Guest Reviews
- Declan (10/5): - It was nice clean and cosy with welcoming staff
- Zsolt (9/5): - Norton the host is a Jungle music phenomenon. We talked to him for hours about the history of electronic music. We also listen to very good music together on vinyl. We had a separate room at the accommodation, with a separate bathroom, everything was very clean. Norton gave us lots of ideas about where and what to go. We got delicious coffee and croissants in the morning. Yes, the host and his family live there too, but I wish everyone was a host like Norton. We had to come home. :)
- Laura (9/5): Quiet and comfortable stay near central London - Great location, near the city and easy to get to by train. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming, the room was right next to the bathroom and I didn't hear nor notice the other guests that were staying at the time. Nothing that I didn't like!
- Jamie (10/5): -
- Janet (7/5): -
- Namitha (10/5): Highly recommend - Good value for money - Had wonderful hosts who made our stay super comfortable. Very well maintained and super cozy!
- Natasha (8/5): - It was in a good location and we were given clear instructions on how to enter the property. The room was large i loved how they left it as their childs bedroon, with child's wallpaper and child's lamp. The double bed was comfy and the room was a nice temperature and clean. The owner greeted us. There was a kettle, bottled water and mugs in the room to make a drink. It was a good price.
- Tim (10/5): Great value, great host, great place to stay - Easy to find with on street parking £2.50 between 0900 - 2200hrs. Rosie is lovely as his her home . Beautiful large bedroom with en suite. Perfect for access into London Nothing
- Olga (10/5): -
- Fabian (10/5): Lovely accommodation with a very kind hostess - It is easy to reach the accommodation with the train to Cricklewood station or with the bus 16 from Paddington. The room was really clean and nicely furnished. It was a perfect place for our weekend trip to London. Rosie is a really kind hostess so that we felt very comfortable.

- Joy (10/5): FABULOUS - An exceptional stay with Norton and Rosie! The room and bathroom were spotless, opening onto a lovely little garden. I really enjoyed chatting with the family and spending some time with the cat :) Norton and Rosie are absolutely wonderful! I recommend them 100,000%.
- Jani (9/5): - Very clean and cosy room, ensuite bathroom was great. Norton was very nice and helpful. Check-in instructions were clear and parking place available just in front of the house.
- Dunn (10/5): - Fantastic all round. Great host. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is spot on for Wembley etc. Buses and train station on your doorstep
- Beth (8/5): -
- Amber (9/5): Thank you for the pleasant stay! - Booked this stay as it was affordable and close to the city center as I had 2 concerts during the weekend. It's just one train from Cricklewood to St. Pancras/King's Cross. The concerts were in Tottenham, but it was super easy to get there as well.
The moment I arrived at the house I felt super welcome. It really is a family home. Norton made sure to tell me all about London and some the history of the city. Breakfast was provided some mornings and it's possible to make coffee/tea at any time.
There was one shared bathroom, as stated on Booking, this was fine as there weren't many guest when I was there. There's also a room with an en-suite bathroom, so make sure to check your booking if that's what you're looking for!
The stories and music that Norton shared will stay with me for a long time! A curtain to really keep the light out would've been nice, minor detail though.
The area for a female solo traveler might seem a bit sketchy at night. But I noticed that people really look out for each other in the neighborhood, so I did not feel unsafe at all.
- Nathan (7/5): Good -
- Brenden (10/5): Lovely family and house. I felt very welcome during my short stay. - Rosie is very welcoming. I loved that fresh whole milk was in the fridge and offered for guest use! Lidl is also very conveniently located at a few minutes' walk.
- Noor (9/5): Superb - We chose to stay at Rosie's due to a concert we were attending in Wembley, which was conveniently located nearby. Rosie and Norton, along with their cat, were incredibly welcoming. Norton was even kind enough to prepare a pancake with fresh fruit for me on Saturday morning.
They provided us with clear instructions for check-in. The parking, available for £2 for 24 hours, was excellent and situated right in front of the unit. Additionally, shops and cafes were within easy walking distance. The bed's softness was a minor concern, but the pillows were exceptionally comfortable.
The placement of our room's toilet/shower room was unfortunately quite close to the kitchen, which meant that anyone in the kitchen could easily hear me or my husband doing our "business". LOL!
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -

- Glen (10/5): GREAT STAY, WILL DEFINITLEY BOOK AGAIN - parking outside at £2, large room, comfy double bed, kettle, coffee etc, nice shower room, short walk to pubs and eateries. No TV.
