• April (3/5): Great location just poor facilities - Location was fabulous Both the iron & bar fridge were broken. After buying food for the fridge I discovered the next day that the bar fridge was broken and all the dairy/food products had spoiled. I notified the management who required me to drop keys back at lock box so they could send a maintenance man but heard no further information from them in regard to the matter. Just really disappointing as the whole purpose of staying there was to have the convenience of self catering. Location was fabulous! Please note it is a studio room inside Oaks hotel complex.. but you are unable to access the Oaks support when things go wrong. Would have been better to book with them directly.

• MAIKA (3/5): Départ et arrivée horrible mais le reste ok - L’emplacement était bien Le checking on et le checking off était abominable et mal organisé. On a dû attendre plus de 30minutes pour avoir notre clef. Et pour partir heureusement que mon partenaire était là pour faire le checking off car je devais prendre mon avion et je n’aurai pas pu remettre les clefs sinon.

• Robert (8/5): Served the purpose of my visit. Close to all amenities. - Convenient for all my needs. The bed could do with a new mattress or at least a rotation.

• Emily (1/5): Do not go! - Nothing After going to a completely random location for a key card to get in, we walk through a hotel to find our room. We didn't realise they had bought out apartments within the hotel. We had previously stayed in the hotel a few weeks beforehand, so with it being more expensive to stay, we were very confused. As we entered the room, we got a very big gust of smoke smell running through the apparetment. We had to hold our tops over our noses. Then, we noticed a big puddle of water all over the floor where the fridge had leaked. The pots and pans were dirty. I tried to contact the property, and they said we could swap room with the same amenities. Having it been New years, I'm surprised they didn't have all their apartment rooms booked out, but now we know why. So we went back to the random location to retrive the new key. We got in, and this one had a weird smell, but we were placed in a disabled access room, which looked different to the previous room. We were paying too much money for what we were given. The management team didn't help the situation. In the end, I had to cancel and lose out money because they thought they weren't in the wrong. Do not book!

• Toni (5/5): Good location but check in terrible and room not serviced. - The location was great and the bed was very comfortable . The room was an average motel room with one window looking out into other buildings. We were charged the $250 deposit 6 weeks prior to our stay (it is documented to be charged 2 weeks prior). Four days later we have still not been refunded the money. The checking in is a disaster. You need to walk to a different location to collect the room entry card. The room is in the actual Oaks building, but the Oaks staff at reception are advised not to help anyone staying in Magic on Murray.. We were also advised not to ask them for help. We had a lot of luggage and were told not to use the luggage trolley. We were there for 4 nights and the room was not serviced at all in this time. There is only one car spot to unload your bags, it had cars parked in it on our arrival and again when we were picked up. All communication was via text message, despite me leaving phone messages about the check in process. We found all of this very stressful and affected our time in Perth.

• Judith (6/5): Would not stay at this property again. Very disappointed. And I didn’t take any photo’s of the property - The location was great. The Hotel staff were friendly. Hair in bath and through the room. Shower was only warm and not strong flow of water. So many trucks using the back lane and was woken during the night. Curtains didn’t close to block out the lights from adjacent buildings. Not sufficient utensils for cooking.

• Nyamsuren (5/5): Only good location, not sure about the rest. - Location. The lady who dropped off the key showed up 40 mins late. The property smelled really bad. Glasses were dirty hence I didn't want to use any other dishes. Showerhead dripped water non stop, won't properly close.

• Tamsin (7/5): Great location but wouldn’t book again due to an intermediate property management company. - The location of this apartment was excellent. The apartment was as per the photo. Really liked the kitchenette so we could prepare simple food during our 5 day stay. The bed was comfortable The shower had good pressure and was hot. This property is managed by an external property management agency. I wouldn’t have booked this if I had realised as I like the flexibility of a reception to leave bags if needed etc. There was communication++ before check in with check in forms to complete, rules etc etc. we then had to arrange to meet a representative at a specified time which wasn’t easy to predict as we had flexible travel plans on the morning before check in. Initially $30 An hour was requested for an early check in but when 3pm wasn’t convenient for a key pick up it was offered free which was obviously great but the flexibility was only to suit the company not the guest. There wasn’t any hand towel in the bathroom or tea towel in the kitchen so we purchased these cheaply which was easy. There was only one bowl and a minimum of crockery which was manageable but would have been much nicer if the kitchen was stocked better. There were lots of dishwasher tabs but no dishwasher! Better attention to the small things would improve this apartment a lot.
