• Steve (9/5): Comfortable, clean and centrally located. - Very central and close to where we wanted to be. a short walk to Xativa metro station for the airport. Rooms a good size and the apartment was well stocked with necessities. The stairs are a little narrow but as the building is a traditional Valencian style its to be expected and it wasnt a problem

Van faltar un parell de detalls de neteja i una de les habitacions es molt petita (tot i que no ens agafava per sorpresa ja que es veu perfectament a les fotos)

• Teresa (10/5): Great location, apt and host! - Very clean 2bdr/1bath apartment on a 3rd floor (no elevator and very steep/narrow staircase). Self-check-in and out were very smooth. Our host communicated kindly and in a timely manner. The place has everything you need for short and long stays in the vibrant neighborhood of Ruzafa, with endless food, shops, art and bar options at walking distance. The apartment faces a minor but busy street, bus stop just right across, and train station a 6 minutes easy walk. Awesome double pane windows block all the noise, top floor so you don’t have neighbors noises either, plus the bedrooms are towards the back of the property. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Temperature was great, with cross breeze if you open the windows. Big TV with cable and a ton of channels. The internet worked great. Awesome washer/dryer! Plenty of towels, toiletries, and cleaning products. The kitchen had enough utensils to fully prepare meals, good working oven. Unbeatable location, great accommodation and host, everything worked perfectly for us, and would love to come back! Bed sheets could be better/softer. Could add some baking sheets/pans.

• daniel (4/5): - L emplacement.mais c est très bruyant quand même . Une boîte de nuit en bas de la rue. Les télévisions. José nous a laissé la possibilité de déposer notre valise dans le couloir de l' immeuble le dernier jour. Nous avions choisi cet appartement cher pour la semaine de Noël soit 150 euros la nuit pour être sûr d' avoir du confort. Appartement froid et humide, mal isolé, mal chauffé, le plafond de la chambre est couvert de tâches vertes de moisissures. Les serviettes ne se sèchent pas , l' ambiance y est humide ( semaine de pluie). Mal équipé, pas de torchon, pas de plat pour le four, vaisselle basique. Ménage mal fait, des cheveux dans la salle de bain, le drap de la chambre principale n' avait pas été changé, il y avait encore dessus plusieurs cheveux des clients précédents. Pas de drap en plus pour le changer nous même. Très difficile de dormir correctement sur le canapé lit du séjour, il y a 3 barres transversales très dures que l' on a dans le dos . Nous avons été très très déçus et avons regretté d' autres logements moins chers que nous avions vus lors de notre recherche, mais éliminés car moins en centre ville.

• Clara (1/5): Anfitrión sin principios. - El trato del anfitrión. El día que teníamos que llegar tuvimos un problema familiar grave y no pudimos alojarnos. El anfitrión se mostró inhumano, arrogante y usurero, haciéndose eco de políticas de cancelación de booking inexistentes. Un hombre maleducado y con muy poca humanidad.

• Viret (8/5): Un logement fonctionnel bien placé, parfait pour un long week-end - Un logement très très bien placé, le quartier est à proximité du centre historique, il y a pleins de petits coffe Shop ainsi que des bars à vin et des boutiques vintage. Tout peut se faire à pied très facilement. Les propriétaires sont très gentils.

I proprietari sono molto gentili e si sono assicurati che al nostro ingresso nell’appartamento fosse tutto a posto, rendendosi disponibili per qualsiasi necessità. L’appartamento è molto silezionso e lo consiglio vivamente per la vicinanza al centro città ma anche per chi cerca la vita notturna perché molto vicino alla movida.

• Esperanza (8/5): Schönes, zentral gelegenes Appartment für einen Valencia-Besuch - Das Appartment ist sehr zentral gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Nordbahnhof entfernt. In kurzer Zeit ist das Stadtzentrum mit Bars, Restaurands und Läden erreicht, zur Kathedrale sind es ca. 15 Gehminuten. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Zimmer ausreichend groß. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, es gibt sogar eine kleine Espressomaschine. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut, bei ca. 35°C Außentemperatur konnten wir das Appartment auf angenehme 25°C herunterkühlen. Die vom Vermieter bereitgestellte elektrische Leistung ist etwas knapp bemessen. Wenn der Backofen benutzt wird und gleichzeitig auf der größten Herdplatte gekocht werden soll, fliegt schon mal die Sicherung heraus. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es KEIN Klopapier, nur den Rest einer vom Vormieter zurückgelassenen halbierten Küchenpapierrolle, so dass wir sofort einen Supermarkt aufsuchen mussten, um diesen Mangel abzustellen.

• Anna (7/5): - El apartamento es pequeño pero en sí estaba bien. Eataba bastante limpio pero le faltaba algunos rincones como debajo la cama o la estantería donde está el mando a distancia. El propietario muy amable y servicial. La zona está llena de bares y restaurantes. Buena zona comunicada y tranquila. La escalera que es un tercero sin ascensor y es muy estrecha. Para subir el carrito es tarea difícil, además no olía nada bien pero eso no es culpa de ellos.
• Joanna (8/5): Brilliant stop over location, clean and comfortable with easy parking nearby and access to public transport. - Air conditioned, modern, clean and the beds are very comfortable. If we were staying for longer we would have made use of the excellent cooking facilities and proximity to market. Perhaps a bit on the small side, but we only stayed for one night so this didn’t affects us.

