Guest Reviews
- Guest (10/5): Great apartment in a fantastic location. - Location and size Nothing

- Seth (4/5): Uncomfortable Apartment focused on maximum bed count than any sense of creature - The flat is in a decent location, but note it’s closer to Ponte than Piazza Navona (6-7 minute walk to this busier area). There are smaller restaurants and limited shopping in this area but it is at least quieter. One of the positives of this rental was that although it is on the first floor (European style) the windows were of an upgraded manner so less noise did come through, really from the outdoor dining immediately below but the constant mopeds and bikes were the most.
The biggest thing about this unit is the bed count in the chance guests need that. For a group that absolutely needs beds and sleep count, it works but you are sacrificing a true apartment. However, it is not very comfortable given the partitioned walls, a bathroom you have to walk sideways through that accesses the main bedrooms (absolutely should not be a legal bath), segmentation without a real living room, no true kitchen, and overall just nowhere to “sit”. Understandably most people don’t come to Rome to sit in the rental, but for families or really anyone it is imaginable that a comfortable couch or traditional setup is desirable. The pictures are deceiving because the kitchen is more a hotel-esque aftermarket efficient addition.
The other positive was the WiFi worked good and the beds were comfortable (sheets just ok). Overall this was just so uncomfortable in terms of an extended stay. As mentioned, there is no living area, no traditional sitting, and no real kitchen. As we were a small family, the main positive of lots of sleeping did not really benefit us. We booked this solely to have our kids have their own room, as one child is an infant and it’s easier to not have the toddler woken up. Here is where additional issues ensued - THE HOST IS THE BIGGEST JERK EVER, and he is being reported to Booking for questionable practices. Many will not be concerned from this, so I wanted to at least share a proper review with both the positives and negatives, but will add the below regarding the host and concerns around payment for those to take advance notice.
I booked the unit for my family. A child was listed with the age provided. Since booking, we had a new baby. So I emailed asking for a crib and this was accepted (no mention of a charge). Somehow the host viewed this as an extra person, even though the crib process was approved. For the life of me I can not understand how an infant would be an addditional charge and especially after the fact it never came up when asking for the crib and being confirmed. It is common to charge for a baby crib, which we did 2 of the 4 other rentals stayed at, and happily paid for this service. It was mentioned at the time of request, but also was not a person charge (we are talking about a newborn baby). So our arrival was quite compromised, because due to me willingly sending passports including the baby, our host waited until the day of check-in to cause the biggest stressful and confrontational situation because of “additional guests”. Considering I did not have an international plan, I then had to go buy an eSIM just so I could deal with the absolute BS running around the city and meeting him at a specified time and place (since now could not sit on WiFi) and dealing with Booking.com
Customer service.
