Guest Reviews
- Thao (10/5): - Lots of thought has been put into every detail. Location could not be better, we got the peace and quiet we were looking for. The birdlife was a highlight. Would recommend coming in from Coffs Harbour via Lowanna. GPS constantly diverts you onto on unsealed roads.
- Margaret (9/5): Loved our stay. Beautiful Cabin in a stunning setting. - Stylish, comfortable, attention to detail, clean.Nature and birds were incredible. Location was a long way from Coffs. Name is a little misleading.
- Haylie (9/5): A tranquil getaway surrounded by wildlife, comfort, and little luxuries we genuinely appreciated. - Absolutely loved our stay! The property was stunning and incredibly peaceful, with wallabies and abundant birdlife around the retreat that made it feel extra special and tranquil. We really appreciated the complimentary wine waiting for us on arrival — such a thoughtful and welcoming touch.
The beds even had a massage feature, which was an unexpected luxury, and when the Wi-Fi went down, the board games turned it into a fun, cosy time instead and a chance to disconnect and reconnect. Even our cat loved the stay — soaking up the vibes, watching the wildlife, wandering on the grass outside, and enjoying the sunshine on the rocks.
A truly relaxing and memorable retreat. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

- Haylie (6/5): - It was a beautiful place, nice and cosy, relaxing space. Pet-friendly. There was a party on the property and was extremely loud and disruptive and couldn't sleep. So that was a bit disappointing as we came for a relaxing quiet stay with our pet.
- John (8/5): Lovely destination, awful journey getting there - Lovely lush & tranquil setting; well appointed cabin. Access via Coldwater Creek Rd. It was an horrific experience, thank god we got through. Do not follow Google’s alternate route. We did not receive a warning from the host prior to arrival to not take Coldwater Creek Rd.
- Sharni (10/5): -
- Waabii (10/5): It was restful and peaceful. - The cabin was located in a beautiful area, with wildlife.
It was quiet with no neighbours. The time of the visit was very wet and it brought out the leeches. Which was very annoying, having to check our selves and the fur baby every time we went out side.
- Rod (8/5): Great getaway with our dog - Quiet and secluded No internet available! No communication of this issue
- Shanice (10/5): Hidden peaceful rainforest sanctuary - Lovely secluded location, only 30 minutes from the heart of Coffs. Well maintained and lovely owners. Internet connection didn’t work, but allowed us to disconnect. So turned out to be a positive.
- Jordan (10/5): Booked a late trip at a busy time of year and stumbled upon a gem. - What a beautiful place this is to stay. Everything about it exceeds your expectations.
If being out of the way is for you then this place is it. And close enough to Coffs if you want more action.
- Rebecca (8/5): Disappointed we only had one night. - Comfortable, peaceful well appointed studio on a beautiful setting. A little out of the way. Feel the photos did not do the property justice.
- B (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful quiet location. The cottage caters for all your needs with a well equipped kitchen and lots of extra touches, Sandra has thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable. The bed was amazing.. Next time we will be staying longer and hopefully get to enjoy the firepit and beautiful bush surrounds..
- Glen (8/5): A Hidden Gem - Beautiful views.. lovely self contained unit. Plenty of firewood for outside firepit. Nothing not to like.
- Steve (10/5): Pet friendly gem near Coffs Harbour - Awesome little mountain retreat 20 mins west of Coffs Harbour.
Stunning location, fire pit, and the unit has everything you need to chillax and wind down- even has a reclining king bed - just perfect.
Sandra couldn’t be more helpful and made sure our stay was first class.
And our border collie was welcome as well!!! Nothing- if u like the mountains and a remote location this is perfect.
