mantenere le finestre costantemente aperte e a limitare al minimo indispensabile la permanenza all’interno dell’immobile.

• Henriques (7/5): Boa qualidade preço e localização - Apartamento grande para as 7 pessoas. Tínhamos todos os utensílios necessários, toalhas de banho grandes e limpas. As cortinas da sala não estavam boas, não fechavam totalmente e deixavam passar muita luz para o interior (a pessoa que dormiu no sofá cama sentiu mais dificuldades). Nos restantes quartos também não haviam cortinados, pelo que tivemos sempre luz a entrar nos quartos (á excepção de um dos quartos que tinha cortinados que estavam em perfeitas condições. O quarto que fica na "cave" tem uma "janela" que dá para o chão da cozinha. A banheira do quarto da "cave" não tinha proteções e era pequena (foi complicado adultos tomarem banho no local).

• Ana (8/5): Good stay, in the city center - The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to reach all major attractions. The apartment is very well equipped, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host is extremely responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and pleasant The apartment has some interior stairs, which was challenging when traveling with a baby and a child, especially at night. The basement bathroom had fruit flies and, because it connects to the kitchen, you can hear noise from outside. The humidity is quite high despite the dehumidifier, likely due to the age of the building.

• cerri (3/5): Shop around -read all reviews here - The location was good-close, within walking distance of the train station (about 15 mins walk) and 10 mins to major tourist attractions. I booked the stay based on others' reviews and after staying there I am still perplexed, we are really not fussy travellers and used to staying in hostels, camp sites etc. I was honestly contemplating taking my family out and leaving early, but we stuck it out. Firstly is entry to the property. You are given a code and a website to access remotely. That is, if the site works. When we got there, it did not because it works through WiFi and the apartments WiFi box had been switched off. Finally managed to get hold of someone, who then, through very broken translation, told me there was a key in the lock box to find, in a very obscure place, a few doors down. It was evening time, so it was dark and raining so my family were outside on the road for 30 minutes before we got in. The first thing that hits you is the smell of mould. My child is asthmatic and had to use his inhaler throughout. There is one room where the smell is so bad of mould, that you cannot sleep there. The whole place needs treating, you can see it on walls, skirting boards, ceilings. I asked if we could have extra bedding as it was quite cold at night with no heating working, I was told 'you don't need it'. The cleanliness of the apartment leaves an awful lot to the imagination. We're used to rustic, but this was grotty. As a family I'd honestly say shop around. I would never go back and definitely wouldn't recommend it for families. I'm so shocked they have such positive reviews.
• Fanny (6/5): la casa del laberinto... - las habitaciones amplias y comodas, los dos baños muy comodos. las escaleras entre un ambiente y otro no es comodo para desplazars, para ir a los baños hay que subir o bajar escaleras, la distribucion general de la cocina con respecto a la sala comedor no es cómoda, algunos ambientes no llegaba el wifi.
• Lucia (7/5): - Me gusto la limpieza del sitio, la comodidad de las camas y las chicas de la limpieza que fueron super majas, si no llega a ser por ellas no entramos al apartamento porque el casero no nos cogía el teléfono y teníamos dudas de cómo se entraba. No me gustó que la casa olía bastante a humedad, en el cuarto de abajo en el baño olía a humedad y había mosquitos.

• Arcangela Gabriella (4/5): - Ottima la posizione, vicinissima a Palazzo Pitti e Ponte Vecchio La casa è molto umida e soprattutto nel piano interrato e' piena di moscerini! Ci aspettavamo anche un ambiente più pulito, dato che c'erano ragnatele a vista d'occhio e nel bagno abbiamo trovato anche delle scatole di lenti a contatto forse lasciate dai precedenti ospiti. Quindi evidentemente la casa non era stata pulita come si deve. Poi le tende della finestra a piano terra, che tra l'altro dava sulla strada!, non si riuscivano a chiudere! Quando abbiamo fatto presente tutto ciò al proprietario, continuava a dirci che la casa era stata pulita e che le tende andavano tirate. Inoltre non ha mai risposto alle nostre chiamate.

• Weibo (8/5): A very unique experience - Location and uniqueness of the old house. Only one full bath, the other bath is not really useful for adults. Wifi is not available in the bedroom.