- Bekki (10/5): Would definitely recommend - Everything as described. Lovely host I only booked for one night
- Edmund (8/5): A rare gem in London - The property is spacious, excellent bathroom and really nicely fitted out bedroom. It is, however, surprisingly far from the nearest tube station Blankets were a little dusty, though the covers were clean. Otherwise everything was perfect
- Tobias (10/5): Felt right at home - Really welcoming! I felt at home here. My privacy was respected.
Comfortable bed and cosy decor.
- Jarryd (10/5): We are definitely staying here again next time we’re in London! Perfect place to stay! - The hosts are fantastic, super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home! The location is great and close to the train station. Nothing, it was perfect!
- Gina (7/5): Pleasant room in family home. - Pleasant room in family home. Appreciated use of the kitchen to prepare food. Host offered detailed history of the area which was interesting. Easy access to Thameslink rail, and buses. Bed comfortable, but pillows too hard. Location was a bit too far away from the sites I wanted to visit.
- Alexander (10/5): Beautiful stay in a lovely house - It is an excellent location not too far from main London in a lovely house. Norton as the host was very friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely chat with a nice cup of tea.
- Winnie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jones (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nigel (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): GREAT LOCATION - This property is in a great location with great public transport and dining options near by,there is a bus stop just 2 minutes walk away from where you can get buses into Central London and there is a night service as well,my room was comfortable and clean and the owner was very friendly, would consider staying there again. All ok
- Gulkhayo (4/5): Disappointing -
- Zofia (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely friendly hosts
Really great parking for London £2 per 24 hours
Easy and close to Wembley for our show
Really comfy bed!
- Gaëtan (10/5): Perfect stay - What can I say, everything was perfect. From arrival to departure. Above all else, Norton is an amazing host.
- Mcnay (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house very clean very friendly and so helpful 😀 Absolutely nothing to complain about
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing stay at Rosie Cosy House. The room was really spacious with a lovely ensuite and free tea and coffee. It was close to the bus stop for Wembley Stadium too.
The hosts were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and comfortable, even picking me and my 7 year old daughter up from the station after going to Wembley for a concert. Then, making us breakfast in the morning!!
I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. My daughter wants to go back already and we only got home today! Thank you so much ❤️ Everything was wonderful 🥰
- Sarah (10/5): Norton is an exceptional host. - Communication from booking to arriving was exceptional. The host couldn't do enough for us, friendly, and welcoming.
I made a mistake during booking, and we were still accommodated with an extra mattress on the floor for my son to sleep on. Super comfy, lots of pillows, and nice clean bedding.
Staying with someone who knows the area and can advise re public transport etc is always a welcome advantage.
Thank you for a great stay, Norton. Shared bathroom, my son suffers with anxiety so couldn't shower in the morning as others had used it that we didn't know.
I left my toothpaste in the bathroom, went to fetch my toothbrush, came back to the bathroom, and someone was in there so I couldn't get my toothpaste back. Just a small thing, I don't think it would stop me from staying again, though. We all had our own towels provided, and the facilities I used were lovely.
- Kim (9/5): Beautiful room in easily accessible Cricklewood - This was a great location for getting into central London and the hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The interior design was to a very high standard and access to the kitchen was a bonus although as someone who is not particularly sociable I was grateful that I could retire to my room to eat in privacy. The price was also exceptional for London. The communications were very good and the instructions to gain access very clear. There was no blind in the bathroom and although a large mirror occluded some of the view, I still felt as if I could be overlooked by neighbours and/or another guest in the garden. There was no TV. This probably wouldn’t be a problem for most people as the WiFi was good and many people stream these days but just to note really.
- Jim (5/5): Not as close to Wembley Stadium as advertised - The hosts were very sociable and they made me feel welcome. They made me a cup of coffee after a long day getting there. I feel bad for putting negative comments as everyone else seems to love the place. But I am just being honest.
I booked this accommodation for its location to Wembley Stadium but it is a lot further than suggested on their page. It says it is 1.6 miles from the stadium and it is not. The tube stations are a fair distance from the accommodation as well.
The room had no blackout curtains / blinds, so it was too bright too early in the room.
- Lara (10/5): Lovely stay! - Couldn't have asked for a better homestay! The room was even bigger than the pictures, and the private bathroom was perfect. It was also cool to have my own set of doors to the garden! The hosts were so kind and inclusive, they really made me feel welcome and also made great conversation! The home is well-connected, with several buses nearby where you can transfer to the Jubilee or Northern lines or to Paddington station, which is all you need to get to Central London. I definitely plan to make this my place to stay whenever I visit London! Nothing comes to mind!
