Even though we had strong winds the jacuzzi outside was an absolute dream. The weather didn’t affect us but overall we were pretty lucky no one else booked. Usually this is a shared penthouse but sometimes on the rare occasion this can happen. It was my lucky day and this penthouse exceeded my expectations. I can’t believe for the price paid we had access to all of the amenities. I didn’t think it was possible to pay under £300 and experience something like this. The area definitely made me question my decision before hand but once you get upstairs to that penthouse and see the London city view especially at night you will never look back and be booking again and again. I will be booking again in the future for my birthday. The bed was extremely comfortable and so clean and that’s not to mention how clean the rest of the penthouse house is. It’s completely immaculate. Definitely to my standard of cleanliness. There is absolutely nothing I could possibly complain about. I would also like to mention that fact that Bianka and her partner were extremely kind and welcoming and helpful and easy to communicate with. Bianka and her partner work for the owner of the penthouse by taking bookings and meeting his guests first hand and providing guests with helpful information and also the keys to the property. Thanks guys for having me. Please thank the owner who I unfortunately didn’t get to meet on this occasion for letting us share his home and experience the high life. • Jak (1/5): What stay what a joke - Nothing because 30 minutes before we was due to get there they cancelled and said there was double booking. I pre booked a week before spoke to the owner who was full of false promises then offered a down graded room 30 mins before check in I previously stated it was my partner’s birthday and still let us down saying 30 mins before check in that it was double booked even with pre booking then when I was meant to book in the staff member said she double booked sorry. But on top of that said she’s out with her family doing something give her a hour to get the she’s not based on the property even though they ask what time you want to check in the they no that already it’s a hour time slot she’s given 30 percent off next time but honestly when am I ever going to use that would never book from them again felt very let down had to settle for something not up to standard because of there mess up. So just to clarify rubbish service liars and joke of a service and establishment thanks a lot Unprofessional didn’t have the room an rubbish service

• Zuhlqurnain (10/5): Hidden gem close to the heart of London. - This property is a fantastic find, the rooms look as the pictures show. The view on an evening overlooking London is amazing, the facilities are clean and the services provided great. The landlord is friendly and welcoming and was more than accommodating. I would look to rebook when I do make trips to London it’s not too far out from central and for the price is an absolute steal. Nothing really too much to say about this I had a pleasant experience

• Chris (1/5): Terrible - Nothing It’s a scam and weird set up, they don’t tell you there’s a live in host so basically you share the facilities and a “host” stays there basically watching you and have to have “quite” time after 11pm please tell me on which planet this isn’t weird i didn’t stay here as I felt uncomfortable and they refused any type of refund both the “host” and bookings.com please read into this before booking as it’s absolutely weird

• Faraz Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional property - The place was absolutely stunning, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. We received a complimentary room upgrade to one with a private jacuzzi bath. The hot tub on the terrace overlooking London was truly spectacular. From check-in to check-out, it was nothing less than perfect. The whole apartment was clean and tidy. Private parking at the property and lots of shops and takeaways, so didn't need to go far for food and snacks. Would definitely reccomend this place to anybody who wants a luxury stay in london with beautiful views whilst relaxing in a hot tub. I will definetly be retuning back. We liked absolutelh everything. Cant complain! Spectacular location.

It took a minute to figure out how the hot and cold water worked in the jacuzzi. The property is shared with the host and another couple was also staying there. After the initial check in we didn’t see the host again and also didn’t run into the other couple.

• George (1/5): SCAM, MISLEADING, AVOID - I would rather lose £170 of my money than to be a landlord/small business owner who is constantly referred to in he's reviews as a 'pervert in a cabin', 'creepy', and has loads of reviews saying the advertisement is misleading yet does nothing about it as this would be the right thing to do for a genuine, honest person. Which this landlord is not. Hopefully if you see these reviews you won't support this landlord and make the same mistake I did. I don't use booking.com often and I booked believing it was a full apartment at a great price, especially because it was a Sunday. I realized within a hour that I had made a mistake, this was not a full apartment, the web version (which is what I booked on) does not specify or show options for the whole apartment or just one room. The part saying this was shared accommodation was in 'the fine print' section. I did not know this would be a shared facility and that the host stays on site which was not specified on the advert, I believe is done intentionally to trick people in to thinking there booking the whole apartment especially with all the reviews saying they have had the same bad experience. I messaged straight away/emailed to apologize for my mistake thinking it was so soon after booking that it would not put the landlord at any inconvenience and I'd receive a full refund, no issue. I then called first thing the next morning to no answer, I called the following 3 days after this to still no answer/response. I finally received a response that the owner had been on holiday, which looking at other reviews, I don't believe as other people have had the same issue contacting when they have booked falling for the same misleading advert as me. Booking.com pushed for a full refund but the owner did not give me one, I was offered 30% which I did not accept. I have not had any money back from my £170 and booking.com will not take it any further. I then asked for my 30% but was told this was too late as the offer needed to be accepted that day it was offered. This advert needs to be changed as so many people have lost money thinking they are booking the full apartment, the fact booking.com have not done anything about it is shocking. The fact the landlord has had so many reviews saying this is a scam and people losing money due to the advert really shows the kind of person he is and why nobody should book here.

