- Laura (8/5): Rad und Wanderhotel mit üppigem Abendbuffet - Die Lage ist toll Es gibt viel zu wenig Sonnenliegen. An einen schönen Tag hat man komplett verloren und kann die Sonne nicht genießen.
- Markus (5/5): - Die Zimmer waren echt okay, die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren freundlich und hilfsbereit, sowie das Reinigungspersonal Die Servicekräfte im Restaurant und der damit verbundene Nachschub am Buffet. Der Spa Bereich, die Sonnenterasse mit 9 Liegen und auf der zweiten mit 5 Liegen, die Türen im gesamten Bereich knallen so laut zu, dass man von Entspannung nicht reden kann. Begrenzte Anzahl im Restaurant, einfach mal Essen gehen, funktioniert nicht.

- Alexander (10/5): Die perfekte Kombination zwischen Business, Urlaub und Wellness. - Sehr gute Ausstattung in herrlicher Lage. Nichts! Alles war perfekt.
- Nicolas (10/5): Tout est parfait. - Tout est parfait, à commencer par le personnel. Chambre calme, propre et très bien équipée. literie confortable. Diner excellent tout comme le petit déjeuner. Salle de sport et Spa propre et en excellent état. Stationnement un peu difficile aux abords de l'hôtel.
- MG (8/5): Ganz ok, aber jetzt auch kein Highlight. - Ambiente an sich schön. Nichts wirklich schlecht, aber da ist noch ordentlich Luft nach oben. Saunabereich etwas eng, besonders bei viel Betrieb am Wochenende. Nur eine von drei Duschen funktionierte einwandfrei. Zimmer und Bad waren vielleicht etwas klein für 4 Sterne, aber gut organisiert. Als eher größerer Mann kam ich noch ganz gut zurecht, aber wenn man dann doch etwas größer in alle Dimensionen wird kann ich mir vorstellen, dass das eher unangenehm wird. Mir fehlte auch ein anständiges a la carte Restaurant. Hätte gerne irgendetwas zwischen 40€ all you can eat fingerfood buffet und 4 Gänge Menu am Abend gehabt. Es gibt ein kleines Restaurant neben der Tischtennishalle, da bekommt man aber nur Pizza. Gerade am ersten Abend ist man da vielleicht noch nicht so gut darauf vorbereitet. Das von anderen hochgelobte Frühstücksbuffet kann ich so nicht ganz bestätigen. Eigentlich war das alles so, wie ich es von einem besseren Hotel erwarte, d.h. es war schon so ziemlich alles da: Müsli/Joghurt Sektion, Brot u. Aufschnitt, Früchte, Rührei/Bacon, usw.. Für die Brötchen muss ich aber leider ein paar Punkte abziehen. Das waren nur diese etwas faden Convenience Minidinger. Der Pancakeautomat war zwar ein ganz nettes Gimmick, leider aber viel zu langsam und geschmeckt haben die auch nicht. Da habe ich, z.B. in ähnlichen 4 Sterne Hotels bei direkten europäischen Nachbarn schon deutlich besseres und umfangreicheres bekommen. Enttäuscht hat es mich nicht, aber ein Highlight war es mit Sicherheit auch nicht.
- Bettina (5/5): Es war für unseren spontanen Trip okay. - Das Frühstück war super, da fehlte es an nichts. Das Zimmer leider sehr dunkel, wie sehr viele Bereiche des Hotels. Die Außenanlage mit dem Whirlpool ist recht spartanisch, es hat einen Hofcharakter. Leider kein Zimmerservice.
- Christine (9/5): - Ein im Tal gelegenes Hotel mit schöner Atmosphäre. Wer Ruhe mag kann sich erholen, spazieren gehen oder sich einfach drin oder draußen auf Sitzgelegenheiten entspannen bzw. In Ruhe auch ein Buch lesen. Aber auch für Spaß ist gesorgt, mit Bowling und Dart, sowie Bar mit sehr guten Cocktails und selbstgebauten Bier. Der Saunabereich ist doch recht klein. Müsste für die Anzahl der Zimmer größer sein bzw. mehr Platz in den Saunen.

Das man abends im Restaurant nur Büffet oder 4-Gänge Menü bestellen konnte, ein leichtes Abendessen nach Wahl hat mir gefehlt. Auch das man alles per Handy nachsehen muss und keine Mappe im Zimmer hat, fand ich etwas nervig.

