• Oliver (3/5): A éviter! - La télévision grand format. D’avoir été envoyés à une autre adresse et surtout pour l’annonce mensongère. Aucune vue sur le lac (voir photos). La literie est très inconfortable, il y a énormément de babioles et de poussières. Aucun moyen de négociation de prix avec la responsable une fois l’appartement payé.

• Yi (4/5): Location is good. People with large suitcases should not consider this papartment. No lift. - Location The washing machine didn’t function properly. It couldn’t spin. The apartment was full of old furniture and it crammed the rooms. Host should remove it and put more practical furniture in. For example, provide space for hanging wet clothes.

• Cynthia (7/5): - L’emplacement est idéal (vue sur le lac largement mensongère mais très proche du lac), deux grandes chambres, appartement lumineux. Déco un peu étrange, pas de papier WC (il n’est arrivé que le lendemain peu avant midi, nous sommes allés en acheter avant), instructions pour obtenir la clé sur demande (heureusement qu’on a vérifié suffisamment avant), lits particulièrement mous et inconfortables.

• Eric (8/5): Chaleureux et atypique - La déco et l'emplacement de l'appartement étaient parfaits. Il faisait bon quand nous sommes rentrés à l'intérieur. Les équipements y étaient tous. Le soin apporté nous a plu, une bouteille d'eau à notre arrivée nous a fait plaisir. Il manquait juste la possibilité de s'asseoir autour d'une table soit dans la cuisine soit dans le salon pour pouvoir manger. La toute petite table dans la cuisine était apparemment juste là pour présenter les cafés et les thés et un grand miroir y était posé dessus.

• Oliver (3/5): Montreux ist toll! das Appartement grottenschlecht. - Die LAge war für uns gut. Seeblick nur wenn man über 1,80 m groß ist und sich dementsprechend aus dem Fenster beugen kann. Fast das gesamte Mobiliar hat die besten Zeiten lange hinter sich. Die Betten durchgelegen, der Spiegel am Spiegelschrank im Bad- war weg, Wände zerkratzt, Dielen knarren derart laut, dass man aufpassen muss niemanden zu stören, extreme Geruchs und Lärmbelästigung wegen MAlerarbeiten in der Nachbarwohnung, schmutziges Geschirr, schimmel im Bad....

• Heather (2/5): Overpriced with poor host responsiveness - Very close to train station There was no WiFi as advertised, we endeavoured to make contact about this multiple times, and each time, we were assured it would be addressed. It was not. The washing machine had water supply turned off, not sure how we were meant to know. No detergent available. We purchased and left the remainder. No clothes rail to aid in drying, as advertised. No uptodate instructions or info on the house. That left was dated and offered no helpful information. We had to contact to find out where the bins were, a diagram left in the flat would have helped as they were not within the building. Superficially clean only. Shortly after arrival, 2 large bags with sheets and toilet rolls were left outside. No communication about this was made.

• Trifon (6/5): - Excellent location No elevator, the apartment is on the third floor. The wooden floor is very squeaky, if you get up at night, you will wake up everybody. There was no WiFi: the instructions to connect were incorrect, the host came and installed another router, but it was not working as well. The host did not offer another option.
• Heather (6/5): - PRO: Nice location, close to Migros and Coop. Can walk to train station in 5min. The responds very quickly. The apartment was clean. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! CON: I feel the advertising for this is misleading! This is on the 3rd FLOOR!!! NO ELEVATOR!!! Forget it if you have any kind of disability walking. There is NO LAKE VIEW, MOUNTAIN VIEW or really any kind of view. The hallway window view gives you a view into what the neighbors apartment looks like and a wall view. The bedroom windows give you a view of the alley/street and a tree. Which is filled with sparrows and rooks that start chirping at 0430! There is no coffee provided like in the picture and there is no wine/ champagne service either. Like stated in the advertisement. I paid too much to stay here. I should have done more research.

• Geoffrey (9/5): A great base for exploring Montreux and Vevey. - A great location near to the centre of town and convenient for the railway station and local public transport. Not necessarily a dislike but the apartment is on the third floor with no lift/elevator so not suitable for people who find stairs a problem. Also be sure to visit the tourist information office opposite the railway station to claim your Rivera travel card. Free local travel and money off some local attractions.

• Cai (3/5): I would absolutely not book this had I known the situation. - The toilet was clean but freezing, ample walking space for a family. Building was very old, roundabout walk up area 3 story. Do not recommend for people with mobility issue or heavy luggage. Apartment is very cold, heater at max 5 is not warm. Toilet is very cold, please don’t catch a cold. Booking for 5 person but only 4 made beds, 3 towels and 4 dining chair provided. Check-in time 3pm, I arrived 630pm and still accommodation for 5 person is not ready. It is inconsiderate to expect traveller to ensure accommodation preparation middle of the night or now expect me to rebook elsewhere when I was already charged in full. Owner indicates it’s booking.com error so I am asking booking.com about it. Please be considerate and take from me to pay only what was given for 4 person.

• Jolanta (6/5): No lake/mountains view, despite description - Good location, close to train station and lake. Flat is older (as on pictures) but very clean. It was marked and also Foto added to apartment, that is has lake and mountains view (see attached) but it was not true. Absolutely no lake view. Also there is no parking facility for the flat, the parking on the street that was mentioned on booking for chf12/day end up being 3h max (nothing found for chf12/day) and we end up parking on normal big car park for CHF 40 /24h. So count with 40chf /day or take facility with parking actually included, may be cheaper overall. I found information about facilities missleading and incorrect.

• Janice (10/5): We would definitely come back and stay here again. - This location was heaven, about a block from the train station. Close to markets, shops, etc. The apartment is spotless, the large double bed (more like a king) is really comfortable. Audry (the host) is very accessible and attentive. We loved having all this space during our stay, with a well appointed kitchen to cook if we wanted. The apartment is on the fourth floor (US) third floor (European) so be prepared to haul the luggage up, but the stairs are wide enough to maneuver easily, with big landings to stop and rest if necessary. Don't miss Chillon castle tour, it was outstanding. This city was made for walking. The lake is gorgeous and we didn't want to leave. Blazing fast, secure WiFi. We were here in February and it was chilly, but the radiators soon warmed up the entire apartment and we were cozy. Nothing. Just an FYI -- be aware you'll be billed for a separate tourist tax during your stay which you can pay by credit card. I believe this is standard throughout Europe.
