Guest Reviews
- Simon (9/5): Perfect for our short sta - Beautiful room A little rundown outside
- Ana (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): -
- Orla (10/5): -
- Janice (7/5): Nice place to stay but don’t have expectations for breakfast as it might not exist - Room is spacious, tidy and clean, lots of natural light, good location. Beautiful vineyard. We had a good chat with the host and got complimentary wine which was lovely. Some bugs and roches in the room, a bottle of bug spray would be nice. About the breakfast, we were aware that it was a loaf of fresh bread and we were looking forward to it. We brought avocados and feta hoping to make the breakfast experience another level. However for some reason, the bread was not provided to us, despite I asked twice, first time they said it was baking and it would be delivered to us. We waited until morning and still haven’t heard from them. When I asked again in the morning the host chose to be non responsive and we had to go and found somewhere else for breakfast.
- Chris (9/5): -
- Tracy (8/5): Great location for us - only stayed one night so really couldn't experience the area - We loved the touch of freshly baked bread for toast for breakfast maybe more coffee pods we took our own avocado so had this on the toast rather than the provided condiments All was great a beautiful location with great views As they say you cant predict the weather which was wet so we couldnt walk far or use the pool
- Suzanne (8/5): Quiet place to stay amongst the vineyards - Very comfortable bed, spacious room, quiet. Lovely views over the vineyards A little misleading with ‘breakfast included’. Yes, the freshly baked loaf of bread was lovely, but difficult to cut slices to fit in the toaster?
- Alessandra (8/5): -
- Tabea (6/5): Beautiful room, beautiful view - but - Beautiful, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Wonderful view. Beautiful room, beautiful view - but:
We arrived and met one of the staff at the pool. Till today I dont know his name. Or the name of the second stuff member. Those two live in the same house as you.
Basically you share it with them (besides your room and your bathroom).
The pool is direct in front of their terrace. So if you want to take a swim, behind you are three dogs running around and those guys, doing their everyday stuff. Not the atmosphere you want on holidays.
Then, on the first morning they forgot our breakfast.
They apologized. Great. And then? I mean, we paid for it. Maybe a bottle of their self made wine would have been a good idea...but okay.
I go on: When we arrived, there was no milk. We asked for that. We also asked for a sponge after we used the barbecue and wanted to clean our dishes (in our bathroom).
Towels for the plates? Not there.
Towels for you? Just two. No more for the hands.
On booking, there was written, that there are laundry facilities. There were no. It was a mistake. In the end we were allowed to use their privat washing mashine.
All in all the accommodation has potencial: With more privacy, more professionalism and a proper set up for the usecases they advertise with. But as it is know, we cant recommend it
- Janelle (8/5): -
- Carol (6/5): Great possibilities just falls a little short as a resort. - Nice big room with all necessary amenities. Needs lots of outdoor maintenance. The breakfast mentioned did not exist. Not a working Vinyard. Dead vines view from patio.
- Heather (8/5): - Bed was so comfortable, lovely home made loaf of bread for breakfast. Like everyone’s comments the towels were pretty hard.
- Kaaren (7/5): - Quiet location, comfortable bed and big bath was welcomed after a long day of travel Breakfast was a loaf of white bread and pod coffee. The table was set to indicate continental breakfast but no.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Sue (9/5): Excellent accommodation : very clean, comfy bed and lovely location amongst the vineyards. - A lovely room, Clean and quiet and excellent value for money. Host is easy to communicate with and so happy to assist.
- Rob (10/5): - The room was comfortable and spacious. Our host greeted us with a freshly baked loaf of bread, which was a nice touch. Located centrally in the winery district.