• michele (1/5): Lovely place , but Mold smell made 2 out of the 5 of us sick and throwing up - Location was decent It smelled like a sewer full of mold . My 2 daughters were sick and throwing up the entire time because they born have asthma and extreme mold allergies . Cute apartment but hopefully others will be forewarned about the mold problem . Our host was lovely - I just wish we had a heads up on the mold situation.

• Lianet (6/5): Conveniently located but not suitable for the amount of people listed - The property is located very close to Ponte Vecchio and the Piti Museum. Also is 20 minutes walk to the city center. The apartment was clean but very small for 6 people. The apartment had one too many stairs within a confined space. You will have to go up or down to go to any room within the apartment. Also the downstairs room was very humid and had too many fruit flies. There was a dehumidifier in the downstairs bathroom but needed to be emptied out every day in order for it to work. Also the apartment was posted as having two bathrooms but the shower for the second one is the size for a child not an adult.
• Kristina (7/5): Good - The apartment was comfortable, especially the beds. The kitchen is a bit small, but it is fully equipped with all the necessary tools. It was just a bit tricky to get into the apartment. We were very disappointed that the host didn't answer when we called in the evening to get into the apartment. The bathroom in the basement was quite uncomfortable and it was unpleasant because of the flies, which kept increasing. There were no trash cans in the rooms.
• Sara (8/5): A memorable accommodation for sure ❤️ - The location was perfect. I was happy that there was plenty of coffee, the layout was funky but fun. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and a cozy couch. The second bathroom in the bottom room wasn’t really ideal for the use of 6 people but we made do with the upstairs bathroom.

• Kathryn (9/5): Very cool apartment with modern amenities in an ancient building! - This apartment is in an excellent location, just off the main streets accessible by easy walk to all of the places you want to go in Florence. The beds and baths are comfortable, the kitchen has what you need for basics. The layout is over several levels so might be difficult for people with limited mobility, but we felt it added to the charm and privacy of the different bedrooms. The second bathroom is really just a half bath as the tub is more like a utility tub. There is laundry but we didn’t use it as we found a laundromat just 2 blocks away which included dryers. The communication with the property manager was excellent….via WhatsApp…and he immediately helped us figure out the door lock system. Note that the entry is fully controlled by an app, which was very convenient as there was no need to carry keys and everyone had access, but you do need to have data when you first arrive in order to enter. Or ask them to share their Wi-Fi and code before you arrive, as that can be accessed from just outside the apartment. Note though not to let your phone die while out exploring or you will be locked out! We struggled with the coffee maker but it was probably us….and so many good cafes just out the door…go explore!

• Samantha (8/5): Great location with lots of stairs. - Great location and within walking distance to pretty much everything. It was very clean and had plenty of toiletries and towels. Lots of space for 7 of us. It is definitely unique! I didn’t realize just how many stairs there are. I also didn’t like that the AC was only in the entry room. The bedrooms were a little toasty. I didn’t like the second bathroom’s “shower.” It was so tiny and under the stairs so we didn’t use it.
• Karen (8/5): Highly recommended - Great location, 15min walk to main tourist attractions, amazing restaurants nearby and supermarket just down the road if you need supplies. Charming and spacious property with a well equipped kitchen, sparkling clean throughout, big comfortable beds and modern bathroom. The room in the basement can be a bit noisy as it is directly next to the street. However, it is better ventilated than the other 2 rooms which we found a little stuffy. We remedied this by keeping all the bedroom doors open. The shower was slow draining.

• Stephen (4/5): Disappointing - Great location It is on a very noisy street. There was no toiletries and the shower was very mouldy. The apartment was very musty smelling. The second shower/ bath is not usable due its size and there is a-lot of stairs between all rooms in the apartment .

• Antony (8/5): Lovely apartment in a lovely city. - Location was good. A short walk from Pitti Palace and pints Vecchio. Very quirky set-up and the various levels took a bit of getting used to. Not sure if I like the keyless check-in, but again soon got used to it. Had a problem with the hot water during our stay but was sorted very quickly and efficiently. Hosts always available for such problems. Very clean and a really lovely apartment. Could be argued it’s a bit pricey!

The owner was very responsive and helpful- he even booked our taxis t - The apartment was on a quiet street not too far from many good locations. Easy walk with shops and restaurants near. It was very clean and main necessities were provided. MANY stairs going between and in the rooms which was not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues or small children it would be hard. There were small fruit flies in the kitchen and basement room.

