- John (10/5): Unfortunately, we had to cancel, yet the experience with the owner would have us coming back. - We booked Lovely Balcony and were looking forward to our visit to Madrid. Unfortunately, after we arrived at the apartment we had an unexpected issue arise that forced us to change our plans and our stay. I reached out to Martin our host/owner with our predicament. We had booked for 4 nights and had to cancel. He had every right to hold on to our full payment. Instead he suggested what would be fair to each of us. To his huge credit we split the cost. The apartment is as depicted. Cozy,(small) for sure, but clean and appeared to be in a great neighborhood. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to explore. If we visit Madrid again we will give Lovely balcony another shot. John We had to change our plans at the last moment. It would been interesting to explore that area of Madrid.
