Big garden and quiet area - unfortunately we had to leave at 6HOO in the morning to work and could not have breakfast, but Fikile did ask us everyday if we are interested. Oscar was also very professional and friendly. we even extend our 2 days to 3 days. I would love to go back and enjoy walking around the garden and explore more of the hotel itself. The garden is beautiful and such a quiet environment. Very good staff and very good value for money. Many thanks, we will be back. cannot think of anything

They met every request made, even if the request was last minute - the design of the property can accommodate any set-up, from a single occupant to a group of more than 10 - If you have any specific requirements, I am certain they will be met.

Its rustic enough to think you are on a farm but actually you are in the heart of Houghton. The rooms are huge with all amenities and very comfortable. The beds are amazingly comfortable. The breakfast is great with hot and cold on offer. The service is always friendly and accommodating. We will definitely keep going to Foxwood House when in Johannesburg. The water pressure in the shower could be stronger.

There were so many spiders, those that might be scared of spiders might decide not to visit again, but it definitely did not scare my away. Maybe have some peppermint or lavender in the room, it chases away spiders and insects.