- Warren (9/5): Great private stay in the Hunter Valley - Great renovated room in a house on a working vineyard. Simple breakfast. Idyllic location. Bit more clarity where to park. A complimentary bottle of wine would be nice to enjoy the sunset
- Olsen (8/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): Excellent value for money, ideal location and friendly hosts. - Great location, fab hosts, excellent winery, very good value for money Could use some new towels, they felt like sandpaper. Also pillows are exceptionally thin - bring your own next time

- Steve (6/5): Pleasant -
- Silva (10/5): Exceptional - I loved my stay! Good location and nice accommodation with beautiful views and lots of things to do near by I loved it overall but I if I can I would add the possibility to get some local wine from the room and napkins haha
- Juliet (10/5): Peaceful and the best escape from the city! - Absolutely loved our stay. Felt so at home and everything was so peaceful. The owners were so welcoming and the wine was amazing!!
- Maureen (10/5): Exceptional - The room was beautiful and everything thing you needed. Perhaps a dish rack with a catch tray to put dishes on. Love the coffee pods awesome. We never had any interaction with the staff, we felt it would have made it all together amazing . Even just to greet you and to let you know that if you need anything, how to get in touch.
Also staying 2 or more days they should come each day to replace and refill coffee , cereal, butter, milk etc.
- Joanne (9/5): Superb - Comfortable bed, nice and warm room, good shower, nice views

- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (10/5): Great place to stay, good for everything we wanted - It was comfy and convenient to bimbadgin. It was private even though it wasn’t seperate from the main house.
- Hannah (9/5): Superb - Beautiful scenery and ideal place for a couples retreat.
- Daniel (1/5): Never again - Nice room layout Rude staff, four hour power cut, no care for customer service, lying staff. I could go on but will liaise directly with booking . Com and my legal
- Sherlock (10/5): Exceptional - Setting and the peacefulness
- Harry (10/5): Stunning - Sam was a wonderfully accommodating host. Location was spectacularly picturesque. The room was clean and very attentively curated with complimentary bread, OJ and water.
- Eleanor (7/5): Beautiful leisurely weekend - Beautiful view very clean Nothing really but hot weekend and couldn’t swim
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property. Very welcoming staff, we did some wine tasting at the cellar door and had a blast.
- Sezbrett (9/5): Wonderful peaceful, scenic getaway with winery on site. Great Location for Bimbadgen concerts. - Comfortable stay for a couple of nights. Very peaceful and enjoyable location. Nice to have winery on site to visit for a tasting. Good to have some fresh bread and jam, tea, coffee, milk and juice for breakfast, etc. Lovely to sit outside and admire the views. Staff were friendly and great to have a chat with them. Loved the dogs, cat and other wildllife! Pool could have been clearer, need a bigger/better filter and pump for the size of pool.
- Marianne (8/5): We enjoyed a very relaxing stay & would definitely stay again . - Very comfortable large room with a beautiful view of the vineyard & hills . Nothing
- Les (8/5): The accommodation suited our requirements and was good value -
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect - Super easy and a beautiful location. No worries at all.
- John (4/5): Disappointing -
- Charlotte (9/5): Fantastic. I’ve booked to go again! It’s very popular and gets booked quickly! - The surroundings, the room was awesome and waking up to kangaroos just finished it off for me (I’m from the uk so it’s not a normal thing for me). Was greeted by a lovely staff member (Sam?) and some fresh bread and orange juice was brought to me on arrival. I just loved how calm and tranquil the stay was here. Loved the fact we had our own fridge, microwave and great aircon and heating too! The only issue really, was the jetted bath didn’t work- but I was told why and I understood. I could still use it as a normal bath, so I was happy . Not many places have a bath now, only a shower, was a nice comfort . I did get bitten a bit by mosquitos at night, so remember your bug spray (that’s my lack of knowledge of aus countryside though!)
- Shannon (8/5): Comfortable accomodation - Location and outlook
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Jaclyn (9/5): It was great. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and private location - an all round great stay. - That information was shared and easy to find.
- Pearce (8/5): Comfortable stay - Great wine tasting, comfy bed, bath and separate shower, lovely dining area, great view. Smart TV A noisy frog outside but what do you expect when you're in the beautiful countryside.
