• Vicki (1/5): Apartment had a great view - Review for Apartment Block 1B I would like to raise a significant concern that impacted our stay: the swimming pool. At the time of booking, there was no mention that the pool would be under construction or unavailable. In fact, the listing included photos of the pool with apartment blocks in the background, strongly suggesting that this was the view from our unit. As you acknowledged in person, the actual pool is not visible from our apartment, which makes the listing misleading and a clear case of misrepresentation. One of the main reasons we chose this property was so we could watch our son and granddaughter enjoy the pool from our apartment. Unfortunately, this was not possible and it detracted from our holiday experience. Beyond this, there were several additional issues: • A broken sunbed was promised to be replaced but never was. • Bed linen and towels arrived stained. These were eventually replaced, but the initial state was unacceptable. • The bedroom door handle fell off, locking us inside. We had to be let out by our son. • The balcony drains were filthy, and old hair was clogging the shower filter. • A serious safety concern: on windy days, opening the front door creates a wind tunnel effect through the patio doors. This resulted in a vase and lamp being knocked over and broken. I strongly recommend placing a warning notice on the patio doors to prevent future accidents. • Finally, there was no information pack provided regarding apartment operations — including essential details like waste disposal, appliance use, etc. Overall, we left feeling disappointed and misled. I hope future guests are provided with clearer information and a more carefully maintained apartment. As above