• Helena (9/5): Very cool space just be aware of the water pump!! - Any time we messaged the host there was ALWAYS a quick response. No matter the time, they were sooooo helpful. The apartments were so unique and it felt like we were staying in a part of history. We didnt know there was a pump button for the water. It some how got switched off and we were worried the water would over flow. There wasnt anything about not turning it off in the details or signage on the walls. But like i said i messaged the host and IMMEDIATELY they helped us figure it out.

We appreciated the tasteful decorations for Christmas as well. Thank you. Bottom bedroom gets a lot of street noise, especially from cars/motorbikes.
• Papaycik (7/5): A Unique Experience - I thought the downstairs room was pretty cool, but my family referred to it as a cave or the dungeon. Either way, it was definitely unique. We also enjoyed the tea and coffee. The glass floor under the kitchen table and downstairs. Everyone was afraid to walk there or to sit at the table.

Pictures do not give this space justice! Fantastic host with wonderful recommendations and quick response. Very accommodating and overall excellent experience Wonderful extras in kitchen, laundry and dining Lots of stairs. If you’re tall downstairs bedroom not for you. Plastic coffee table hard to see and we moved it out of the way.

• Robert (9/5): Beautiful place with a touch of Florentine History - The location was absolutely amazing, we were able to walk anywhere in the city within about 10-15 minutes. The flat was cozy and very unique, built in the 1500’s and completely remodeled but still had a touch of the old structure. It was air conditioned and had plenty of space for my family of 6. I also liked the fact that I did not have to carry around a door key and hopefully not lose it, the doors were controlled by automatic locks that opens with your phone. The only things we did not like were these tiny little black flies all over the house. They were not the pesky flies but nevertheless they were still everywhere. The only other thing was the soap and shampoo dispensers in the showers were empty, not a big problem nor a deal breaker since we brought our own but it would’ve been nice if they were full.

• Andres (8/5): Great location, spacious, clean and great owner to make your stay in Florence an excellent choice. - The place is really well located close to the main attractions, shops supermarkets and public transport. The good communication with the owner made thinks smooth and easier. The flat has everything you need to spend few days with family including kids and friends. I would suggest to check the wife signal across the flat as it was only possible to use it in the main room so it was not possible to get signal in the rooms or kitchen.

The bedrooms are very pretty, beds big and comfortable, lots of towels, blankets, bathrobes. The kitchen is tiny but very modern and has everything and eat in table. All is top quality and unique! We were 7: 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids aged 10. Plenty of room. Even room.for one more. I love the location as quiet street near Piazza Santo Spirito, a fun piazza at night. 10-12 min walk to Ponte Vecchio. First floor. Easy check in. The owner was very responsive by message. The price for 4-7 people is very good. The ac worked very well. Tvs The downstairs bedroom, while very original and cozy!, had a problem with gnats. It is an old building first floor (this is actually lower floor).so of course humid especially as bathroom there without a window. The gnats were ok once we got rid of them but offputting. The bathroom downstairs has a toilet, sink, washing machine but no bidet. The bath is very small. It is for one small adult crouching. Also there was not hot water. The upstairs bathroom was great however. The main issue for me was the wifi. It only worked in the room near router. And continued to disconnect. Our private servers did not work inside.Luckily it was first floor so we made calls out on the street. But a big issue as couldnt send texts, find info, reserve restaurants. And worst, book a taxi! I waited on the curb outside 45 min fir a tax as taxis are hard to get at 10-11...checkouut time. At 915am and other times it was fine. Taxis were easy to.find Late June. IF YOU NEED WIFI YOU MUST SPEAK TO THE OWNER. He may be able to fix it or there may have been a mistake when we were there.In any case, he was very kind. We were leaving but still he replied asap.

• Steve (9/5): Had a restful night, everything was there such as soaps, coffee machine, toaster, fridge & towels. - Yes, a very unique apartment, modern amenities in a historical building. Three different bedrooms for our family, good shower and a great location walking distance to all the attractions, shops and restaurants.
• Charles (8/5): Very good - Everything was automatic using a wireless/cellular secure service to open the exterior (street) door as well as the interior apartment door. The host is extremely responsive and had robes along with towels for every guest in our party. The location is fantastic with great pastry shops, cafes, restaurants, and shopping all near by. You are a 8-10 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio, and area restaurants/shopping is cheaper then right next to the Duomo. The basement bedroom was musty smelling (not unbearable but noticeable) and the stove/oven didn't work (actually flipped the breaker to the apartment when trying to use it). I told the host about it and they stated they would get it fixed immediately.