- Jaz_me (8/5): Very good -
- Sofija (8/5): Very good -
- Vida (6/5): It’s was Good. not perfect - This property it was really nice location. it’s was amazing. our booking breakfast is included. But we did not find any breakfast. They are put at fridge 2 small for kids school milk. 2 small for kids juice . So it’s not breakfast. I will send it pictures.
- Billie (9/5): Superb - Quiet area Nothing all was nice
- Ryan (1/5): we did not stay as didnt meet expectations - property didnt meet expectations. Shared space not entire property.
We did not stay
- Fiona (6/5): Pleasant - Very clean and tidy.
Bedding very clean and comfortable. No kitchen sink so very difficult to wash up and fill the kettle.
Advertised as having breakfast however this comprised as a fresh home baked loaf of bread and some butter and jam. It may be best to advertise that a bit clearer.
- Maria (9/5): A perfect girls night away. - The location, the peacefulness and of course the beautiful dogs. Nothing
- Shuo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee-anne (4/5): No thrill on Blueberry Hill - The location was central to the wineries. The suite is the master suite to the house that has been closed off for rental, there was no separation for privacy nor separate parking, I was asked to park in the driveway next to their carport, the booking descriptions do not match the actual stay,as the suite does not overlook the pool, there is no private entry as it is from the patio door, no separate parking nor was their breakfast included which was in my booking price. I was told by the on-site manager Sam on arrival that it was an error on Booking.com that they had been trying to remove for over 2 years. The booking description gives you the impression it is separate and private from the main house where it is not. The second night I was kept awake by the managers on site entertaining their friends on the outside back balcony which runs alongside patio near the main suite. There is no separation so you hear all noises from the managers inside the house and the laundry that is behind the room.
- Shaun (8/5): Very good -
- Keryn (10/5): Beautiful room with amazing view over the vineyards. Great breakfast provided. Peaceful and relaxing spot. Walking dista - Beautiful room with amazing view over the vineyards. Fresh baked bread and coffee for breakfast. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Perfect for a relaxing stay
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jill (7/5): Good -
- Natalia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome location and the vineyards were beautiful. Really comfy bed and clean spacious bathroom.
- Christine (7/5): Good - Close to all the wineries. Had our own private entry. Didn't know where to park the car so we parked up the driveway. There was no staff around. We stayed for 2 nights and the rubbish bin in the room wasn't taken out. Went to go for a swim on a 40 degree day but Pool was dirty and had not been cleaned.
- Erika (8/5): Very good -
- Clare (9/5): Superb - We stayed in the Rose Room. The bedroom seems to have been newly renovated and was beautiful, dark wood and walls with white blinds and curtains. The bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. The outlook was gorgeous, looking across the vineyard.
Sam the manager was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fabulous wine tasting session with him and Amanda which made the experience so memorable. Self catering wasvery basic, with a fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There was only 1 mug for 2 of us and no bowls or dessert spoons. Just a little attention to detail and it would have been the perfect stay
- Kim (7/5): Quiet peaceful stay and will be great once renovated. - location was central. lovely view over the vineyards Very dated and weathered property. Adjoining doors in bedrooms had frosted glass with no blinds or curtain so other guests would turn on lights overnight and wake us up.
- Ian (1/5): Bad -
- Barbara (10/5): Fabulous weekend - We got into the deck cafe for breakfast on Monday as it was booked out both Saturday and Sunday so we used our voucher then and the breakfast was really good with lots to choose from and the service was great.
The location was outstanding and we mainly stayed up around that area and saw places that we haven't been to before, had some beautiful walks and visited the Watershed art gallery and the winneries in that area. The restaurants Amanda's on the edge and II Cacciatore were amazing and so glad we got the chance to have dinner there. Unfortunately the weather turned on us and our hot air balloon ride was cancelled. Although the weather was patchy with rain and being windy and cold we still found lots of other different things to do and really enjoyed our little getaway.
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