Awful host - Misleading Listing – Avoid at All Costs We booked what was advertised as a penthouse suite for a romantic getaway, under the clear impression that it was a private, exclusive property. Only after booking did we discover—buried deep in the terms and conditions—that this was actually a shared property, with communal kitchens, garden areas, and multiple other residents. This crucial detail was not made clear in the main listing and completely defeated the purpose of our booking. We contacted the owner within 20 minutes of making the reservation—a whole month before our planned stay—to request a refund. He refused outright, citing “policy,” showing no goodwill, no flexibility, and no professionalism. Worse still, he became increasingly difficult to reach, dodging phone calls and taking a long time to respond to messages, making the entire process even more frustrating. The lack of transparency and poor communication felt deliberately deceptive. We ended up not staying at the property at all, and thankfully were able to recover our money through our credit card provider, not the host. If the listing had been honest about the shared nature of the accommodation, we would have made a different choice. But to mislead guests—especially those planning a private, romantic trip—is unacceptable and frankly disgraceful. This host doesn’t deserve to be on Booking.com. His stubbornness and lack of ethics lost him this booking—and likely many more to come. Avoid at all costs.

However, the true highlight was the spectacular view of London city, which was absolutely mesmerizing both day and night. Whether we were unwinding on the patio, relaxing in the hot tub, or enjoying the private balcony from our room, the view never failed to impress. With convenient access to nearby food options and mini markets just across the road, our needs were effortlessly met. The hot tub didn’t work, and when we called the host he literally declined the call even though we could hear his phone ringing.

The advert is purposely misleading to seem you have the whole apartment when in reality you only have one room to yourself! Host has even admitted in the comments/ reviews that the advert is misleading or they would not make any money!! Host was there when we arrived and very strange! When I asked for a partial refund, he said no as he was out most of the evening anyway??? Leaving a review hoping it will help others not make the same mistake!

Avoid at all costs - ********DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY - ITS A SCAM + THE HOST PERVES ON YOU WHEN IN THE HOT TUB********* I booked to stay at this ‘penthouse’ on 30th May. The very next day On 31st of May I get a text from the host to advise that this is a shared property and that we had to keep the noise down after 11pm. I immediately (within half hour) replied to advise this was not made clear on the booking and that I would like to cancel (I booked this place for my 7th anniversary with my fiance and wanted to relax in the hot tub, so privacy was important. Had we known it was shared they would not have got our booking, and they are very aware of this). I had to chase an answer on the cancellation 3 days later at which point it was conveniently too late to cancel. We had to cancel within the first 24 hours to get a refund - which I did!! As I say the host is aware that if they state it’s a shared property they won’t make any money, as per one of their replies to another bad review (screenshots enclosed for your reference). They also openly admit to scamming people within another reply on the reviews (again screenshot enclosed). I then found out from another couple who have stayed here that the host lives in a room that over looks the hot tub on the terrace. This couple could not rest the entire time they were there, whenever they got in the hot tub the host was watching them like a hawk. Not what you want when spending quality time away with your partner. The host perving over you and you both. Basically, you are just renting a bedroom. You and the other room have shared access to the kitchen, living room area, terrace and most importantly the hot tub. I cannot believe how long they have got away with this. I reported this with booking.com but apparently it’s in the small print that they are a shared property so there’s Nothing they can do. I think this is very important information that should be made very clear as it could ruin people’s getaways - like it did ours. Scammers and perverts

I had to pay for his time “” to set up flowers even tho it’s involved in @booking.com - The decor, and the way it was laid out, good views from the main balcony unfortunately we didn’t feel comfortable going to the main balcony because the host lives onit in a shack/shed. Witch was literally resting against the jacuzzi, so we couldn’t use that either. As we wasn’t aloud to disturb him (and using it to the full potential I.e wasn’t aloud to use the bubbles built in the jacuzzi incase it disturbs him in the shack, on the main balcony unfortunately we didn’t use that either. Also a handy man so was in and out most the first night fixing up things etc it was my 14th anniversary wanted it to be special and was very disappointed. I didn’t relise shared facilities meant “literally other bookings in the same rooftop, it’s worded very clever for the owners benefit but I am left out off pocket and loss off 14th anniversary As said above
