• Patricia (10/5): The peace of nature - The Property sat at the edge of the national Forest, which created an incredible experience of being in the middle of nature and privacy. We could look out the back or front window and see kangaroos, cockatiels, and other beautiful animals. The property manager was immediately responsive to every single need. Nothing

• Susi T (8/5): Loving the retro stay at Kismet Cottage - The funky retro vibe of a childhood beach house, right down to the old kitchen cupboards and vintage lino tile. The decor leaned right into this and didn't pretend it wasn't an old cottage. Everything though old was immaculately clean. Loved the old books and couch/ chair to curl up and read in The four poster bed was comfy and the air conditioning and ceiling fans didn't miss a beat all week (very necessary). The lack of a range hood over the stove and lack of a floor surround next to the stove. We weren't game to cook anything spattery or hot, in case we damaged the beautiful timber floor or put cooking smells through the entire open living area.
• Ron (10/5): Love what you've done with the place! Loved staying at your place. - Genuine beach shack with cool fit out. No frills, just how a beach shack should be. Cosy location walking distance to cafes, restaurants and bus. Great walking tracks on your doorstep to amazing secluded beaches. Don't change a thing!
• Philip (6/5): Basic and reasonably comfortable despite lacking some essentials. - Location good, fairly close to most things. Terrible hard pillows which were very uncomfortable, all four the same so no choice. The TV remote batteries were flat. No sharp knife. Backyard was badly overgrown. There was a smell near the front door, which was not conducive to sitting outside. The front so-called ‘patio’ was nothing more than a concrete slab.
• Leigh (9/5): A convenient step back in time to old Maggie - Exceptionally clean and I loved the step back in time. The cottage is so well preserved. Location was great with only a 5 minute walk to the cafes and beach. There is a small outdoor seating area but not private or much ambience. The backyard area could be better utilised.
• Yolanda (5/5): Great location and private stay, however, far too pricey compared to other accommodation. - Great location, spacious, and very private Very dated and far too expensive for what you get, compared to other accommodation that we have used in the past of an exact rate, ie. modern apartments with balcony overlooking the Bay for identical nightly rate.
• Leisa (8/5): Beautiful bush location short walk to beach and restaurants. - Having a whole house in a quiet location. Only a short walk to the beach, but nothing beats having a beach view - which this doesn’t unfortunately.

• Fiona (8/5): Comfortable stay and loved the location - We really enjoyed our two night stay at Kismet Cottage. It had everything we needed for an easy, comfortable stay. Bed was very comfortable. An easy 5 min walk to the shops, bars and cafes on the beach front. Loved seeing the wallabies in the back yard! The house has a sort of 1960s beach shack vibe. It’s not luxurious or pretentious. This basic style probably won’t appeal to some people.

We hate - It was styled beautifully and every aspect was very comfortable. It felt very homely and relaxing. There were always a gathering of wildlife in the backyard that we could quietly watch. I liked, actually loved, everything about Kismet.
• Gillian (10/5): Exceptional - I very much enjoyed my stay at Kismet Cottage. It is clean, comfortable, has all the facilities needed and is located walking distance to the beach, cafes and bus stop. A wonderful place to relax, enjoy and explore from. I look forward to staying again.