- Marek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Etta (10/5): Like staying with a friend in the heart of London, who has the comfiest room ever - Our room was massive with a really nice ensuite bathroom. Such a comfy bed and the decoration in the room was really nice.
The owner was awesome - chatted away to us about music in the kitchen - had a cracking vinyl collection. Honestly it was like staying with a friend - such good energy and so friendly.
Plus there is a CAT!! And she’s so sweet. Nothing - loved it
- Elizaveta (10/5): Loved the place and the owners! Super warm welcome. - Both hosts were amazing, very friendly and accommodating. I just fell in love with the whole family, would love to stay with them once again. The room was big and cute, the bed was quite large too, there was everything I needed. I liked the bathroom and all the facilities. Norton, the host, offered me a cup of tea and we chatted away the whole afternoon. I don’t think there was something I didn’t like, really.
- Alison (8/5): Great location and really appreciated parking arrangements - Lovely people. Excellent shower room Would have liked a TV in our room and proper tea coffee tray with long life milk.

- Anna (9/5): Great place to stay in London - The hosts are really nice and helpful, we had great chats. The location was very good - the bus stop is 2 minutes away and it's a tranquil place at the same time. We landed in London Luton and the connection with Rosie's house is easy. Nearby there are nice bars and shops. It was a nice time :) There was a small misunderstanding regarding the bathroom - I was sure I booked a room with the bathroom (this information was also included in the email confirmation I got), but it turned out that there was a shared bathroom. We were a bit worried in the beginning, but eventually it wasn't a problem for us.
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sunday (9/5): Superb -
- Jarmila (9/5): nice place to stay - location is great - bus stop is only 3min far from the house. So you can easily get by bus to undergroud station.
the road was crowded but we did not hear the noise from the road because the view from the window was to the garden.
Lidl is approx. 5min far from the house.
Rosie and her husband shares their kitchen with all the equipment with you. It means that you can prepare what you want.
Room and house are well cleaned.
Rosie and her husband are very friendly, talkative and ready to help you.
It is nice place to stay and I recommend it to others. we did not find any disadvantages.
- Kelly (10/5): Lovely home outside of the hustle and bustle of London - Welcoming kind hosts. Lovely and clean ground floor room and en suite with a very comfortable bed. Easy access to the property and parking just outside. 20 minute walk to Kilburn underground with direct access to central London. Or you can catch the bus right outside the house. Situated in a well lit quiet area with lots of food places and convenience stores. Would definitely stay again.
- Ramyn (9/5): Superb - Enjoyed great conversation with owner. The place is easily reachable by public transportation, if you need a place to stay in the area, that's a good option.
- Pant (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Rosie Cosy House - The varied range of facilities including Wi-Fi.
The ease of access to various locations in London.
The peace and quiet.
The room was comfortable and spacious and the ensuite clean. We couldn't find anything we didn't like except the see-through glass in the ensuite
- Katyusca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (8/5): Comfortable stay - Beautiful and comfortable room. Very good location not far from Jubilee line. A bit too communal for me. Not enough privacy. Owners using the kitchen quite a lot and keen to chat. Very thin walls, not much privacy.
- Saurav (10/5): The hosts made the place amazing and helped us in every possible way. Loved the stay here. - The house was really well kept and cozy.
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Górska (8/5): Very good - Norton and Rosie are great hosts. They are really nice and helpful, easy to talk to and open minded. Room was bigger than we expected, clean, spacious, bright. The bed was great to sleep on. The area was connected to the center of London perfectly, bus stop was almost under the apartement, subway 10 minutes away on feet. Overwall really good experience and we can happily recommend it to anybody heading London.
- Zafirah (10/5): Cozy Rosey!! - The room was really cozy, and there was a tea stand too in the room. I loved everything.
- Daniela (9/5): Rosie's cosy house - Great area as we were visiting people in that area, bus stop to golders green bus station and underground just out side the house. 2 cafes serving full English breakfast at 5 min walk.
Rosie was very friendly the house was very quite,
Shared bathroom was a little worried as it's the 1st time I've taken a hotel on booking but it was fine.
It's really quick to get to central London as well to do all the touristy things Nothing, I would stay there again if I were to visit people.
- Βασιλικη (7/5): Good - It's very close to the bus stop. The room was small. There was a cat sleeping in the kitchen. Actually it is a shared room in a family house.
