Guest Reviews
- Suzi Kula (8/5): - Close to everything, well appointed, clean and comfy. Easy instructions. Host was very communicative. Would definitely book again.
- Alex (8/5): - Good size place. Central location. Nice owner. Comfy enough Bit close to the hospital. The ambulance noise can get a bit much. (I live on a acreage. Not used to traffic and town noise. So this might just be me)
- Craig (10/5): - Upon arrival the apartment was clean and very tidy the owners did an excellent job in communicating everything we needed to know which allowed a smooth entry and departure the stay was exceptional and comfy just like our own home we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to all of our friends and colleagues
The owners also supplied coffee and milk along with washing detergent which was good after a long flight
Overall 10 out of 10 isn't enough the owners really deserve a 100 rating in our opinion. There was nothing that we didn't like
- Paul (8/5): -
- Rob (5/5): Suitable for my needs - Location Broken fixtures and fitting not repaired or replaced.
- Dean (5/5): The property was fine, decent amenities. Weird experience. - Lounge was gorgeous, had tea and coffee provided. Iron and ironing board available which was very convenient. Decent ammount of kitchenwares provided. Remote-controlled garage was good. Did not get given the code prior to our arrival and had to call AND message the host for the code and had to wait for a response to be able to get in. We were woken up at 7am on our final day by a tradie to be told the power would be turned off because they were replacing the metre box. Also master bed was slightly falling apart but I pushed the frame back together. A few broken fixtures throughout but did not affect overall stay.
- Jamie (9/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): Very nice and comfortable. - Just called the host and he bought them over. I enjoyed it
- White (8/5): - The position it was situated in. Close to Queens Park. Very pleased to have cooking and laundry facilities. There were potted plants which gave it a homey atmosphere. We were very happy with our stay.
- Luke (10/5): - It was exactly what we needed. We were in town for a cricket carnival. Having our own facilities rather than a hotel was perfect
- Tamara (10/5): Highly recommend for clean and comfortable stay! - Property is clean, comfortable and in a great location! Has all the amenities you need. Great communication from host, even messaged to ensure we were ok during severe storm weather. Highly recommend this property! Blinds in main bedroom let through a lot of light, at 5.30am room is very bright.
- Debra (9/5): - Spacious.
Convenient location.
Close to shops. Blinds in rooms needed to make room darker.
- Sue (10/5): -
- Brenda (10/5): Nice, clean & convenient. Highly recommended - Property was nice & clean and very conveniently located to the city centre
- Ant Williams (10/5): -
- Darren (8/5): Great property close to Ipswich city centre. - Superb outdoor seating area with a view of the city centre. Time there was not long enough.
- Jocelyn (10/5): - The size, the facilities, the homely feel, the location, the communication with Brett. Wanted to come back later in the week but it is already booked but will definitely be back on our next travels. Our whole family loved being here was just like being at home. Thank you xxoo There was only 1 coffee pod hahahaha
The beds and dining table are a bit flimsy
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Isnay (7/5): The owner was very lovely , always responded to my messages within minutes - It was okay as we only came to sleep The stove or oven did not work as one night we wanted to cook some nuggets
- Mary (9/5): Clean and tidy! - Great size, very clean, excellent communication from host. Quite close to a busy road, street lights not blocked by blinds.
- Jill (7/5): Adequate for a 2-night stay but would not book again. - Central location and spacious unit for 3 of us. Interior access from the lockup garage. Venetian blinds in twin bedroom did not block out the bright street lights at night.
Ambulance sirens were frequent and noisy overnight (close proximity to the Ambulance station/ hospital)
- Leigh-ann (10/5): Exceptional - Very homely feeling, very clean and tidy.
Owner quick to reply to and inquiries
Booked again for next year
- Damien (8/5): Very good - The 2 bedroom unit was so much more spacious than we expected it to be. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting family and friends. Everything was so clean; the decor was modern and calm.
The location was exactly where we needed to be. The only let down was the bathroom. While it was clean and undamaged, it is a bit tired looking and in need of a refresh. Nothing that would stop us from staying there again though.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and great size TV and Internet were playing g up a little.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb - Local was great
The house was clean tidy and easy to maintain I really have nothing bad to say
Maybe the kitchen could do with a few more items
Can opener
Forks
Sharp knife
Other than that it was great
- Colin (8/5): Just what we needed. Thanks - Great location. Everything we needed was available and Brett was super helpful.
- Betty (10/5): Nice place away from home - Brett was very helpful , just amazing . Very spacious and light unit . Very clean and very close to everything shops / take away etc.. ( walking distance). The garden setting is very nice
Definitely will come back here when visiting Ipswich
Highly recommend this place 👌
Thank you 😊 ❤️ The blinds in the bedrooms could be better to block out the light . It's very bright in the mornings .
The kitchen could do with a bit more cutlery, a sharp knife , a scissor,
Maybe an extra bin liner underneath the bins
- Veronica (8/5): Very good - No breakfast Everything great
- Reynolds (10/5): Exceptional - Open and spacious Everything was amazing
- Eunice (5/5): Passable -
- Astrid (10/5): Exceptional -
- City (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location. Large space. Close to the park for the kids.
- Robyn (2/5): Very poor - The accomodation was spacious clean and tidy. We were extremely disappointed to discover on arrival that the pantry supplies were lacking. With No milk, salt & pepper and a coffee pod machine with only 3 coffee pods.
However, we were shocked & dismayed to have a group of builders arrive on the second day and commence the construction of a 20 plus metre fence ,leaving their equipment ,tools etc lying over the patio area ,rendering it unusable. The noise of power equipment running and the lack of privacy meant we had to leave the property every day for the two and a half days they were working.
We did not expect that the property we hired would be a building site and had we known before hand we would never have considered booking our stay here. We feel the owner should have been aware of when the building work was commencing and therefore not booking out the property during that time.
We will not be staying here again.
- Harry (8/5): Very good - Close to where we needed to go.
The unit was very clean and roomy.
Brett was very helpful when we called . I would definitely stay there again. There was no heating in the living room, and it needed more light in the living room
- Kim (8/5): Great communication throughout the whole week leading up to our stay - Lovely, compact little cottage with plenty of natural light. Only stayed 2 nights for a specific family occasion so was not available to review the area as much as we could, but enjoyed our stay. I believe the bed in the main bedroom felt a little unstable when two people were sleeping in it. This was a recant from those who used this bedroom, not myself. Perhaps this could be looked at for any future lodgers?
- Nora (10/5): Fantastic value for money and as super friendly host, that made things so easy for me and my family. - Brett was fantastic - this was made obvious when I managed to lock myself out of the house. No trouble for him, as he was straight on the phone to get everything sorted, which was really handy considering the crazy heat was in Brisbane that weekend. Will definitely return.
- Lomot (10/5): A very comfortable and welcoming place for the family that’s within few minutes drive of shopping centres. - Very spacious, lovely outdoor space, beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook/use, our Prado was parked in the garage (so that’s spacious too), wifi was great and the apartment itself was very presentable as advertised and clean 😊 I guess it got a bit humid during our stay that the fans were on whenever we were in during the day and night. Otherwise, all good.
- Angela (8/5): Great unit for family of 4. Location was great. Did the job! - Great location Fans are noisey. Need my fan to sleep but couldn’t put them on high or medium as they make loud noises the whole time.