- Paul (9/5): Wunderbares Wellnesswochende - Die Saunen und die Pools waren wunderbar. Besonders in unter klarem Sternenhimmel.
- Lena (5/5): - Besonders gefällt mir die Lage des Hotels. Der gut erreichbare Standort. Ich war bisher drei Mal in diesem Hotel. Das erste Mal im Jahr 2024. Es war einfach wunderbar. Leider habe ich bereits beim letzten Mal schon festgestellt, dass der Service doch nachgelassen hat (meine Frühstückskarte ist verloren gegangen, sodass ich das Frühstück auf das Zimmer erneut per Telefon aus dem Gedächtnis bestellen musste. Ebenso war das Badezimmer schon zu dieser Zeit nicht mehr ganz so sauber und kalkfrei. Dieses Mal jedoch im Dezember 2025 war es doch sehr schlecht. Wieder einmal wurde meine Frühstückskarte verschlampt. Und das Badezimmer noch ungepflegter als beim letzten Mal. Für mich scheint hier das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht mehr zu stimmen.

- Emmanuelle (8/5): Nice but could be better :) - The room was nice, large with windows we can really open ! I could see and hear the river flow outside. Very quiet. Kettle only, no coffee machine, but you can make your own coffee with dehydrated coffee sachets. Beautiful swimming pool with massaging jets. if you need sleepers for the pool, you must ask the reception. In the bedroom there is a bath robe and extra towels. Large restaurant with very large choice of food for breakfast. Coffee is excellent and a lot of different fruit/veggies juices. The SPA is superb, unfortunately I did not try the saunas because it is "naked only" and there were only men. Maybe because it was a Saturday evening, but it felt very uncomfortable for me. The Jacuzzi is also outside (like saunas). The mattress was very used on one side and also too soft. I had to find the best place on the mattress to sleep well. As I was on my own on a big bed, they did the bed with a single person duvet, which is a bit ridiculous. I would have preferred to have a big and thick duvet and this is also the reason why I asked for a two place bed. Fortunately for me there was another (1 person) duvet in the wardrobe. The shower has no joint around the door, which leaves water everywhere. If you neighbour opens water on his side, you suddenly have your water becoming very cold or very warm. beware ! The TV has only channels in German and no Netflix. I tried with internet on the TV but did not work. Internet is not fantastic and the Wifi not 100%. I tried to broadcast from my phone, it was not supported by the system. In the end I watched on my laptop.

- Ress (8/5): Wirklich ein Ort zum ruhen, geniessen, aktiv sein....ein tolles Haus....für alle - Ich muss zum Voraus sagen, dass ich vielleicht etwas kleinlich sein werde. Da ich aber sehr viel reise und über 100 Hotelübernachtungen im Jahr habe, glaube ich sagen zu dürfen, ich weiss wovon ich spreche. Grundsätzlich ist es ein ganz tolles Haus was sehr viel bietet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, egal in welchem Bereich. Das Frühstück darf sich sehen lassen und wirklich gut hat mich aber nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Wer Buffet mag ist hier absolut richtig. Das tägliche Abendbuffet ist sehr grosszügig und abwechslungsreich. Wer lieber à la Carte mag, hat 4 alternative Menüs zur Auswahl welche wirklich top sind. Grosses Lob an das Küchenteam. Die Zimmer sind schön, praktisch, sehr ruhig und das Bett ist top, zumindest für mich. Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Bar mit sehr gut gemischten Drinks und einer grossen Auswahl an Getränken. Für Weintrinker dürfte die Weinauswahl etwas grösser sein. Das Gym und der Pool sind top. Vom Wellness habe ich mir mehr erwartet, als ich 1500m2 gelesen hatte. Leider war alles sehr eng und eher klein, abgesehen von den Ruhemöglichkeiten, die waren top. Ja, und für die Gäste kann das Haus auch nichts. Leider wird gerne das Wort Ruheraum nicht verstanden. Es war aber sehr sauber und gut gehalten. Etwas mehr Snacks, Tee etc. wären von Vorteil. Was sehr schade war, man hat eine eigen Kaffeerösterei im Haus aber keine wirkliche Kaffeemaschine (Siebträger). Die Kaffee komme aus dem WMF Automaten, zwar frisch aber nicht zu vergleichen. Bei der Abreise darauf angesprochen wurde mir gesagt, dass sich das schon bald ändern wird....sehr lobenswert :-) leider ist die tolle Bar am Sonntag zu, was ich extrem schade fand.

Wir wären zu früh und die Zimmer nicht fertig. Wir hatten den Spabereich für den Tag gebucht. "Dann müssen sie da lang." Danke. Kein Willkommen, keine Erklärung, nichts. Später bekamen wir eines der 2 gebuchten Zimmer kommentarlos unter der gebuchten Kategorie. Wir haben das dann reklamiert und auf Nachfrage die Differenz erstattet bekommen. Schade.