Communication with the owner was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend time in Valencia Nothing it was wonderful
• Houlihan (4/5): Disappointing stay in beautiful area - The location is fantastic close to some brilliant restaurants and a variety of cool vintage shops. The host was accommodating and there were some good points but the whole apartment needs some tlc and updating. We stayed with our two young boys here. Firstly the common areas (entrance and staircase) were difficult to manoeuvre with small kids or luggage. The stairs are very narrow. It is also quite old (which is to be expected of this type of traditional apartment) but it smells of smoke and has poor lighting too. The apartment itself on entering there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener which we felt was masking the smell of smoke in the entry way. Whilst is is certainly a traditional apartment there is too much furniture which makes the bedrooms quite small. The bathroom needs upgrading, the door doesn't close properly and I felt the hairdryer and shower were a little dangerous (hairdryer had wires coming from cable and shower was loose at the top meaning if you switched water from.one shower head to another it could fall and so dangerous for children). We love staying in valencia and chose this area specifically so knew we were compromising a little on accommodation but the accommodation just didn't meet our expectations at all.

• John (10/5): I would be happy to stay there again! - Very well provisioned! Everything you might need was available. Easy walk to both train stations and the city Center 50 stairs up to the room was a bit of work. Lol.

• David (7/5): Good apartment with some slight issues - The location of the apartment was great. The area around it is up and coming with some great bars and restaurant's. Very handy for the train station and the metro to the airport. We found it to be quiet once the French doors were closed. On the whole the apartment is good but just needs a few details attending to. The stairs to the apartment are very steep and small so getting full sizes suitcases up would be a struggle. Some thinner and softer pillows would help on the beds as would a mosquito screen on the rear bedroom window but there is a fan in the apartment. Some tea towels and a bathmat would be good as well but its really not a bad apartment.

• Brian (9/5): Would definitely go back to this excellent location, lovely apartment, met all our needs. - Lovely and clean, easy access with codes. Brilliant location, I did not know Valencia and had been looking at the Old City but actually I think this area was better, it felt like a lot more real local people stayed here and it turned out access to buses and train stations and walking distance to other areas meant it was ideal. Lots of basic cooking and washing supplies in apartment. I would definitley go back to the apartment and happy to recommend it. The adjacent apartment block was undergoing some refurbishment but it didn't start before 9am weekdays (nothing at the weekend) and did not last that long and was not heavy duty work. The only other thing might be that if you wanted air conditioning in the second bedroom you would have to use the portable unit from the living area but I did not need to use it.
• Alison (9/5): We had a very enjoyable stress free peaceful time - The location was fantastic.It was quite quiet at night and it was very clean.I was very impressed and I think it is an excellent place to stay that I would recommend to my friends. Nothing really except that the language is small problem..you need to be very clear…less is more…but otherwise everything was very good

• Dave (10/5): A touch of real Valencia - Really well equipped apartment tucked into a side street in a vibrant area. There are plenty of small local bars and cafes yet near to the main city sites. The local, well stocked indoor market is a couple of blocks away. I had come to Valencia to visit friends and take in the last couple of days of the annual Fallas. Although check-in time is 2 p.m., Jose arranged to have the apartment cleaned and available so I could get to one of the highlight events, Mascleta and gave some good advice. It was a really great gesture from him and also Ana who got the apartment ready early. As mentioned by others, the apartment is up three sets of rather rustic stone steps that could cause issues for people with mobility problems. However, if steps aren't a problem then this is a fine place to stay. The bed was comfortable (there are 2 double beds). Everything needed for a stay was provided and Jose made himself readily available should any issues arise or you just wanted local information. Please keep in mind that this is not a modern build; it is in a small, well established building occupied by a number of local residents, adding to the feel and charm of the place. Starting and ending the day with a coffee on the Juliet balcony was a great pleasure. All in all, a great stay with fantastic hosts.

But I told him before and at the last minute when we did the check in, he asked us for 120€. So we didn’t have no choice otherwise we would not have place to sleep.

• Kayleigh (10/5): Jose's place is great. Ruzafa is a such a fun neighborhood in Valencia. I highly recommend. - The apartment was amazing. For the price, I had huge space all to myself. The check in was easy (even with a slight language barrier), and the place was very well maintained. I wished to stay longer. Jose had tea, coffee and Valencia oranges when i arrived. I was able to use the washer and dry my clothes out on the balcony. the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I got a little chilly but there was a heater in my room and extra blankets in the closet. Jose was prepared with everything. the entry to get to the apartment was a little tight and smelled like smoke, although that did not linger on me or in the apartment.

The apartment was very good but inside the building, like stairs, entrance hall, (etc) it was kind of dirty and needed some paint