- KK (10/5): Toller entspannter Aufenthalt - Ganz toller Aufenthalt. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Lage ist toll und das Hotel absolut gepflegt. 👍Auch das Frühstück und das Essen im Brexx wirklich toll. Auch der Spa-Bereich ist absolut clean und gepflegt.

- Birgit (7/5): Prima, bin sehr zufrieden. - Gute Betten, sehr sauber und alles ist an dem Platz, wo man es benötigt (z.B. Lichtschalter). Ich war nur für eine Nacht, konnte sehr gut schlafen und entspannen für die bevorstehende Weiterfahrt mit dem Auto. Ich habe nix zu meckern. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und dementsprechend sind dort auch viele Gruppen untergebracht, die ein volles Programm wahrnehmen. So was muss man mögen. Das Hotel ist sehr idylisch gelegen, aber auch etwas abseits.
- Renate aus Bonn (9/5): Ich komme wieder! - Es war mein zweiter Aufenthalt in der Zugbrücke und es hat mir wieder sehr gut gefallen. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und sauber. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein. Abends kann man in der Bar einen leckeren Cocktail trinken oder das Bier aus der hauseigenen Brauerei. Bei meinem ersten Besuch, der an einem Wochenende war, hat mir das Dinnerbuffet besser geschmeckt und es war deutlich mehr Auswahl. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war langweilig und mit weniger Auswahl als bei meinem ersten Besuch.

- Joseph (8/5): - sehr ruhige Lage, Personal freundlich, Parkmöglichkeiten gratis (abends manchmal überbelegt), Zimmer modern ausgestattet, Betten ok, Dusche gut, Abendessen als Halbpension gebucht, es handelt sich um ein Buffet, grosse Auswahl, nicht zu teuer, Frühstück super mit grosser Auswahl. sehr schöner Fitnessbereich und Wellnessanlage ich hatte Zimmer 104, nicht in der Nähe eines Aufzuges und anscheinend auch kein Zimmer darüber, trotzdem andauernd Geräusche, auch nächtens, bitte früher als 19.00 abends essen gehen, Buffet wird nicht immer nachgefüllt

- Jasper (7/5): Really nice for a weekend get away from the city - Located in a unique location and lovely village, with a very well equipped gym and generous opening hours of gym, pool and sauna. They offer several treatments in the beauty salon too. The room was large and comfortable with a really nice bed. The Spa area is slightly over advertised. It is really nice, with various different saunas, relax areas and outdoor whirlpool, but it was also quite busy. I assumed it would be hotel guests only, but there are quite a few locals using gym and spa area too (which makes sense, I just did not realize) which makes it a different experience.
- Anda-raluca (8/5): Except the cleaned room that was absent during 4 days, the rest of services was good. - Breakfast was very good and also all faculities like pool and spa. The room was unclened 4 days and also the furniture was poor.
- Karl (8/5): perfect one night stay between two days of driving. - All was as it should be: nice and clean room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, hot sauna, big pool... Excellent location; very nice location in the woods next to a river and some old town, although very near to the highway. Slippers for the sauna were missing. Towels and bathrobe present but no slippers.

The selection at the breakfast and dinner buffets, the restaurant across the street The spa area was quite small and much smaller than anticipated. People were sometimes quite harsh. Overall it felt a bit too expensive for what we got
- Engin (8/5): Nice weekend getaway in the middle of nature - Very nice location, next to a small village in the middle of nature. Nice facilities, very good option for a family get away. Friendly and nice staff especially the ones working at evening shift at the restaurant and at the bar. Nothing significant in particular.

- Anna (9/5): Utterly relaxing stay ! - Although the room in the picture on Booking.com did not exactly match the room in that mid-level category ("Knight"), we were happy with it. There are, unfortunately, no views from most of the room since the hotel was added on multiple times and views of the valley, village and castle were obstructed for most views except for rooms in the highest category. However, we did not spent much time in the room and so it did not matter that much. The bed was very comfortable and the linens nice. We appreciated the spa basked containing towels and robes. Slippers might be a nice addition as well as shampoo. There are soap dispensers in the bathroom and the shower stalls in the spa, but I think adding a couple more dispensers would not hurt. The spa is not large but very nice and not overrun. We stayed during the week and enjoyed the different rest areas throughout the spa very much. The hotel is slightly confusing with its layout - possibly because maximising on room capacity while facing spacial restrictions in the narrow Brexbach valley posed some difficulty throughout the building phase. Some of the hallways are rather narrow and the elevators are a bit hidden. Maybe also one could find a better place for the linen trolleys.
